The young lady helping us was very energetic and made sure to watch the screen during the tipping process, but that same level of attention didn't seem to carry over to making sure the order was correct. I don't mind tipping for good service, and I regularly do, but when customers are being asked to tip before they even receive their drinks, I think the service and accuracy should match that expectation. If I'm pre-tipping and my drink is still made wrong because the order wasn't carefully followed, that's frustrating. They did give me a free drink card, which I appreciate, but it didn't completely make up for the experience. Hopefully management can remind the staff that getting the customer's order right should be the priority not the tip screen.

Feeding my slight hunger, I also got their three buttermilk biscuits with strawberry preserves to pair with it. However, since I was not dining in at The Goat, I was banished to either sitting outside the restaurant or heading upstairs. It was partially humid, and I wanted to lock in on some work, so I opted for the upstairs. I was the only person up there. The downstairs had some steady traffic, but I was completely alone upstairs, which also had a micro-arcade and a bowling alley. What apartment complex am I even at? Service was pretty good as they seemed on top of it. The food was good, but it was three biscuits and strawberry jam. If they had somehow in some way messed that up, we'd be having problems.
