Cuppa is one of my go-to coffee shops. Their Barista Special (iced) hits every time in the summer, while their hot chai and lattes are fabulous for winter. They have fantastic kolaches and also offer breakfast tacos from Tacodeli. The baristas are always so friendly and helpful. The space is warm, inviting and conducive to working, having some solo time or hanging out with friends. Comfortable seating options as well. The drive through is a huge plus as well! I arrived around 5:30 p.m. and saw three other people working at their own tables. The ambiance is very nice; low lighting, music without words at a good volume, and of course... coffee. I ordered a caramel macchiato and requested it warm (child's temperature), which they accommodated. The macchiato was very good and included a little bit of latte art! A little disappointed. My husband and I were hopeful to have a great cup of coffee with a gluten free pastry. The lemon bread was pretty good, but the coffee was not great. First of all, love that they have a drive thru! The workers are very friendly and work pretty quickly. They're super patient and descriptive when it comes to describing what different drinks are. And I love places that provide seasonal specific options. The drink itself was delicious! I got a pumpkin pie latte. It smelled super pumpkiny but the flavor itself wasn't too overbearing. We are regulars at Cuppa Austin because this is by far the best coffee shop in Austin. The staff is authentic and kind and they make outstanding coffee. The food is excellent -- pastries and food from the best local restaurants and bakeries in Austin not frozen junk like they have at chains. For example, Taco Deli breakfast tacos, delish pumpkin bread from Russells Bakery, etc. Cuppa Austin is worth driving out of our way. Cuppa's loyalty program is excellent but it's their coffee and food, great staff, and cozy environment that keeps us coming back. This is the perfect coffee shop. Cuppa, Please consider adding a bowl of water for squirrels and dogs under the beautiful tree by the picnic table by the drive through. We would love to sit there and possibly bring our dog if there were a bowl of water for dogs. It would be an act of kindness in this parched environment for the animals. PS: It is best if you can go inside and pick up your coffee or even go inside and sit down, where there are comfortable tables, chairs, and yes, even sofas. This is a really sweet little coffee shop. The atmosphere is delightful, almost mountain-style with wooden beams; it isn't too loud. The staff is good and friendly. The wifi is terrific. The coffee is also pretty nice. I'm literally not rating it five stars because in each of the seven times I've been there, the floor has been a little stick, as if someone's sugary drink wasn't quite cleaned up. Gentle music overhead but still quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Comfortable sofas to read and enjoy a break in the day or grab a table and chairs if that is your preference. If I had to sum up this place in one word, it would be COZY. I would recommend Cuppa Austin on the vibes alone. It's clean with plenty of seating and a spot in the back with a comfy couch. The quality coffee is a fantastic plus. Check out their signature lattes, the cherry mocha is absolutely delightful. I'm writing this while it's cold out and I can't help but think about how nice a hot mug of it would be right now. I'm also a big fan of getting coffee in a good little mug instead of a paper cup even if I'm staying inside. They'll switch you to a to-go cup no problem if you need/want it. If you haven't noticed from the many times I have checked in Cuppa Austin has definitely earned the title of my favorite coffee house in town. I always order through the drive-thru and they have such quick service. I have a MASSIVE obsession with Lavendar lattes and they serve up a delicious lavender honey latte. Get it iced or hot, both amazing treats. They also have a very yummy Nutella mocha my daughter enjoys as a frozen drink. I definitely need to explore the menu more, it's just so hard to pass up my favorite. I haven't tried their pastries, but they do serve taco deli breakfast tacos. read more

Today's stop was Cuppa Austin! Its located in a shopping center so there is lots of free parking! They also have a drive thru if you're looking for something on the go - definitely a nice plus. The inside is super relaxed and feels like a classic cafe. Lots of tables and chairs as well as a cozier sofa area in the back portion. They do have free wifi as well, just ask the baristas for the passcode. The music is not overwhelming but drowns out other parties nicely - not that anyone was overly loud. The baristas were pleasant and the drink was good. Their menu boasts quite the variety of signature latte options as well as some rotating seasonal drinks on their POS. They also have a pastry case of snacks that looked pretty enticing. I ventured a little out of my comfort zone today and ordered a cherry mocha latte (16oz/regular - iced). The drink was $5.95+$1 tip. While this is on the higher side for a latte in the area it is important to emphasize this is one of the signature drinks and that their standard latte is only $4.45 for the same size. The drink tasted really good! I was shocked at how much it tasted like a true cherry cordial candy! That being said it didn't taste overwhelmingly sweet and the espresso flavors balanced really nicely with it! Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend! Was in a rush to leave the house, but since I was already late figured I had time for a coffee. Searched for the nearest coffee shop that wasn't a Starbucks and voilà! The drive thru starts at the rear of the building and easy to spot. The attendant was courteous, friendly & prompt all great characteristics I appreciated while in my morning frenzy. I was able to savor every sip of my double shot cortado ($3.25 lower than averagely priced) reminding myself to slow down. The dark roast in my cortado was robust and full bodied. With a taste like that, I am sure to be coming back for more. read more

My husband got the Nutella iced mocha which was basically chocolate milk with coffee and absolutely delicious, pretty sure I stole half of it. I got the cuppa austin the barista was nice enough to customize it for me so it's less sweet and it was perfection. So I've had this place book marked for a while. Ended up having an appointment 5 mins from it so decided it was a good time to check it out. They have a drive through but it's not an obvious one. I really wanted to give them a better review because the staff seemed nice and the drink tasted good but my drink was all ice. I normally take a while to finish my coffee but I took 2 sips and realized there wasn't much coffee in it.. for such an expensive cup of coffee they could have give me a bit more. Also I ordered a bean and potato taco but the taco was just a lot of beans. I was pretty disappointed by the amount of coffee I got for my order to be over $10, not worth it. read more

Tasty coffee, as well as fast, safe and friendly service at reasonable prices! Currently available only for drive thru. Masks are required. Worn by both the staff and the customers. Hand sanitizer is available at the cashier stand. The card machine is on a shelf in front of the drive thru window. There are many signs explaining the requirements and to the way to the drive thru window. The menu is large and easy to understand. The young lady taking my order was very nice and didn't get irritated with my clarifying my order. I'm good for my own coffee but when I order for others too I am sometimes challenged. I got a regular size hot Americano and a medium size iced lattee with oat milk. The price was $8 and some change. I brought the coffee home and it tasted fresh. So the next time you need a cup of joe, get a Cuppa Austin instead. Thank you Cuppa Austin for being near my home and for being a good neighbor. I love this quaint coffee shop in North Austin, that is open until 11 pm! They have a decent selection of locally sourced coffees and teas, as well as Taco D breakfast tacos for breakfast! My favorites are herbal teas and the golden turmeric latte. I have not yet tried any of their pastries but have heard good reviews about their banana bread. The baristas are really sweet and always get my order right. This place is always busy but there is always some table available. Tip: make sure to get there before 9 am to score the breakfast tacos. But today wanted to give it a try again, this time went inside, place looked cozy, it's spacious, my husband ordered coffee and butter croissant, me ghirardelli mocha, my husband loved his coffee and croissant, i tasted crossaint but I dint like it, it was dense. mocha was good but sweeter side, it tastes chocolaty, chocolate dominates espresso, I prefer other way espressos more with a hint of chocolate, but overall it's good but if you're trying first time, go for small size. I received a coupon in the mail for a free drink and this place was five minutes from my house, so I decided to try it this morning. Judging by the reviews on this place, I'm convinced I must've gotten one of the less popular drinks on their menu. I was trying to be adventurous, so I got a frozen peanut butter mocha. I'm a strong coffee kind of drinker, so it could be my own fault but it personally tasted like more of a milkshake than an actual coffee. I could not taste any bitterness of the coffee in it and the peanut butter flavor was super strong. Ambiance is nice, seems chill enough, but I don't think the coffee here is for me - or I just need to try one of their more relaxed drinks. read more

The matcha and lattes were great. Quality syrups and strong matcha. I even had to get a little extra cream because the matcha was so strong. That's a good thing though! Very high quality and I would get all the time if I lived closer! Their pastries were decent too. Their smoothies are also fresh tasting! This is also a great place to hangout, they have very comfortable and cozy seating. We always hangout on the couches! Slight downsides: They seem to be short staffed, and since they offer a drive through, that can make inside wait times longer (even if it's not busy inside at all) because the drive through is prioritized. I understand this and it wasn't a big deal but just something to keep in mind if you go at a semi-busy time. Or maybe just go through the drive-thru and then bring it inside (if you're concerned about wait times). One other thing - if you're insecure or feel weird about being around women with short clothing, that seems to be a normal thing here... The cashier was dressed like she worked at Hooters, and as we were sitting on the couches she was restocking a lot and we constantly saw her cheeks. I was with my dad and my boyfriend and this made me extremely uncomfortable. Just something to keep in mind if that sort of things bothers you if you're planning to hang out here. I just wish I would've known before suggesting all of us to hangout there, so maybe someone will appreciate this information. We needed some good frozen coffee drinks and nobody does that better than Cuppa. Today was our first visit to the drive thru and they do that very well too. My wife is the expert when it comes to this particular beverage so I usually copy her drink order, mark today's chocolate and coconut frozen blended thingy with a triple shot down in my win column. As a refugee of noisy, cavernous coffee caves like Star bucks and Summer moon, I was relieved to find a soothing and delicious place to drink my cappuccinos. Instead of corporate coffee with rushing high-school students, I found a sanctuary with a very nice lady named Faren who assisted me in a calm personal way and made me feel right at home. This was such a refreshing experience that I had to share it here. Summer moon at avery ranch was a clanging nerve-jangling experience where I did not feel appreciated. Try this one at 620 and Parmer in North Austin, and see if you have a better experience with great coffee! Its also family owned, if you care about such things. read more

Cuppa Austin has the best coffee in Austin bar no one else. I love their cold brew. Their rewards program is top notch. The menu great as well. Especially their blended drinks and iced coffee. The reason I post this review is more for constructive feedback.... I have been a customer for five years. I understand Covid precautions. I completely get the masking requirement in the lobby. My issue is that in the past year the drive thru has become much less friendly as well as the lobby. Customer service here used to be top notch and regular customers were treated very well. Simple pleasantries such as a thank you or even a hello sometimes are not present like they used to be. I really miss the old management which left before Covid19 started. They were friendly but professional and to the point; they also did not want to shove a political agenda down customers' throats. Not to say I disagree with the messages displayed at the drive-thru, I just don't think biz should be mixed with politics. Finally wanted to say, I am fully vaxxed and I find the masking requirement in the car at the drive thru way too intrusive. Sorry but that is just my opinion. I know that the safety of the employees is super Important but even the CDC does not recommend vaxxed people wear a mask in a drive thru. I have to say I am moving on to other spots. I miss the best coffee in town here, but it isn't worth the aggravation. read more
