It's a coffee shop adjacent to a bar. It was pretty dark in there, not my preferred set up for a coffee shop. But the drink I had was really good, I enjoyed Purple After Party. It had a much more pronounced Ube taste than matcha though which I surprisingly was all about it!

I woke up to a relatively cool morning and one of the first things I thought of was coffee. Then I decided to go exploring for a new coffee nearby. Vinyl Brews was the lucky coffee selection vVnyl Brews is inside The Water Tank on McNeill Road. It was a bit of a scavenger hunt as you have to enter the coffee shop from the back of The Water Tank. Bria, the barista was super helpful with my selection from their plethora of options, including monthly specials. I settled on the hot honey cinnamon latte as she said it was one of the more popular selections. Oh my God it was so good... Nice and warm, robust and flavor and super smooth to drink. This is one of the most reasonably priced lattes at under five dollars base price base price. I asked why the coffee shop was called Vinyl Brews. Bri said it's because folks can come into either Vinyl Brews or The Water Tank and bring their vinyl records and they have a vinyl record player there to play the records. How cool is that? At this early stage in the morning, I was the only customer. Therefore, it was a very quiet atmosphere. In addition, there is plenty of free parking.

Sometimes you need coffee before an early Sunday morning haircut, so you wander into a bar advertising a coffee shop... I have to say, I'm glad I did. Huge, made to order, $2 breakfast tacos and delicious, reasonably priced coffee (all the kinds, just like any other coffee shop - not some tired pot of drip ) The barista was super nice and enthusiastic. He took good care of the regulars, knowing their orders etc. Something strangely romantic about being in a mostly empty bar early in the morning. I'll definitely drop by again if I'm ever in the area.

Came to the water tank bar yesterday for lunch during the game and grabbed a coffee at vinyl brews inside. Such a cute spot! And I love that they have a full coffee bar here. Super nice outdoor seating area in the back as well as lots of parking. Pretty decent coffee but it did taste a littleeee burnt if I'm being honest. Not mad about it though! Service was great :)

We ordered the Midnight Jam & Purple Haze lattes. Highly recommend!

We tried Vinyl Brews for the first time today. We ordered: - Midnight Jam (Vanilla & Blueberry latte w/ cold foam + cinnamon) - Purple Haze (Ube w/ pistachio latte + marshmallow cold foam) I love all the unique specialty coffee options they have as well as the variety of specialty energy drinks and matcha options.

It can get a little noisy as sound does echo throughout the space, but most people I saw here wore headphones and stayed to themselves. I found the coffee to be palatable enough for my taste buds, with the standard coffee and espresso drink varieties. This coffee shop has the lowest prices around. I don't know if the place is subsidized by the office building it's located inside of, but I'm not complaining! The barista was very fast in taking my order and making my drink. They take Apple Pay, making the checkout process a breeze. I saw they had some snacks for purchase, though I didn't get any this time. Pineview Coffee can be hard to find as it doesn't have a store logo outside the building. There are many free parking spaces in front of the building, but just be mindful of any reserved spaces. Their hours also mimic regular business hours; they're only open Monday-Friday, from 8am-3pm. I'd recommend checking out Pineview Coffee Company if you're in the area!

It is off of shoal creek in a strip mall in the back not visible from the Main Street. The shop is co-located with a yoga practice and this atomically generated the social vibe that is hard to find. I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. There is a neon sign on the window as well as an A-Frame Sign near the entrance to let you know you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.

I love the green soft chairs, the tables, and the chef statue greeting you as you pull in front of the building. He's right there in the window. The bistro honestly takes your breath away. I love it! So in the last two weeks, I've been back exactly four times. My first introduction was the Croissant Scramble with chicken and veggies inside, with the Arnold Palmer. My friend got the Croissant Scramble with brisket. The presentation of the croissants when brought to the table blew me away. It was wrapped up in the cutest paper with the ends twisted. The topic of conversation was how good the croissants were. Before we left, we ordered some delicious cookies. The chocolate chips were yummy. So I went the following day and grabbed some pastries! One in particular was the Pecan Bar. The following week, another friend and I stopped in for the Chicken Pesto Omelet. I like that the fire-roasted bell peppers and onions are cooked, if that's the right word. But l have to tell you, the Mexican Hot Chocolate drink brings on the flavor, as does the ice-cold Mocha. Of course, we got the Pecan Bar for dessert. So yes, I went back yesterday for the Almond Croissant. I know, I know!

When I arrived, I was told the cake wasn't ready and was asked if I could come back the next morning--which obviously didn't work given the timing of the event. As a substitute, they offered me a pre-made cake from their display case and assured me it was chocolate like I originally ordered, just with a chocolate mousse filling. They refunded me $15 to account for the difference, and I felt pressured to accept since I needed something for the dinner that night. Unfortunately, the situation got worse from there. When we cut into the cake, it turned out to be confetti--not chocolate. Then, when we tried to eat it, it was clearly stale, dry, and inedible. No one touched it after the first bites. It completely missed the mark for what was supposed to be a special moment. What's especially frustrating is that I ordered from them last year for the same occasion, and everything went perfectly--that's why I trusted them again. This time, however, it was a complete letdown from start to finish. When I called the next day to request a refund, I asked to speak with a manager but was told that wasn't possible. Instead, I was told I would only be offered a partial refund because I accepted the replacement cake. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and quality here was really disappointing--especially for something as important as a birthday celebration.
