Hot Caramel Macchiato
Emily B.

I arrived around 5:30 p.m. and saw three other people working at their own tables. The ambiance is very nice; low lighting, music without words at a good volume, and of course... coffee. I ordered a caramel macchiato and requested it warm (child's temperature), which they accommodated. The macchiato was very good and included a little bit of latte art! It's a quiet environment where you can focus on work/school while being loud enough to feel like you can cough and not disturb anyone (like a library, iykyk). Will be coming back!

Cup is mostly ice

Very overpriced, my cup was mostly ice. I got the miso caramel latte and it tasted like just a classic latte. There are much better coffee shops in Austin.

First of all, love that they have a drive thru! The workers are very friendly and work pretty quickly. They're super patient and descriptive when it comes to describing what different drinks are. And I love places that provide seasonal specific options. The drink itself was delicious! I got a pumpkin pie latte. It smelled super pumpkiny but the flavor itself wasn't too overbearing. And it was sweet enough for me to enjoy but the coffee flavor was still pretty strong.

Overall I'd say this place is okay. I have preferences when it comes to work environments and seating arrangements for coffee shops. There were, however, a lot of nice things and the staff was very kind and helpful and efficient! Pros: - Delicious drinks! I can tell this place puts an emphasis on the proper roasting of coffee, etc, assuming they're their 3. Great product! - good amount of seating - low music so it is a good spot if you need to take meetings - Good wifi! - Quick and friendly service! - Enough plug ins around for options - Plenty of outside parking for the size of coffee shop capacity - Easy to find on a map Cons: - Low lighting - felt very dark walking in (I like a well natural lit coffee shops! Feels more alive!) - Small space - Cramped feeling

Butterscotch latte iced Over Ice Signature Lattes

Friendly staff. Excellent selection of food and beverages. Tried the butterscotch latte and it's utter perfection. Not too sweet. Not burnt tasting like other coffee shops. Gentle music overhead but still quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Comfortable sofas to read and enjoy a break in the day or grab a table and chairs if that is your preference. Free WiFi available too. Check out their ever changing seasonal offerings for something truly unique- like their spring Honey and Lavender beverages. Definitely a better alternative to some of the popular chains whether you want a grab and go or a leisurely moment in your day.

I found the selection of pastries I had were quite good. The right amount of sweetness and seasonings.  I'm happy to have discovered to shop. The shop itself has a great feel to it when walking in.  However, approaching the counter I felt stimulation overload. There's a large refrigerated unit of products directly in front, and there are things on top of it.  Straight off I had no idea where the register was. For me, this was uncomfortable.

Honey Lavender Latte - I'm guessing they are out of cups lol still just as good

If you haven't noticed from the many times I have checked in Cuppa Austin has definitely earned the title of my favorite coffee house in town. I always order through the drive-thru and they have such quick service. I have a MASSIVE obsession with Lavendar lattes and they serve up a delicious lavender honey latte. Get it iced or hot, both amazing treats. They also have a very yummy Nutella mocha my daughter enjoys as a frozen drink. I definitely need to explore the menu more, it's just so hard to pass up my favorite. I haven't tried their pastries, but they do serve taco deli breakfast tacos.

Cherry Mocha (regular/16oz-iced)

Today's stop was Cuppa Austin! Its located in a shopping center so there is lots of free parking! They also have a drive thru if you're looking for something on the go - definitely a nice plus. The inside is super relaxed and feels like a classic cafe. Lots of tables and chairs as well as a cozier sofa area in the back portion. They do have free wifi as well, just ask the baristas for the passcode. The music is not overwhelming but drowns out other parties nicely - not that anyone was overly loud. The baristas were pleasant and the drink was good. Their menu boasts quite the variety of signature latte options as well as some rotating seasonal drinks on their POS. They also have a pastry case of snacks that looked pretty enticing. I ventured a little out of my comfort zone today and ordered a cherry mocha latte (16oz/regular - iced). The drink was $5.95+$1 tip. While this is on the higher side for a latte in the area it is important to emphasize this is one of the signature drinks and that their standard latte is only $4.45 for the same size. The drink tasted really good! I was shocked at how much it tasted like a true cherry cordial candy! That being said it didn't taste overwhelmingly sweet and the espresso flavors balanced really nicely with it! Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend! I look forward to coming back and trying other things!

Honestly the coffee was really good and I love the type of ice they use! But I paid almost $8 before tipping. And they were pretty slow.

My iced mocha was delicious and made exactly how I ordered. Service was quick even when the drive thru had a bit of a line.

Meh. Cold pastries. Boring latte. Less than delicious americano. Nothing worth its five star rating.

As soon as you walk in you are transported into a fairy forest atmosphere. Tried a raspberry pistachio and a tres leches cupcake along with a matcha strawberry and grapefruit ade. Raspberry pistachio was good, the frosting was a lighter, fluffier texture and you could taste the pistachio. Tres leches cupcake was a bit interesting in texture and less of my taste preference. Matcha strawberry was soo sweet, it was more of a strawberry jam at the bottom while the grapefruit ade was refreshing and good. Pricing was a bit high and it's served on paper plates that you get at Costco, so that somewhat ruined the ambiance/overall experience. Lots of people came in and out for to go orders so maybe it was the wrong order.

It was crowded today, but its "Smokin Hot" outside and lots of people getting cold desserts. Once I ordered my coffee, I had it in a couple of minutes. The place is larger inside than I had anticipated. It's a modern look and the AC was cranking...such a relief. We regularly get snow ice at SnoMo…read moreon North Lamar and Snowy Village on West Parmer, so we've come to expect that wonderfully soft, delicate, flaky, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture that makes this kind of dessert SO good. Unfortunately, our visit to Wicked Snow was something entirely different. And not in a good way. Instead of soft, fluffy snow, ours was hard and icy. It even had that unpleasant taste ice can get when it's been sitting around too long. The fruit toppings weren't fresh and bright either -- they were frozen solid and tasted like they'd been pulled straight from a forgotten bag of fruit in the bottom of the freezer and dumped on top. This place is too expensive to be such a letdown. We tried. We really did. Eventually, we just stopped eating it. I hate wasting food almost as much as I hate wasting money, but neither of us wanted to finish this. If you've never had really good snow ice, maybe this wouldn't bother you as much. But when you know how light, fluffy and delicious this dessert CAN be, this was an enormous disappointment. We won't be back. It was honestly that bad.
