I'm familiar with this Summer Moon coffee as it is across the street from my gym - Gold's Gym Cypress Creek. It is a bit tricky to get to as you have to go down to the light and make a left turn. Then you weave through the parking lot to reach the location. This Summer Moon has an extensive food offering - yogurt, sandwiches, breakfast biscuits, chips and assorted pastries. In addition, there is an assortment of coffee and teas. I ordered the hot latte with 1/4 moon milk (weaned myself from full moon milk). It was warm and soothing. Very good... There are a number of items for sell - candles, clothing, caps and of course, coffee. My cashier rang me up lightning fast. The ordering line was long for a while but went super fast. Great opportunity to visit and bond with my sorority sisters. Loving and welcoming environment...

It's a shame because I love their velvet blaze blend. It's honestly their only good flavor even though they keep trying to reinvent the wheel with too many synthetic flavored blends. I know they get enough business without missing mine and that is exactly how they will treat you if something like what I experienced happens. Good thing I'm in Austin. Plenty of other options out there. Hopefully they promote the guy if they like him so much so, at least they can spare future customers these odd behaviors. And, if it was just happening to me then, I rest my case. What I experienced at the Little Elm/ Cedar Park location shouldn't happen to anyone and I got my truth out.

So, it's a little more than a hop from my place in Austin, but it's worth the drive. What I have learned about 7 Brews is that their coffees are very consistent in taste. I have even tried the location in Flowood, Mississippi, and the taste is always the same. It's the same with the service: it's always friendly, and the atmosphere when pulling up to order is very relaxing and engaging. I point that out because it's a busy place, and rightfully so, because the coffee and beverages are so good. But the staff doesn't rush you; they maintain a calm, friendly posture. One more thing I like, let's say you have one order, and the car in front of you has three different orders. They will make your order and bring it out to you while you're in line instead of making you wait because the car in front of you has three different orders. Now that's best!

I've been to many drive thru coffee establishments and the employees are usually attentive and/or asking questions to ensure they get your order correct. This was our first time and they didn't have menus (we were not close to the screen). No problem pull the menu up on my phone and I ordered the sugar cookie chai latte and my daughter her drink. From the pictures I assumed mine would be hot and hers cold. We received both drinks cold. I was puzzled and then we explained to them we wanted hot for mine and showed the picture from the online menu. They just took the drink and remade it. Typically if a drink can be served at different temperatures that is clarified during the order taking step. We also stated we were first timers so that prob would have helped as well. Secondly we were not offered to sign up for rewards. My daughter visited a second time and received quality service and was informed about that option as well.

One thing I would definitely do is tone back the sweetness on their menu. The standard sweetness takes away from the other flavors and definitely kicks the sugarometer to 200 without trying. But the service was awesome. They were friendly inside, chatted about their menu, and even made some suggestions for next time. The store inside was clean and simple decorum but would be a nice fun comfortable atmosphere to hang out and enjoy their creations in. The tea comes in a beautiful tea kettle which has a little heater below to keep your drink warm throughout your time there. The food and drinks are so elegant and presented so carefully, I love it. Staff is friendly and kind. This is a great place to work or catch up with friends and family. Will be back soon!
