I always get their 3/4 winter moon and it is always fantastic Last year I was here and took a picture of their gorgeous Pothos plant and it was HUGE this time almost a year later, from the and now they named the plant Luna and I'm obsessed, so cute!! You can see Luna's glow up in my photos, I tried to see if they had a photo of Luna when it first opened but they had no reviews of it lol. I really like summer moon however the last few visits have been really inconsistent as far as taste goes even though I order the same thing everytime. Today I ordered ahead online and my order was ready when I arrived within 5 minutes. This is my first time at this location and it won't be my last. My order was a half winter moon latte with easy ice, which is their signature "iced" latte with moon milk and half the sweetness as the regular one. It was perfect! Full bodied and creamy! This was my first time at Summer Moon. The coffee bar was clean the barista and person who waited on me were very nice knowledgeable of the product. They had some items to sell like the coffee cups and shirts. The reason I came was for the coffee. I am just a regular coffee drinker no fancy drinks. I ordered what would be comparable to a blonde roast at Starbucks so it was their Ethiopian and I just got my usual half-and-half. I didn't try their special blend milk that they have The large coffee was the same price as the Venti coffee at Starbucks. The Ethiopian blend was OK. Nothing to write home about the coffee was not jump out great to me. I am going to be fair minded and try Summer Moon again And see if the coffee will improve if I use the special blend milk that they make added to my coffee. This is the newest location of a popular local chain that has unique features like oak roasted coffee beans that have a particular flavor, and their own "Moon Milk" that you can put in your coffee which is a sweet cream. I love the interior with its cheery blue wainscoting with tiles around the top, some comfortable chairs towards the back and small tables towards the front. There's a roomy coffee bar with drive-through and ordering counter with display case of baked goods. There's also bagged coffee and merchandise for sale along the ordering line. I only tried the drip coffee with moon milk mixed about half and half and enjoyed it. I'm no coffee snob but it has a good coffee flavor without being too harsh or bitter with the moon milk. Really disappointed in the blended chai drink I received. I have had this drink many times before. This was the worst one I had been given at Summer Moon. There is just nothing worse than eating or drinking something for the calories that you don't even enjoy. #foodCrimes LOL First of all, ordered a 20 and what I got was a 16 in a 20 ounce cup so right there I got ripped off. Secondly, it was so poorly blended, I couldn't even enjoy the drink because the straw kept not being able to get anything but giant ice chunks. I had to bring the drink home, add liquid to it because it was overly sweetened and underfilled. Just a mess. I have had other good drinks from this place but the thing that irritates me about Summer Moon is their poor consistency. I don't have that issue with Starbucks. I go here regularly and I was there this morning. There was a man who came in and started asking for a worker. The employee who was working said "she wasn't there and he needed to leave." Went in today at 6:15 am to pick up a coffee on way to work and the person behind the counter said they don't open until 7 am. Your open sign is lit, the doors are unlocked and your posted hours say you open at 6 am. Also I have been here a few times and I know you open at 6 am on weekdays.
