I stopped by after visiting the Round Rock outlets. I love that there's a Summer Moon in this location. The inside is warm and inviting. I ordered the London fog with earl grey tea and checked out their local baked goods. I got a dark chocolate babka. The drink and the baked good were a yummy combination. The prices were on par with other coffee shops. They have plenty of places to park and a decent size patio with lights. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area. read more

One of my fave local Austin coffee spots. The quarter winter moon is perfect, just a tickle of sweetness while maintaining the integrity of their coffee. Oak roasted beans create that nutty aroma I love. If you're visiting Austin they have a few locations around town and very consistent. I got the blueberry 1/4 moon latte! The drink was around $7. This was a seasonal item. I do taste the blueberry. For summer moon drinks, the sweetness comes from the syrup but also the "moon milk." Coffee here is amazing friendly staff and reasonable priced. The environment is clean as well. However, if you are a customer with ambulatory needs this place has not yet established their Curbside Pickup. They have parking for it but the app does not have "I'm Here" option as stated on their sign. In addition today when I arrived in my crutches the phone number listed went straight to voicemail only for the automated service to say there was no option for voicemail. I will not be coming here for the next couple of months while I'm in crutches. But other than that, the coffee here is amazing. read more

I only came because they are the farthest north that has Tacodeli. And now they don't even carry the bean cheese and papas anymore! Lost a weekly if not daily customer. The drinks were just okay. The tea was fine, and the cold brew was fine, but nothing stood out. What was really concerning was what I observed behind the bar. I sat in the shop for about 25 minutes and watched the baristas consistently not wash the espresso cups used to pull shots. The portafilters were barely cleaned, they weren't wiped between shots, only checked to make sure they wouldn't fall out before pulling the next espresso. Milk cups were only washed during a lull if the same flavor was being used, but even during a lull, the espresso cups still weren't cleaned. As someone who cares about cleanliness and food safety, this was concerning and made it hard to enjoy the drinks. I used to work at a coffee shop and we had extremely high cleanliness standards, pretty disappointed. read more

We went through drive through at around 9:30. There were two cars ahead of us but they had already ordered. The young lady seemed to have a hard time taking the order. There was no dark roast available. When we go to the window...she asked if our order was for a different coffee.Tjere was no one ahead of us at that point and maybe one car behind us. We said so. She apologized and read the correct order. Young lady was very polite. The latte we received was good. The medium drip (which i settled for because there was no dark roast), tasted like hot dish water that had been used to clean a coffee pot. At least it was piping hot. There are too many coffee shops providing stiff competition, to serve bad coffee. I won't come back to this one. read more

This is the best coffee I have found in Austin so far! Their fall drinks are incredible and their moon milk is delightfully creamy and sweet! It was very busy in there yet the staff were very helpful and upbeat! The ambiance was moderately loud and got louder as time went on. This was my first time visiting Summer Moon Coffee and it did not disappoint! The coffee shop vibe isn't quite as cozy as some locations I've been to, and isn't necessarily a place I'd recommend going to work remote or catch up with friends, but it was still very welcoming and the coffee itself is delicious! I ordered a non-dairy Blue Moon Latte with oak milk and it was the perfect balance of lavender and sweetness. This being my first time and not being as familiar with the latte variations and sweetness levels of the moon milk, I had everything explained to me and the barista was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my preference for a dairy-free beverage. They do not offer soy milk as a diary alternative, which is my usual go-to, but since so many people have soy allergies this isn't super uncommon. I ended up not needing any type of additional sugar or creamer - my latte was perfect! I'd definitely visit another Summer Moon location again and highly recommend checking them out! 11/10 read more

Driving by this coffee shop, I just had to try it! The store front and the name of the shop totally caught my attention, and OH BOY! It did not disappoint! When walking in, there are plenty of tables to sit at. Everything was clean, organized, and the vibes were just overall aesthetically pleasing. I ordered an Iced Matcha Moon Milk Latte, which was probably one of the best drinks I've ever tasted in my life! The moon milk was so sweet and creamy. The taste it gave off was almost like fruity cereal milk with a hint of bananas. The matcha still had a nice warm earthy taste and the moon milk did not overpower the green tea flavor at all.
