This place is easy to find- though if you're not armed with a handicap placard that can get you a spot right out front- you should just park in the big open lot at the end of this street. Don't worry it's less than a block away. The service is chill and efficient. They'll warm up your pastry selection for you. If you can stay and enjoy things on a plate and in a mug, you won't regret it. I had the Brunch Pocket. Yes, just the name makes you want it, right!? It's a cheesy croissant with bacon, turkey, and egg inside! Uhhhh, YUMMY! It's a bit flaky though, so be prepared to make a mess. My beverage of choice today was the Silk Mocha Latte. I did it with Oat Milk and it was silky silky smoothness wrapped in whip cream heaven. There's a photo for your drooling pleasures. Check this place out for sure! There was lots of art on the walls and everyone was very friendly. The service was very kind and helpful. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an avocado toast. I still think about the toast to this day, the bread was nice and toasty, the tomato and some citrus brightened it up and the goat cheese on top was the perfect savory element. The ice tea was also wonderful and I'm happy that it wasn't sweetened; it was perfect for a refreshing drink.

Later, when I checked my email and saw the receipt, I noticed they charged me $7.42 for something called a "Lamba Latte" (when what I ordered was just a plain old latte). Whatever the latte was that I did get, it was not good--tasted like burnt truckstop coffee. I don't think I'll go back to Lamppost again, which is a bummer because I really wanted to like and support them (if they could just handle the basics).

I literally told the person my order and then they proceeded to ask me was I ready to order. Baby i just told you. I even asked to add green tea to my drink and he was confused. The espresso was not bitter and had a wonderful flavor .. and smelled divine .. there were several other offerings that I'm eager to try later.. I got a toffee ice latte drink; the toffee was a bit overpowering for my taste, but overall not too bad. Looking around while I waited for my drink, I noticed a few people were there to study or were on their laptops. Hopefully, I will get to try their food one day. The inside is decently sized. A few tables are spread out so you aren't too close to someone, which is always great. It has a bright atmosphere to the place. The shop/restaurant also sells merch like shirts and coffee beans as well.

I did get my Large Decaf Mocha with almond milk. Thats my go-to. There wasn't really much choice on fresh baked items- I didn't even see any but they do boast a muffin top. I probably should have gotten one because it turns out the food selection isn't theirs but a microwaveable biscuit sandwich that was wrapped in paper with a sticker on it like you'd find under a heat lamp or in the freezer section of a gas station. It looked and tasted like microwave food. I thought about taking a photo but needed to focus on work. The espresso wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as I make at home. And the real bummer? Service was good as usual. Except our server wasn't as attentive as they usually are. And my friend ordered one soup and she received another one. When she asked the server about it he said they were out of the one she ordered so they just gave her that one instead. They never even asked her they just switched it out. I thought that was odd. Anywho, I ordered the turkey Swiss croissant with a side of fruit for the first time. It was on the Sunday brunch menu. It was a bit too greasy for me so I won't order it again. My fave menu item Is the chicken salad on a croissant with a house salad and lemon vinaigrette. I'll probably stick to that from now on.
