Upon entering the restaurant, it is very comfortable and feels like a nice place to be. Upon looking at their signage, they have live music! I will definitely be back for that. Upon looking at the menu, they have many yummy dishes to choose from. However, I have extreme food restrictions, and I did not see anything that I could eat because I am dairy free, processed sugar-free and gluten-free. I shared this information with my server (i'm pretty sure her name was Haley). She said, "let me go talk to the chef," and off she went! :) She came back and recommended "caprice chicken over veggies" which they would customize to my dietary restrictions. Wow, that was over and above and so comforting! She said that the caprice chicken over veggies dish came with a salad and she checked -and all of the salad dressing had sugar in it, so I told her to bring it to me plain with a little bit of vinegar on the side and she came back with a salad with dressing on it and she said that they found some apple cider vinegar they put on top and would that be OK... OK? It was perfect! I loved that she listened to me and she knew that was within my diet restrictions! Haley is a fabulous server. I told Haley that she was so good that I'm going to ask for her to be my server every time. I feel so blessed to find someplace that I can eat comfortably and be so satisfied! Did I mention they have Italian wine!?! Oh so good! When you first enter the building, you see a shop with lots of beautifully crafted and interesting products. Lots to shop here, although prices are high which then again, part of the proceeds go into a good cause and the products are well made. The cafe is located at the back of the shop. We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

I never would have guessed I'd be going to a ham store for breakfast tacos, but here I am, having done so a number of times by now, because there's really no comparison to their breakfast tacos. Look, lots of folks in Texas carry breakfast tacos. Almost all are good. These, however, are GREAT! The Jedi are my favorite, I think, with the Apache a close runner up. The dragon is delicious if your tongue can take the heat. The frigas is a nice classic you won't regret. Also, my kid's pancakes have been consistent good there. Everything has been great. I should really come back for a ham sammich lunch sometime--they look good. But, meanwhile, I'll definitely be back for their tacos again soon--maybe tomorrow, because just thinking about them has me craving them again. We got an order of a cheddar biscuit, GOAT toast, and a tomato and cheese focaccia. I enjoyed the biscuit the most. Sadly we weren't too happy about the other foods. I don't know if we have to ask to warm the food up but the items were cold so it was mediocre. Also, I thought I could take out the fig on the GOAT toast, but it is already mixed in the spread. It was a bit sour for my liking. The focaccia was airy, but it was like eating a pizza that was left out for a day. Service is great but we won't be coming back for the food unfortunately.
