Simply the best local coffee brunch place in Taylor. So welcoming. So fresh. The best coffee and simple plates make a difference.

Freakin' love this place. It's healthy, well made food (sandwiches, smoothies, breakfast tacos and coffee) using the best locally use the bats locally source Ingredients. This is a local business worth supporting.

Hip, groovy, whimsical and overall good vibes are all words that come to mind when I stepped into Ripple & Rose Cafe! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm friendly hello. This spot is such a little hidden gem in downtown Taylor right off the main road, with amazing smoothie and coffee options. My smoothie was absolutely delicious - I would highly, highly recommend! Looking forward to my next visit!

I think small city coffee shops are just as important as the heavy hitters in the big city. The quaint, quirky, and quiet spots are vital to smaller towns and bring artistry and culture to cities that need it. Ripple & Rose is exactly that for Taylor, an artsy but quiet town in the northern Austin area. You walk in and immediately understand the shop's energy. It's colorful, with purple walls and cartoon aesthetics featuring psychedelic homages to Mickey Mouse, The Simpsons, and Beavis and Butthead. Every piece of furniture is unique. No two chairs or tables are the same, but they feel expertly curated by the team. Each table has trinkets and knickknacks that match the shop's cartoon-loving spirit. I ordered a lavender latte, and it came served with a little smile in the mug, an extra touch that brought so much joy to me and showed just that extra flavor of love from the barista. The coffee was good, but the real standout was the conversation and energy the atmosphere encouraged. It's exactly what you hope for from a small city coffee shop. Downtown districts need places like this, no matter the population.

This location is a quaint little gem in the beautiful town of Taylor. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a Kaleidoscope of vivid, beautiful colors, and unique pieces of artwork. The staff is incredibly friendly if you have any questions about the menu. I forgot the exact name of the latte they made me, but I believe it had white chocolate. I had mine made as a breve, and it was really delicious. My husband had a beet smoothie and it tasted really fresh. We really liked that it tasted like real beets were used without it overpowering everything else. We will definitely be back for more treats in the future!

Want a fun Instagram-able coffee place without having to drive into Austin, this is the place. There is so much to look at in here! Extremely friendly service and some unique flavor options with locally roasted beans! The menu changes frequently, keeping fresh and seasonal options. The owners genuinely want to hear your feedback and want you to feel part of this community. I ordered the Breakfast Sando which was a Ham, Cheese, and Egg Croissant along with a Miso Happy (Miso Honey syrup and oak milk). My friend got the Enzo Sando and a hibiscus drink here as well that was delicious. They have cups and a water dispenser for you to help yourself. They have a large, clean, single stall bathroom in the back behind the counter that is also painted vividly. Across from the bathroom they have a bright community table/board where you can find out about other cool places or things to do in Taylor. Great location downtown in a beautiful old building with lots of street parking very close.

As a birthday gift to self I went to my favorite coffee shop, Ripple & Rose Cafe, and enjoyed the drip coffee with cream and the Humpty Dumpty without ham. So good! I this little shop and hope others give it a try.

Ripple & Rose feels like a little slice of Austin tucked away in Taylor. We tried the caramel vanilla latte, maple brown sugar latte, and Taco Break--each one better than the last. The tacos, made with HEB butter tortillas, were a standout--like a fluffy omelette wrapped in a tortilla, with pickled onions tying it all together. Even the space is special, from the hand-painted bathroom to the colorful, mismatched furniture. I also really appreciated that even though it's a single-stall restroom, it still has a changing table--something I've been noticing a lot of places don't include anymore. With games and coloring books for families, it's a spot we'll definitely be back to!!

10/10. Staff are absolutely amazing and can't help but smile every time I walk in. The drinks are amazing, the food is to die for, and there's usually plenty of seating on any given day with lots of parking. Seriously, if you're in Taylor, give this place a shot! You won't regret it!

New coffee shop with DELICIOUS treats that have both sweet and savory options to fill you up before or during your shopping trip to the other great small businesses! Got to talk to the owner while I was there with my friends and he said how 99% of the decor and furniture are thrifted from nearby shops. I ordered the Miso Happy latte that was made with espresso, oat milk, and their house made miso syrup. It was so delicious I had to order another one after. This drink is perfect for those who like their drinks sweet. I also ordered the Ripple Toast and a blueberry pastry. They said they get their pastries from a local bakery. The ripple toast....... Oh my god. I didn't think yogurt, avocado, and micro greens and strawberries could all taste good together but the chef definitely knows what he's doing. I almost wish I ordered one to go. I tried recreating it at home and it didn't hit the same way. Will definitely be coming back just for that!! The atmosphere of the shop was very inviting and they were dog and family friendly. I sat inside for a couple hours and ended up buying myself a hat and a shirt. Several groups of people were in and out so it seemed like this place can get busy but the line goes by quickly and there's plenty of beautiful artwork and decor to occupy your eyes with in the meantime. Lots of fun photo ops in the eating area and quirky walls in the bathroom too! Overall I loved my time here and would definitely be back with some friends while taking a stroll around downtown Taylor.

This is the cutest little space! The decor is adorable! We had iced tea, lemonade, the Tom and Jerry salad and a sandwich. The sandwiches are a little small for the price, but the service is so friendly it makes up for it, and it's probably a correct portion anyway. Please visit! I want to keep cute places like this open in Taylor!!

Ripple & Rose cafe has a truly unique vibe and decor that really brings out the owners visions for the space and business. After talking with the owners of this fine establishment they have a passion for and also creating a unique and great experience when you walk through the doors. From the painted walls, the artwork hanging, and the furniture it all comes together. The coffee and food were great. The avocado toast really stood out to us. My girlfriend normally doesn't like avocado toast but loved this one. I think it was the Greek yogurt that made the difference. This is a new spot in Taylor and everybody should give this place a visit. It can be a little hard to find and easy to miss but this is a great and welcoming in addition to downtown Taylor.

We've had their coffee, freshly brewed and buying a few bags of beans, for a few years now at Taylor markets and we are so happy to see them create a beautiful physical location. I got a Dillo (Armadillo) latte and it was sweet and layered with flavor. We learned that their signature Armadillo milk is their take on a tres leches sweet cream with a 3-milk mixture like in the cake. They had a small glass box of delicious looking pastry options. The location is near downtown and has lots of close street parking and parking spots across the street from empty buildings. The morning light that streams in is just gorgeous with the warm neutral accents of the inside. There are quite a few tables as well as some barstool seating on the main counter. If you'd rather enjoy the fresh air there are a few tables outside the shop in the shade. They have an area for merch so if you enjoyed your drink consider taking home a bag of their roasts for home! In this area they also have some non-coffee options and kid options. There is a large, clean single stall bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Check out their Instagram for updates on deals, brews, and their journey.

Nice space, good mix of seating, wifi, local feel, and friendly staff. Their seasonal drinks were usually fun, the bottled horchata cold brew was great when they actually had it, and buying a quart of regular cold brew was convenient. I also remember them being one of the first places around here doing nitro cold brew. No pour overs, but the drip was solid enough when you wanted something hot. I still own a couple of their t-shirts, so clearly I liked the place. The issue is getting there. The lot is small, uneven, and full of bumps, rocks, and holes, which is not easy when you use a cane. They used to have a handicap space, but the line faded and the sign disappeared. I would drive by hoping for parking, but that intersection is not one I want to circle around more than once.
