[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super fun and quirky spot with awesome art and decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very friendly staff. I think we chatted with the owner and he was really nice and personable. Yummy food (pastrami sandwich) and tasty smoothies (Beetlejuice). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thanks for having a changing table in the bathroom for the parents.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved it here and highly recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This little cafe has Austin energy without the pretentious city attitudes and without the constant barrage of political/social commentary.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Half eaten breakfast Sando.

Simply the best local coffee brunch place in Taylor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So fresh. The best coffee and simple plates make a difference.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hip, groovy, whimsical and overall good vibes are all words that come to mind when I stepped into Ripple & Rose Cafe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm friendly hello. This spot is such a little hidden gem in downtown Taylor right off the main road, with amazing smoothie and coffee options. My smoothie was absolutely delicious - I would highly, highly recommend! Looking forward to my next visit!

Great drinks (especially the Yin & Yang if you're into black sesame). Yummy food, we got the Humpty Dumpty omelette and Breakfast Sando. Service was nice and checked up on us as we sat outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very small inside, but very fun with its decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Has some of what looks to be like local/custom art.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is amazing. I got a smoothie and tacos. I already forgot the name of the tacos but they were braised chicken with pickled veggies and micro greens. Chef(possible owner) Jessie came out and chatted for a little. It was a great experience. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a "divey" coffee bar. Can't wait to come back.

Remember when "Keep Austin Weird" meant fun, funky, and eclectic? Check this place out and find it's still alive and well in Taylor. Good coffee, and surprisingly good food (we eat keto and love their Humpty Dumpty!). [[HIGHLIGHT]]A chill vibe and spot for locals and visitors alike.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of our favorites in Taylor!

I think small city coffee shops are just as important as the heavy hitters in the big city. The quaint, quirky, and quiet spots are vital to smaller towns and bring artistry and culture to cities that need it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ripple & Rose is exactly that for Taylor, an artsy but quiet town in the northern Austin area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You walk in and immediately understand the shop's energy. It's colorful, with purple walls and cartoon aesthetics featuring psychedelic homages to Mickey Mouse, The Simpsons, and Beavis and Butthead.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every piece of furniture is unique. No two chairs or tables are the same, but they feel expertly curated by the team.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Each table has trinkets and knickknacks that match the shop's cartoon-loving spirit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a lavender latte, and it came served with a little smile in the mug, an extra touch that brought so much joy to me and showed just that extra flavor of love from the barista. The coffee was good, but the real standout was the conversation and energy the atmosphere encouraged. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's exactly what you hope for from a small city coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Downtown districts need places like this, no matter the population.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is a quaint little gem in the beautiful town of Taylor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a Kaleidoscope of vivid, beautiful colors, and unique pieces of artwork.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is incredibly friendly if you have any questions about the menu. I forgot the exact name of the latte they made me, but I believe it had white chocolate. I had mine made as a breve, and it was really delicious. My husband had a beet smoothie and it tasted really fresh. We really liked that it tasted like real beets were used without it overpowering everything else. We will definitely be back for more treats in the future!

Want a fun Instagram-able coffee place without having to drive into Austin, this is the place. There is so much to look at in here! Extremely friendly service and some unique flavor options with locally roasted beans! The menu changes frequently, keeping fresh and seasonal options. The owners genuinely want to hear your feedback and want you to feel part of this community. I ordered the Breakfast Sando which was a Ham, Cheese, and Egg Croissant along with a Miso Happy (Miso Honey syrup and oak milk). My friend got the Enzo Sando and a hibiscus drink here as well that was delicious. They have cups and a water dispenser for you to help yourself. They have a large, clean, single stall bathroom in the back behind the counter that is also painted vividly. Across from the bathroom they have a bright community table/board where you can find out about other cool places or things to do in Taylor. Great location downtown in a beautiful old building with lots of street parking very close.

As a birthday gift to self I went to my favorite coffee shop, Ripple & Rose Cafe, and enjoyed the drip coffee with cream and the Humpty Dumpty without ham. So good! I this little shop and hope others give it a try.

Freakin' love this place. It's healthy, well made food (sandwiches, smoothies, breakfast tacos and coffee) using the best locally use the bats locally source Ingredients. This is a local business worth supporting.

10/10. Staff are absolutely amazing and can't help but smile every time I walk in. The drinks are amazing, the food is to die for, and there's usually plenty of seating on any given day with lots of parking. Seriously, if you're in Taylor, give this place a shot! You won't regret it!

That style (but obviously not the name) continued with their move to Taylor. The place features quality, flavorful food simply presented. The printed menu regularly changes, and there are frequent appetizing (and sometimes mouthwatering) posts to their Facebook page. I wish I lived closer by, as I'm thinking my husband and I would become regulars. The eating area at Main Street includes 7 tables, with a total capacity of around 20 people. The parking area in the strip center is somewhat limited. My husband ordered an egg salad BLT and chips, and I had a corned beef sandwich. Each came with a pickle spear and a side. I loved my corned beef, and the potato salad was excellent. The portion size was adequate for the price. My husband was lukewarm on his sandwich choice. We had ice water to drink, at an additional, but IMO unwarranted, charge of 25 cents apiece given we each ordered a meal. Yes, we'd return... as it seems like there will always be something new and good to try. I'd suggest watching their Facebook page to get ideas of what they're serving.
