Another visit to this great place, and another great experience! My daughters took me to Purely Provisions for an extended breakfast. We were immediately greeted when we entered, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our meals and found a shady outdoor table. The food didn't take too long, and we were summoned to pick up via text message. My daughters and one of the employees delivered our meals to the table. We enjoyed our spot for nearly 3 hours, and never felt rushed. We noticed that many people showed up for lunch... a family on bicycles, another family with 3 dogs, etc... Overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty, and their drinks are fantastic... with a choice of size and hot or cold. We were in town for a family visit and they wanted to try something new. They heard good things and as foodies, we were in. From the street and the entrance you think you are in a coffee shop with food. But as we know, looks can be deceiving. This place was huge and it seemed to keep going and going. It really looks like a bar you can have some real fun at, but also chill if you prefer. Very clean and nicely furnished. We went for Sunday breakfast. Great menu with lots of choices. I tried the donut burger. Interesting combo of sweet and savory. I really liked it. It was a happy gloppy burger and dessert all in one. Highly recommend. My wife had the breakfast sandwich. She loved it and said she would order again. My daughter had the avocado toast. Well there is a dish to get excited about. The son in law had the chicken and waffles. He really liked it. Food is just ok but service was next level genuine. Super refreshing to interact with such nice people who look like they actually want to be there. Unfortunately they push the whole "farm fresh" and "locally sourced ingredients" thing but twice I've seen a Sysco truck unloading food and delivering it to their restaurant, sooooo... The Tex Mex options are just no bueno. The brisket hash used to be gigantic (you would have to share to finish it) and when I ordered it last week it was down to 1/3 of the portion for the same price. Things sure do change fast these days. Overall, I'd say come if you have kids and get an iced coffee and a quick taco. read more

Purely Provisions was a cute spot to meet up with friends on a weekend, offering counter service and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the brunch menu left much to be desired. The Sunday menu had very limited vegan or vegetarian options (not even a salad?), and substitutions were not allowed. I was told I "couldn't substitute bacon," not even for avocado. I ordered what I thought would be chilaquiles, but it turned out to be a trendy, Americanized version of the dish. Being Hispanic, I know better than to order dishes like this at restaurants because I expect traditional cooking. So know that the eggs in the chilaquiles are served over easy and very runny, they are not scrambled. Also, instead of tortillas, the dish used Dorito-esque chips. Since I can't eat undercooked eggs, I was essentially left with a bowl of chips for $13 (pictured). Overall, the menu felt like it was trying a little too hard to be trendy or "cool" rather than letting the locally sourced ingredients (which is really cool feature they offer!) speak for themselves. I liked that they care about sourcing ingredients, but the execution felt more focused on creating "quirky", elevated twists versus making dishes that are cohesive or satisfying. read more

Such a great find! Like some other businesses in the area, Purely Provisions is in a repurposed home. I love the idea and how cozy this space is! It has lots of porch seating around the building and in the side yard. What might look like just a coffee shop is actually a restaurant with great lunch or brunch menu selections. We went during the holidays but the weather was pleasant and drenched with sunshine. So, of course we enjoyed the outdoors. They have a nice coffee menu with some seasonal flavors. Our food order was okay. Pizza was kinda blah. Chicken sandwich had a good crisp. Of the meals we had, their Shrimp Tacos and Smash Burger were finger lickin' worthy. Expect excellent friendly service. Note that there are no buzzers for your order. Emails are sent instead so either stay close by to get your order, or don't wait near a dead zone. Make sure the WiFi is strong. I'd love to drop by again some time. read more

I love this place so much! My friend and I come almost every week after yoga. The place is gorgeous and cozy. The staff are warm and friendly. The coffee is amazing, and the food is high quality and delicious. I have several good intolerances, and they are always careful to follow my adjustments to whatever I order. We've been here twice once for food and another time for drinks, and overall we really enjoyed it! One thing to note for vegetarians is that their fried foods are fried in beef tallow. The chips with salsa and queso were a favorite, and the peach ricotta salad was also really good. The Purely Burger was solid. On our second visit, I tried the iced chai with brown sugar syrup and my mom tried an Americano. The chai was okay, while the coffee was delicious. The ambience is really nice and there are tons of different seating options, from tables for two to couches and outdoor bench tables. The service was also good and added to the overall experience. Overall, we had a good experience both times and would definitely come back for the food and drinks! read more

Stopped in for brunch with some friends from out of town. What a cute place! It's a coffee shop that has a small menu. Spacious outdoor patio seating and outdoor bar available too. You order your items at the counter and find your seat/table. They typically holler your name when your order is ready, or will try to find you (I think). We sat inside, so we heard our names. This place is local and makes a lot of its food in-house. I love that their syrups are made in the house and their coffee is locally sourced. It opened in June and offers counter service, where you can order and pick up your food. The staff is super friendly and always ready to answer any questions you may have. There's also a lovely outdoor space, making it a great spot for remote work. The wifi is reliable, which is always a plus. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, which is great. They're open Tuesday to Sunday, and they even have a Sunday brunch. There are TVs outside, and they even have a bar! They offer a place where local businesses can also be showcase and who doesn't love that! I got to talk to one of the owners, Kyle, and I look forward to the future additions! read more

Everything you need right where you need it! Coffee, food, drinks in the evening and some live music!!! They also host events with local vendors that is always nice to checkout. I've only had the iced coffee and it was delicious! It's usually busy when I go, so that's a sign of good coffee and service!! If you're in the area definitely give them a try. Such a cute newer coffee spot! The staff were super friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu. They've got a great variety of coffee and food options. I tried the half order of chilaquiles (so good!) and the maple pecan latte. The plating of the brisket hash is colorful and pleasing to the eye, but after the first bite, you're asking for more flavor and salt. The chicken and waffles is the most basic approach and would be okay if my niece graduating from middle school came up with menu suggestion. The waffle is small and thin. The chicken portion is small and you can barely see the syrup. There's no levels in the chicken and waffles. If you ask for a decaf iced latte, please make it a double because you will be paying for milk and ice with a splash of coffee. The service is great but why not deliver the food to the table? The pick up area is chaotic. Too many people waiting in that area. A food runner would resolve this issue. read more

This is my first review but my third visit to this lovely coffee shop. I love the ability to have food, coffee, breakfast lunch, and dinner anytime in the day along with the aesthetics of the place. It is so beautiful in here. I love the furniture and even the outside and I stay specifically this night just to see the lights come on outside. The owners of the staff are really nice. The drinks in the picture are lemonade with a toss of lavender which I love lemonade. They make their lemonade, fresh and squeeze. Every time I come here it is a vibe. I was at a different coffee shop when I learned of this location. My friend and I walked over to this location to check it out after being introduced and loved it. We talked to the owners and Lisa was so kind I believe that's her name. The second time I went, I met a lady and discussed an opportunity for a business proposition, and it was a great meeting. We had drinks and chatted for a while. Again, the atmosphere was nice and the areas were clean. By the way, they even have a back bar where you can order Liquor, wine, and beer. I really don't know if there's anything else to say because this is just a great package of experiences for me. It's one of my favorite places to go in downtown round rock and you should check it out. read more

I was there with friends for brunch on a Sunday, it got super busy right after opening so plan accordingly. I ordered the Purely breakfast plate and requested to sub the bacon for an extra egg. The dish came out with bacon (they fixed it for me but had to wait for a while to be served). Egg portion was very small, definitely not two eggs as mentioned in the menu. Dish was monochromatic which I find unappealing but fine, the real issue was that the potatoes and toast were drenched in fat, I assume butter? Would be nice to see a little less of that! The balsamic toast my friends ordered looked very pretty (it's the only vegetarian dish in the food menu). Coffee was ok, drip comes with one refill for no extra charge but there's only half & half as an option to cut the coffee, no milk. Background music was good but the place is very busy, good for a day out with friends or a family with older children for sure. read more

Very cute place with plenty of seating (though mainly outside as picnic chairs). I think the service is really efficient and the coffee drinks are really tasty. I'm a fan favorite of their coppercino which has some raspberry syrup--yum! The food here is reasonably priced and while doesn't necessarily wow me, is pretty good. I have no complaints! read more

A few tables inside and lots of seating outside and on the porch. Very nicely done! You order at the counter and then find a seat. I ordered the Smashburger with fries with an iced tea. My friends tried the fish tacos and the Italian sandwich. The Italian sandwich was on the small side, but good. The fish tacos look delicious. My Smashburger was not really a smash burger as it was a very generous well cooked patty on a very fresh soft bun. I have to say it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Okay, let's start with the entry. We entered right as they opened at 10am (Sunday). One of the owners was there and greeted us, and everyone who entered. His friendliness started off everything on a good note. When we entered, there was already a line forming for the Sunday rush. The line was long, but the wait was not as the cashier/baristas moved quickly on taking orders (no wait staff). When ordering, they take your name and number to notify you when your order is ready. The wait on the food was fairly short considering how BUSY it was. We were able to get seating with no problem. The restaurant was well laid out, well designed, tables were not crowded together and all the design was warm and welcoming. Most importantly (for me) was comfortable chairs. My Chorizo and potato hash was delicious! I had a difficult time deciding on what to order as the menu had several items I wanted to try (but my stomach has a limited capacity lol). I went with a decaf coffee which was also really good (not many decaf coffees are good). Our interactions with the staff were great. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We had an awkward experience here our first time and felt like it was somewhat inherent to the setup. My iced dirty chai breve did impress, but the chicken and waffle really fell flat. I had spotted a real Belgian-style waffle at an adjacent table which gave me high hopes, but mine was more like a jumbo eggo and came with no syrup. This felt a bit like salt in a wound, as they had already made me the wrong dish initially. Maybe the rush to get me the right plate led to some underperformance. I know these things can happen, especially during a busy Sunday brunch. I'll give them another try for lunch sometime and report back. I do like the coffee, aesthetic, and location after all. Well, I had to come back because my truck started operating like WAYMO and I had to surrender. Not really, but the pull was there. A long overdue visit to this fabulous venue. I went for another Smash burger and true to form, they killed it again! God I love the flavor and texture of that burger!! Perfect amount of food too! But I tried a new drink today on my way out. A decadent mocha drink with honey and cinnamon on top. One of Purely's Signature drinks called the 'Grizzly Bear'. Sooooo good!! Get it hot or iced; I chose Hot!...Why? Fantastic addition to downtown Round Rock. The space is beautifully renovated in an older home/business, plenty of outdoor seating, and some outlets for working. My brown sugar latte and grab-and-go taco were excellent -- love that they use house-made syrups. They also have a solid breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. For someone who doesn't have a lot of money but tips very well regardless, I was disappointed by an added cost for a different milk option for my coffee. It doesn't bother me that there is a charge that exists - every business can chose how they operate - it bothers me the barista didn't tell me about the fee before paying. You can assume it's forgetfulness, but I assume it's you not doing your job properly or with integrity. This sounds harsh & extreme for a cup of coffee, particularly for someone reading who can afford more than that, but if you're going to charge a customer more money than expected, they should be made aware of it through your conversation. Disappointed. Otherwise, it looks like a nice shop. read more
