    Potato croquettes

We visited Foxhole Culinary Tavern during their daily social hour (3-6:30 PM, and all night Sunday & Monday) and loved it! The deals are fantastic. We started with the Texas Queso, which comes with skirt steak, and the tortilla chips were fresh and homemade- perfect for dipping. The Crispy Potato Croquettes were a highlight too, with six generous portions that were golden and delicious. We also shared the Chauvinist Pig flatbread- topped with applewood bacon, sausage, roasted corn, pickled red jalapeño, green onion, mozzarella, smoked gouda, and chipotle BBQ. Every bite was incredible; the flavors all balanced so well. Service was attentive and friendly, and the menu has something for everyone, from elevated entrees to hearty sandwiches. Foxhole Culinary Tavern is a must-try spot!

Another great experience here at the Foxhole. I ordered the Venison Chili a small salad. The chili had a little spice but I had no issues with it. It had a wonderful flavors. The salad was fresh. Great food. I also enjoyed a gin and tonic with my meal. Our server was excellent taking care of our needs. She even thanked me for asking questions. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as bar seating, table and booth seating. Parking is a little tight on a busy night. If you are in the area, then be sure to stop in and try what the Foxhole Culinary has to offer.

Military discount is honored! Food is great...they have happy hour and we ordered crab cake, calamari, beef tacos, catfish, pork belly tacos. They were all good. The catfish though was on the salty side. Service was superb I wish I got the server's name. My friends got drinks---I'm not able to review as I just got water but this is a great place to hang out and catch up with great company.

House Burger with Spicy Dill Pickles on the side. Fries

Came here for lunch and arrive shortly after they opened. No crowd, but a few patrons we present. Festive holiday decorations made for a nice dining experience. Christa (waitress) was on top of her game with service. She made the recommendation of the house burger, since that's what I was in the mood for. Also raved about the blackened fries. What I loved most was she gave me a solid disclaimer about the spicy dill pickles - of which I am not a fan of. The burger was made as ordered. This is a HUGE burger! I only was able to finish half. It was #delish! Will definitely return. There are some good-looking menu options I'd like to try.

    Excellent catfish appetizer!

Courteous, friendly and great service! Went there for a friend's birthday with a number of folks. It was hopping for a Wednesday! Service was great, server super friendly and the food excellent! Wonderful catfish appetizer and great main courses. I have been there several times over the years, but forgot what a great spot it is. Recommended.

The Pattie in this burger was delicious! The fries were stale like.

Food+service for the price = never again, not worth it. We were assigned to this seating and we mentioned the mess. No one bothered to clean it up the hole time we were there. The waiter did a crappy job on checking up on us. He went MIA till I grabbed the attention of another staffer. My first and last time here. I regret wasting my money and time here.

Hi gang, long time listener first time writer. I love visiting foxhole, and have since you guys first opened. The food is always consistent and delicious and the service is great. I just have one question about a new tax that I saw on my ticket tonight, that I don't quite understand. The cost of a beer on happy hour is supposed to be six dollars. However, when I'm looking at the taxes, I see that you've added a 50 Cent mixed drink charge. When I asked the bartender about this, he said that it's a fee that you guys pass along for every drink that's ordered. So if I had had two beers that tax would've been a dollar meeting that the actual cost of your beers is $6.50, not the $6 advertised. Can you guys help explain why you have this charge?

    Olivia S.

The atmosphere was nice. Not too bright. The service was okay. The food was f@*king great. You can taste the difference in the quality.

$10 for this.... "Wedge salad" barely anything in there and next to NO bacon or bleu cheese for 10 dollars.

$10 wedge salad for a minuscule serving. Barely anything bacon or bleu cheese. Looks nothing like the picture they used to promote it.

Visited right when opened. Doesn't open til 3, so there wasn't really anyone here yet. However it's very nice inside. The food was good, had a really good waiter as well.

It was my first time visiting Foxhole Tavern, as I normally pass it when driving on 183 but never really thought much of it until recently. Came in for a Sunday brunch and started off with drip coffee, and the eggs benedict dish without bacon. Austin was the name of our server and he was super attentive and kind. The benedict dish was not too big or small---it was just right! The potato cubes had a light spicy seasoning and mayo sauce, but we were also able to request ketchup. In addition to the hollandaise sauce, the muffins were topped with a scrumptious spinach artichoke dip, and sliced cherry tomatoes were a sweet accompaniment on the side. My bf and I also shared a Belgian waffle, which came out beautifully presented. Just enough jam, syrup, and fruit! I also recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice. It can get pretty dark inside and sometimes there is a live band playing music so that cam be a nuisance if you prefer to eat in a quieter setting.

An ice cold beer from the tap and a carafe of ice water.

A tidal wave of sauces, both creamy and hot, yet not all that flavorful nuked my tastebuds. To be clear, I like spicy food. I like sauces. I'm not a foodie but I have been known to watch an episode of 'Chopped'. This one is chopped from our list for now. Apologies to the staff who are top of their game and doing a fine job taking care of the customers.

The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. They always make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of, and it honestly feels like visiting friends every time we walk through the door. Restaurants with great food are everywhere. Restaurants with genuinely wonderful people are rare. Jack Allen's is one of those rare places, and we're incredibly grateful for the amazing team there.

My husband got the fried pork chop and said it was cooked perfectly and that the gravy was delicious. Overall, an enjoyable meal and we would return.

Aric kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and was quite accomodating and didn't mind us ladies being moved into an inside table. My mother liked her shrimp scampi as it's her go to, but my wings were mediocre and messed with my stomach quite a bit. I ordered the Nashville Hot (spicy) and Hot Honey Buffalo (medium) wings and neither were spicy/had a kick in the slightest. The hot honey wings tasted like there was just honey on the wings, not even a hint of Buffalo sauce. The service was decent; I was constantly looking for our waitress who seemed to want to get us out by the way she dropped the check without a word. Didn't ask how the food was or if we needed anything throughout the meal unless we flagged her down. Upon checkout, they charged our check 2x and the manager Hiro was incredibly unhelpful. It was like pulling teeth to get him to come to our table and we waited an extra 20 minutes to get this situation resolved because he was not coming over. He seemed to just want to get us out rather than actually understand and figure out the issue, which was that the waitress charged us and then he also charged us for the whole meal. After he returned, he said it'll just be a penny hold and was dismissive when we tried to explain the situation. The penny hold was untrue, as both charges were deducted from the account already. At this point we were tired and wanted to leave as we had long finished eating so we requested a refund receipt for the second charge and got ready to leave and wait the 1-3 business days for the refund to appear on the account. He informed us he could not do that/did not have one which was unacceptable and we were not leaving until we got one. He had to get another manager, Jose, to resolve the problem. Jose listened and fixed the issue swiftly and provided us with the refund receipt, I wish he had been the manager that helped at first. Definitely a negative first and last personal experience at BJs, would not recommend this place for service nor food.

This is why the restaurant has two stars and not 1. The pizza slices are huge! I was pretty impressed when it appeared. However, my cheese slice did not have cheese Co the whole slice (see the pic). Also, parts of the slice had the cheese cooked too well. I liked the crust, but seeing as it didn't taste like a nice cheesy slice, it was a fail. The chips and queso tasted like Velveeta with boring chips. My companion actually thought the chips were stale. Our server was willing to exchange this cheese dip (it could not be classified as queso) with salsa, but even that was barely passable. We did not eat this appetizer. The only saving grace is that it was Margarita Monday and it was half price. The salad was disappointing as well. I don't know what it was, but it tasted off. I liked the cheese and olives, but it didn't taste right. Cups are fully recyclable, which is nice, but each refill comes with another cup, not a refill to the cup you are using. Unless they are actually recycling them or customers take them home to recycle, this is a huge waste. My companion had two refills, so he left 3 cups. While this saves dishwashing, it seems wasteful. Overall, this was a major disappointment.
