I haven't been here for a year because I don't live in round rock, but I'm so glad that while in round rock I came to this restaurant for lunch because I was not disappointed. I ordered a turkey sandwich, and it was amazing. They made it exactly to my specifications and I absolutely loved it. The restaurant is very clean and inviting They have tables and booths. The service is great. You walk up to the front and you order and you take a number to your table. It's a casual dining experience. Their menu is large And their flavor is large as well! We ordered two items on the Choose Two menu, but the cashier rang them up as two separate items, resulting in a charge of 16.66 instead of 13.79. I asked the cashier about it and she did not make an adjustment, though I think she could have reversed the transaction and redone it. I have been to many Corner Bakerys, and the food is always good. This was excellent as well. The service was fast and nice. The drawback was that no one seemed to be bussing tables after the customer had left. Therefore, a lot of seats were not available. Mac and Cheese- This was absolutely the blandest Mac and Cheese I have ever had. I am not sure what happened here. There was a lot of mac but no cheese. Chicken Pomodori Panini- The bread was pressed so condense that it made the bread hard. The chicken was not over dried but not juicy either and was lightly seasoned. With this sandwich, I was looking for more of a savory, creamy base because of the provolone and pesto, but this is not what my palate received. Instead the taste was more of a creamy, earthy taste. Club Sandwich- I love a good club sandwich, as it is one of the most iconic sandwiches on any menu! Layers of ham, bacon and turkey with juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce and cheddar cheese create the perfect bite! This sandwich wasn't exactly perfect but the thick cuts of bacon and finely sliced deli meat within this sandwich was nicely done. Chicken Noodle Soup- Well, what can I say about the item? It was chicken and it was noodle, so that's a plus but this was not that Aunt Bee 'been making pies all day' home made taste (Shout out to Frances Bavier). It was decent but not memorable. I tried to go to Waffle House this morning........but they were packed.........so then I went to 'The Corner Bakery' in Round Rock.......OMG......It literally took 10 minutes for the cashier to place the order for the people in front of us.......instead of a cash register it sounded like she was typing out a computer program.........then we got there and she did the same thing.........another 10 minutes(at least) and our order is placed........but instead of a nice big cinnamon roll from the display case....I got a cold little cinnamon bun in a plastic case.......no napkins......no forks........I had to go to the counter to ask for napkins.........and the tables are all grossly STICKY!!!! What kind of cleaner are they using??? So Gross!!! On top of that the coffee was Luke Warm......I really hate Luke warm coffee..........sigh.......Plus I was 'Hangry' when I went in which just made everything worse.........so yeah......McDonalds is WAY better than what I got here this time. read more

My family and I stopped in here for a quick brunch. While the food was good, the waitresses who took our order seemed bored and bothered. They actually were rude when we asked why we didn't receive certain items we had requested. The food itself was satisfying but nothing special, considering many of our dishes were incorrectly prepared and we had to pick off a lot of food that we specifically asked not to be included. I found this place by accident because I was on the hunt for Petey's Bing drinks (caffeinated morning beverage of choice). When I searched for the Bings online, I was directed to Sprout's Farmer's Market. Sprouts only had two of four flavors, but two is better than none. After exiting Sprouts, I scanned the parking lot for food. At first, all I saw was a sit-down Chinese restaurant, a nail salon, and an Asian massage place. I wondered if the people cooking wonton soup were the same people making people happy. When I scanned the the parking lot more, I noticed Corner Bakery and ventured inside. Very clean atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered me a chicken sandwich, but it was more of a messwich. Nasty sauce, tomatoes not fresh, blah chicken (might have come from the Blah Chicken Farm). Don't let the picture I post fool you. This place is just a one start to me. We ordered the egg avocado bowl and specifically asked to get it with no onion at all as my bf is highly allergic to it and sure enough it came out with green onions mixed in the eggs. We returned it and asked for money back and there was not even a manager coming out to check on this. The couissant on the other plated was pressed down flat as can see on the picture, when they are being pressed, it becomes really oily. The potato were aweful as if it was taken out of the fridge and toss on the grid lightly just to warm it up. The texture is tough and cold. Nasty!!! The large coffee cup leaks after 10 minutes and we changed to another one and it still leaks, thank hod we found out at the restaurant and did not take it to go and leave it in the car. They should not even use this cup or at least double cup it. To my opinion, a chain restaurant like this should have hire a better manager or someone who knows better to check on the food before it serves to the customers. We mentioned about the allergies, the cashier did put the note down hut somehow the food came out wrong still, who should the blame go to? We agreed not to go back any more. This was our first time here. I liked it and I'm sure we will return at some point. I got the 1/2 and 1/2 lunch special where you get to choose your 2 items. I'm eating Keto so I had 2 salads. One with Spinach, bacon, and eggs and one what was a chopped up Cobb salad. They were fine. What would have made them better was more dressing and if they hadn't been SO cold. I'm all for keeping them cold and crisp but these were very cold to where it was hard to taste the ingredients. The kids had kids meals which I really liked. One had 1/2 a ham sandwich with a cup of soup, chips and a cup of fruit. The other had spaghetti and meatball with a cup of fruit. They both came with a drink if you chose it. Used this location for a company event. Probably the worst experience I ever had when it comes to invoices and receipts. Management is not on the same page. We placed an order for 5 different days to be delivered. Not only were our items late in delivery but when we called mid week to cancel they never sent an updated invoice. After calling and emailing for 2 weeks i finally just went in. I was told "yeah my manager got your message she was waiting for you to call again before she reached out". I was directed to a regional manager who was extremely cold upon answering and was more interested in reprimanding the store on what they did wrong instead of resolving the issue which was getting me a legit receipt. Instead she stood strong on "we don't so that". I never heard of a business that can't produce receipts. Needless to say if you want over priced cafeteria food this is your best option. But if you want good service and a legitimate receipt of payment...take your business elsewhere. Sorry to the employees that work under Tonya. Definitely not good leadership. read more

I recently dined at Corner Bakery. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. CB has struggled to provide quality and timely service which adversely affected the quality of the food. This day, the staff was in sync with each other, they were friendly and accommodating, the food was served in a timely manner, displayed beautifully and was delicious.
