Location Cedar Hill- just off main highway Parking Large open lot Atmosphere Clean, friendly, country decor Service Friendly and immediate-brought a carafe of water and coffee pot! Menu Seasonal offerings, breakfast, lunch items. Very healthy options-smoothies, salads, ect. We had the works omelette-loaded with everything! A dollop of sour cream topped it off with a nice side salad and artesian buttered toast. A side cup of preserves for the toast was wonderful. I wish I had asked the customer beside us what they ordered-looked like eggs covered with arugula, bacon and cup of fruit. Everything here is just so good!! Summary When we travel and see a First watch nearby-its a must for breakfast! Great menu, outstanding service-love this place!

Can someone please explain why it takes so long for food to hit the table? There were maybe 20 people in the restaurant, yet we still waited what felt like forever. That said.....worth it. The new Elote Breakfast Burrito? Absolute flavor explosion. Every bite was loaded with bold, savory goodness that made the wait disappear. My beautiful wife went with the Steel Cut Oatmeal (I know, oatmeal?), and dang it if that wasn't amazing too-rich, hearty, and perfectly prepared. Our waitress was super friendly and took great care of us, which definitely helped the mood. Overall, it was a great experience once the food finally arrived. Just be ready to wait... but trust me, the food delivers.

Went on a Friday around 10-11 and it was still packed! The service and hospitality was A+. One issue I have with popular eateries is the food comes out slow and cold. That was not the case here. My food came out in a descent time and it was HOT! The coffee was fresh and while the cost of everything is rising for 2 meals we didn't break the bank. I love the new seasonal menus of carne asada tacos and different juices. The one thing I always enjoy at First watch are the potatoes...I cold order them solo as my meal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection.

I had the Tangerine Dream drink... wow! It's like a creamsicle!! So yummy!!! Then I ordered the cheesecake holey donuts with Nutella... so yummy! And for the main dish I had the half havarty and chicken chop salad. That was perfect with gluten free toast! ;) my waitress Kensley was awesome ! Definitely worth coming for early brunch!! :)

If you're looking for a healthier breakfast and lunch choice, this is a good place to come. There's lots of open seating inside along with a few tables outside. There is music playing overhead, but the acoustics make it hard to hear with all the conversations going on. You can get their multigrain pancakes, waffles or French toast and I like the fact that they do offer pure maple syrup, but it is an added cost. We skipped the coffee and got here closer to lunchtime, but still went with the traditional breakfasts. The pancake is large and fluffy, but my ham steak was thin and tough. Overall, it's a decent breakfast for the money and many of the ingredients are fresh. When it's time to settle up, you can pay at the table with a QR code or check out the traditional way where the tip screen will be waiting.

My wife had an early medical appointment and afterwards we were hungry for breakfast. Yelp said First Watch was just 4 minutes away and we saw it had good reviews so we went there. Good call! Excellent, prompt and polite service. Our breakfast was outstanding. My wife got the waffle trifecta (waffle, 2 eggs, bacon) and I got the blueberry pancakes trifecta. I had delicious fresh squeezed oj and my wife had a refreshing non alcohol lemonade drink called the Blazing Dragon. The coffee was really good. We payed extra for 100% maple syrup which was worth it in an individual glass bottle. Our breakfast also came w delicious blueberry syrup. Really fine breakfast! We left happy. Oh, the layout is really nice, lots of space and natural light. And an outdoor space too.

The food here is consistently good. And the service is wonderful too! We have tried quite a few things on the menu and have not been disappointed (other than the potatoes being a tad bit too salty for my liking). This is a pretty popular location with long wait times so be sure to get on the waitlist online. Great brunch & lunch options!

I really wanted to enjoy this visit, especially since I've had great experiences at another location in a different state. I brought my partner here hoping for the same quality, but unfortunately our meal fell short in several ways. We ordered two Tri-Fecta plates with the chicken apple sausage patties, and almost every item had an issue. I had asked for over-easy eggs, but they came out closer to medium. When I got to the plain pancakes, I noticed some slight discoloration that reminded me of mold, which made me stop eating them altogether. Both my partner's chicken sausage patties and Belgian waffle were lukewarm. By the time our server came back around, we had already finished a majority of the food and didn't want to disrupt the flow of service, so we didn't say anything in the moment. Overall, I was disappointed, especially given the great experience I've had at another location. Hopefully this review can call to attention the quality of food to be served even if the place is busy.

Last week, I came here for a late breakfast with a companion to try the summer menu. Just like any other visit to this location, upon arrival, there was a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table. Blueberry Lemon Cornbread This dish is not like the typical Southern Buttermilk Cornbread. It's lighter, more cake-like but not too sweet. Cornbread purists will most likely hate it because of the addition of berries and the tart lightly whipped lemon butter. This cornbread appears to be more flour than cornmeal as it has a lighter texture than a standard cornbread. This is a dish that can serve as a breakfast side/main or as a dessert. Carnitas Breakfast Quesadilla These carnitas quesadillas have layers of flavor stuffed with slow-cooked pork infused with Mexican spices and citrus and fluffy eggs in between large crispy cheese-crusted wheat tortilla shells. Although the ingredients of this dish tend to skew 'heavy', dish is fairly light as there is more egg in the quesadillas than anything else. However, the highlight of this dish for me is that it is protein-packed, which will certainly fuel you throughout the day. The black beans that accompanied this dish lacked flavor and were a bit of a letdown for me. Spiked Watermelon Wake up Everyone loves a cocktail that is crisp, refreshing, and oh-so-delicious. Watermelon mint and a splash of vodka is like that friend you're always happy to see. It brings good vibes to an occasion. The best part of sipping this cocktail? It delivers a light fruity flavor without that overpowering syrupy after-taste from cocktail recipes made with high-sugar mixes. It should be noted that this cocktail is pre-made. Therefore, additions of sprits can't be added to this beverage (for those of us who like extra shots). Overall, this new summer menu is worth a visit to your nearest First Watch location!

I am a big fan of First Watch, but this particular location didn't quite live up to the experience I'm used to. The energy at pickup was unwelcoming, and the food was very mid -- especially the bread, which was hard. I've had much better experiences at the Georgetown location.

Really underwhelming experience. I had avoided going here because I LOVE a breakfast place up the road, but my guest wanted to try First Watch as she's been to another location before. Their online waitlist option was probably the best part of the experience. While our waitress was nice, she managed to spill an entire bloody mary on my guest's leg and brand new designer, cloth shoes. While I totally understand accidents happen - I'm flabbergasted that nothing was done to rectify the situation. We should've gotten up to leave - but we were in shock. We ordered, and were later served the coldest breakfast plates I've ever had. I had the classic benedict - the hollandaise was okay, but the ham was cold, as were the eggs (how?!). My guest ordered the hash and while some of the flavors were good, it was all cold. The space itself is pretty lackluster, too. Overall a very, very disappointing and underwhelming experience. I would suggest going up the road to another breakfast spot that never misses.

Went here on a non-busy Friday. Service was excellent! The ambiance was great, buuuuuuut the food was mid. Lack luster. The potatoes were COLD . The eggs were nothing special. It just was not what I was expecting at all. The French toast was also not sweet or anything special. I love breakfast diners, and I'm usually pretty nice with my reviews, I just needed more from a nice restaurant that I've heard good things about.

So if you want to get 3 appetizers for yourself you have to buy 3 drinks or else it's full price. Only one happy hour appetizer price per $3+ beverage. Very weird. I've never heard of a stipulation to get a happy hour appetizer price The overall layout of this restaurant is excellent. I can see it hopping on Sunday afternoons for NFL games and Saturdays in the fall for college football games. It was very empty on a Tuesday night but most places are slow Monday through Wednesday. I hope the place can get it together with their service, logical reasoning, and implement some more common sense and hire more assertive employees and managers. It could be a mainstay in the area with better management and training. No WiFi either and poor mobile data service in this area, so wasn't able to post this review until I got on the road.
