I've been to this First Watch several times. When it's busy, it can be somewhat noisy but I've don't recall this being interruptive. Food choices are varied and generally tasty. My one on-going criticism is that food is routinely not hot, room temp at best. I always enjoy coming to First Watch. It has a great breakfast menu and I have not had a bad meal so far at any of the branches I've dined, including this morning on Whitestone in Cedar Park. Lori was my server and she was very nice even though she was busy. She gave me a menu. Got me a cup of coffee and a glass of water. Then took my order. I ordered the Italian Omelet. It was served with a small salad of greens and multi-grain toast. The strawberry jam was yummy. A delicious meal brought with a nice smile. If you haven't had First Watch, I recommend you do, sooner than later. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy, I sure do! read more

Super busy on a Sunday morning . Worth using the First Watch app to see the wait times and updates to "Get in Line" thru the app. We were seated right away because we had used the Get in Line. First visit to this location. Server came over relatively quickly. Restaurant was very busy and took awhile to receive the food after we ordered (15-20 minutes). Poached eggs were very overdone - parts almost hard boiled on both entrees. Have had this same experience at the Georgetown location. Reluctantly flagged down server who offered to replace them. First two replacements were also very overcooked and delivery (another 10 minutes) when we were more than halfway thru our breakfast. Last 2 replacement eggs (6-8 minutes later) were done perfectly but when we were about finished eating. Disappointed about timing but not sure if it was kitchen alone or our server's issue. A Benedict without the.eggs is a miss. Will return to this location again since the rest of the entree components were very tasty. This is the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. 15 min no acknowledging. Had to ask if we had a waitress. Manager finally assigned someone to us , then we had to wait an hour for our food. Food was cold, coffee tasted like it came from a cardboard box. I will never come here again and definitely won't recommend to family or friends. read more

First Watch is always good. I have eaten here (and at a location in PA when I visit family) more than 30 times. The Cedar Park location is often busy, but they seem to get folks through in a pretty timely manner. The staff is friendly and folks wanting to have FW Door Dash/Uber Eats/Take out , they have a good set up for the drivers to pick up your food. Some of our go-tos and favorites: Waffles French Toast Avocado Toast Ham and Cheese omelette Roast beef sandwich Million Dollar Bacon!!!! I don't normally order pancakes at a restaurant since I can make really great pancakes at home. However, when I saw lemon ricotta pancakes on the menu, I had to try them. No regrets; the ricotta added a great richness and tang to the cakes and the lemon had just the right zip. I debated whether to add syrup, but it did add to the dish. BTW, the syrup comes warm in a dispenser like an olive oil bottle. I was told that they were known for the "million dollar bacon" and this was great too. Good, smoky flavor, a bit of heat (but not too much), and a honey drizzle all combined to make a really great flavor. The good part of the service was that they put a carafe of coffee on the table before we even asked. On the other hand, it took a few requests and 20 minutes to get water. Creamers for the coffee? We're out of the non-flavored ones, but I'll get you some fresh from the kitchen. Flagged down someone else a reminder and 15 minutes later, and somehow they had creamers. The last we saw her was when she said I have your bill when you're done. Was it because we were there on a Sunday morning? Was this a new person? We'll be back for the food, and hope for better service. The noise level was a bit much, but that might be the Sunday morning effect. Do try it; overall, a good experience. read more

I have no idea what the hype is about or why there was a wait for a half empty restaurant. Met some friends for breakfast. One ordered the pumpkin pancakes. Small, expensive and according to friend, nothing special. I requested 3 fresh eggs scrambled with ham and gryuere. I specifically requested fresh eggs not the prescrambled egg mix, which my waitress said was no problem. I received cold egg mix with unmelted cheese and some ham. As a frequent customer to this place, it is sad to see the quality consistently dropping in this place . We went here on a Saturday for breakfast . The line was fairly moderate considering that this is the only highly valued breakfast place in the area (although snooze is coming up in the next few weeks). We love the food and the ambiance here but recently started noticing a drop in the food quality . The market skillet hash was supposed to have some veggies and ours hardly had any except some raw spinach and tiny bit of mushrooms, and the potatoes dominate the dish . We wish they could add more veggies to the dish without adding a ton of potatoes. The waiter did not even ask what kind of bread we wanted and we didn't know it included bread until the dish came out and wish we had known so we could have ordered gluten free . The new blackberry lemon cream French toast was good but a bit on the soggy side . The worst part was that we ordered a side of potatoes and it came with bits of bacon on it (not supposed to be on the dish) and one of us is vegetarian and we couldn't eat it. Crazy long wait on the weekend so it's best to get your place in line via their website. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was great. We waited roughly 35 minutes for our food to come so from our arrival at the restaurant to when we actually ate was about an hour and a half. Was it worth the wait? Simple answer yes! Worst experience in a restaurant ever!! Poor customer service- My guest and I waited a long time on patio to put our order in when I finally had to get up and find our waitress. After signaling her, she let me know she was putting in another order and would come back to our table. She NEVER DID. After getting up a second time, I witnessed her taking another order inside rather than ours. (Patio) I requested to speak with the manager but instead we were sent another waitress who was very apologetic as she took our order. When our order was delivered, she stated that she hoped it wouldn't upset us but "the manager" said we had only been there for 4 minutes?! "Who's the manager?". "Where is the manager?". For a second time, I requested to speak with the manager. By this time I preferred to leave but had a guest with me. The manager finally approached our table and was very RUDE, UNAPOLOGETIC and full of EXCUSES and ACCUSATIONS?! No guest anywhere should EVER be treated in the manner we were. I leave "NO STARS" for poor customer service and very Rude Management. There is nothing a business can do to make up for that. read more

I have been to First Watch several times, although this is my first time reviewing it. Their food is very tasty and never disappoints! They have many seasonal ingredients and specials throughout the year. Their french toast and skillet hash are my personal favorites and are served season-round. One complaint I do have from my last visit was there was no prices on the menu when you scanned the barcode (during COVID so this is how they ask you to view their menu). I was able to look up the menu prices on yelp, but I do wish they would have included that on their scannable version. Overall, this is a great contender if you are looking for a brunch place. Starting to fall apart at the seams. Love your online wait list, Servers are always super nice. But I'm starting to see a breakdown, that I normally see at Denny's. Menus - Time to reprint them. Paper menus, though classy stain easily. All four menus had some strange stains. Not an appealing aspect when I first sit down to order. Coffee pot - mine had coffee dripping down the sides of the stainless steel carafe from the refill. A simple wipe down before serving would have cured this. Inside - it was 1:27pm when we arrived and you close within the hour. Sweeping around a customer while they eat, and so many dirty tables is not the experience I want to remember while eating. Food - I ordered the traditional breakfast. Scrambled Eggs, runny. My wife thought it was melted jack cheese on top. I ordered crispy bacon. 2 out of 4 slices were crispy. When I mentioned it to the server...she said it's always a mix. But I Didn't order mixed bacon. I order my toast extra toasty, it was barely warm and cooked on only one side. We tried to go to First watch many times, but we always gave up due to the long lines. This time, I decided to go for it. Although I got in line online and it said it was a 45min-1h wait, the text message said that I should head to the front desk to actually go in line. This is ridiculous and doesn't make any sense! However, we were lucky this time, as it was just the 2 of us and were seated in about 10 min or less. Elif, our server, was really nice and helpful. Hubby went with the omelette and I went with the traditional. Everything was good and the portions were big. I just wish they had more gluten free items on the menu. I had the tri-athlete which is a egg whites, onions and mushrooms withe very good pico , fresh fruit, and very yummy whole grain toast. My companion had a big biscuit with turkey sausage gravy, two eggs, and country potatoes. His was excellent as well. My god. This place was EXCELLENT. We showed up on a Saturday morning without knowing we should have put ourselves on the wait list. And despite being quite busy, they manged to get us to a 2-top in about 15 minutes instead of the 45-60 minutes we'd been prepared for. The host very kindly brought us out coffee in to-go cups (with plenty of creamer and sweetener options) to enjoy while we waited. The staff was friendly, attentive, accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere, appearance and vibe of the restaurant is fantastic, welcoming and laid back. The food and drink are top-notch, truly excellent. We both ordered off of the holiday menu (available thru sometime in January). We had a cinnamon toast cereal milk (with rum) which was served in these cute jars, with cinnamon sticks, and was truly yummy. My friend had the million dollar breakfast sandwich (drooooool), and I had the short rib hash poutine, which was divine. They were both a symphony of flavor and texture. Tried the New First Watch for breakfast this morning. Tuesday morning was void of any wait line. Actually only four tables with customers, considering there were four waitresses service should be great. Seated at a booth with a coffee cup and glass already placed, only had a minute to peruse the menu when a waitress came over to ask if I'd like coffee. After I said yes, she poured the coffee and left the pot then asked if I know what I want. I asked for a minute. Well, she gave me ten. I ordered the Healthy Turkey Omelet and asked for a glass of water. Five minutes later she brings me a quart of water, seriously. Yeah, it's nice to get water but it's wasteful when I only needed a glass. Waiting for my food gave me time to look around. Very industrial décor. I was on a wooden bench in a booth. Surprisingly not uncomfortable. Metal duct work was above, which doesn't make a quiet atmosphere. They have an outside patio area with a cornhole set. Also during that time two tables left but two more were sat. After fifteen minutes my omelet is served. Decent size with oatmeal toast? it had oats on the outside, plus three slices of tomato for garnish. I move the tomatoes onto a pile and push it off to the side. Sorry, not a fan of tomatoes for breakfast unless they are diced in am omelet. I cut up half the omelet and take the first bite. Bland. Oh, the omelet had diced turkey, onions, spinach, feta cheese and a couple diced tomatoes. I immediately add salt and pepper. Now I taste salt and pepper, how hard is it to add a little garlic or herbs to contribute to the flavor. Wish they cooked the onions more as they were not tender. The toast came out pre-buttered. I spread the preserve on it. Interesting eating it as periodically I was crunching into the uncooked oats on the crust. Oh, I forgot about the coffee. It was very bitter that I added Stevia, actually had to add 2 Stevia to kill the bitterness. I wonder why they call it Healthy as the sodium and sugar levels were high only fat level was low. All of this for $14.39, yes, it is too much for the experience. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

Decided I needed to come on a weekday morning when the crowds would be reduced. Visited on a Tuesday morning and they were busy, but no waiting. They have a great deal of very healthy items on the menu, but I was craving biscuits & gravy, so I ordered the delicious Biscuits with Turkey Sausage Gravy with 2 scrambled eggs and seasoned potatoes. I've been a fan since I lived by Lakeline Mall and First watch was walking distance from where I lived. So glad that this branch opened up so near my house now that we moved this way. This location is huge and so nice, as usual. We love the decor and the food. We leave here full with no guilt that you ate crappy food. Their pancakes are huge and I could only eat one. Eggs are cage-free and delicious bread and compote. The wait could be long so plan accordingly! read more
