There were approximately six parties in the entire restaurant and my drink went dry a couple times. We ordered the simplest things on the menu and while they were good, I just feel like they need to stop hiring kids that just don or get service. The food is good when it comes out, but asking if things are ok and walking away before getting an answer is not good. This is my 5th time here, and this is the only complaint I have. I stopped by for dinner and grabbed a cozy spot by the fireplace, which was definitely a highlight. We ordered the rib plate and nachos, but unfortunately both missed the mark. The nachos seemed like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp, the cheese was hard and clumpy, and the toppings were pretty sparse compared to the mountain of chips. The ribs were overcooked, so we swapped them out for chicken tenders. The star of the meal? The fried pickles, crispy, flavorful, and easily the best thing we ordered. Went to dinner here with friends and had a pretty mixed experience overall. We started with the gringo dip, fried mushrooms, and cheese sticks. The dip was definitely a standout--super flavorful and something I'd absolutely order again. The cheese sticks were also solid and hit the spot. Unfortunately, the fried mushrooms didn't impress. While they were large in size, they weren't cooked long enough and ended up being cold and a bit raw on the inside, which made them hard to enjoy. For mains, my husband ordered the avocado burger. It was cooked well, but the amount of avocado was pretty underwhelming. I went with the fried shrimp, which I really enjoyed, and the tartar sauce was a nice complement. On the positive side, the service was great--attentive without being overbearing, and we didn't experience any delays with our food. The server we had was attentive and tried his best to battle the volume of the restaurant and ensure everyone had what they need. He even acknowledged and allow our grandson to order for himself and ensured the order was right for his meal. Drinks were fresh and tasty. Food was out of this world and the portions were huge - so much I had lunch for another day and was perfect when reheated. The prices were wallet friendly as well for the value of everything. The busser who dropped off the food called me "boss" 2 different times (hate that). Weird pricing structure. They have a late night happy hour on appetizers that are discounted a few bucks each. Example - normal price of $12 and happy hour price of $9. To get them for the $9 price you have to spend a minimum of $3 in beverages, PER APPETIZER you order lol. So bizarre. So if you want to get 3 appetizers for yourself you have to buy 3 drinks or else it's full price. Only one happy hour appetizer price per $3+ beverage. Very weird. I've never heard of a stipulation to get a happy hour appetizer price The overall layout of this restaurant is excellent. I can see it hopping on Sunday afternoons for NFL games and Saturdays in the fall for college football games. It was very empty on a Tuesday night but most places are slow Monday through Wednesday. I hope the place can get it together with their service, logical reasoning, and implement some more common sense and hire more assertive employees and managers. Am I in a Las Vegas sports bar? Or maybe a bar adjacent to the tourist trap, Graceland? No disrespect intended, but this place is ginormous and would fit right in by Graceland or Vegas. That is not my jam. I was meeting a Meetup group here, otherwise I would have chosen a quieter place. With all that said, the service was good, the margarita was Texas-sized, and prices were reasonable. I had a chicken quesadilla from the HH menu; it was tasty. There's a lot going on here. Came here for happy hour with some friends a couple of times and honestly I can't get enough of their prime rib French dip sandwich. It is so soft and juicy, and pair it with an old fashioned or an Electric Jellyfish, it's a guaranteed good time. Five Four is a fairly new sports bar and restaurant in the CP. We recently stopped by for a late lunch and our experience was OK not great. If it wasn't for Tasha this would have been a 2 star at best. 5 - 4 has a lot of potential but there is room for improvement. Service is friendly and professional. Tasha went above and beyond to help resolve our issue. Wife ordered a burger well done and 20 plus minutes later it arrived bleeding raw. It was send back and it was Comped Second attempt it arrived just above med rare. Plus one just ate the edges and left the middle for me. It ain't that hard to burn a burger guys heck I've done it a few times myself. Tasha again stepped up with a gift certificate to try them again and we will. Also no WiFi in a sports bar? No draft beer list either. I asked for 2 beers based on the tap logo and was told it awas another beer. You have two long rows of taps please list what you have. It was really bland. I added some lime to give it some taste. The 'happy hour' Long Island Iced Tea was delicious. I'll probably return to try something else on the menu. Honestly had no idea what to expect with this new addition as I'm not familiar with this smaller regional restaurant chain- But happy to say I was surprised by how good it was. We went with a larger group and this restaurant is quite large- With different areas themed to the dining mood you're looking for. A more formal dining area, a sports bar area and a more fast casual area is how I'd describe it. The service was impeccable and we were informed it was happy hour- so we grabbed a little of everything. We had the waffle fries with the tangy gringo dip, egg rolls, a really good smash burger and some of the best sangria we've had in a while. It was amazing for the price, seriously. And for entrees we had the filet mignon which was cooked perfect, a chicken fried steak and a Thai noodles salad with peanuts. The menu is expansive but not overwhelming and the food was all solid, so it's great with groups as there's something for everyone. The interior has some really fun touches. Its not generic by any means, and has touches of personality scattered throughout which is refreshing (out with the beige and boring!). In addition it had a heavy duty sports bar area- Complete with a virtual golf driving range, a bocce court and pickleball courts. Overall was left very impressed- This type of restaurant was sorely needed in Cedar Park and this place will fill that void nicely. Comparable to a Jack Allen or Moonshine restaurant. read more

First visit. Arrived around 4:40 p.m. on a Saturday, and wait was already about an hour wait time (busy, not slow). Got chips with salsa and queso, that were really good. A unique recipe for the queso (good unique good). My wife guessed that it might be the pepperjack cheese they used. I had a Prime French Dip with some horseradish sauce. They even ask "pink or no pink" on the meat. I ordered "no pink" and it was perfect. Au Jus was perfect. I got seasoned fries with it. They were hot and fresh. My only tiny wish is that they were proper double cooked fresh home made fries. They were good, but that would have moved it up a peg. My wife had some sort of Cobb Salad that she said was very fresh and done just right. We believe it is called a Chicken Club Salad. Ambiance is a little nicer than BJ's. Maybe similar level to The Yardhouse at the Domain. Everything was on point. We will be back soon read more

New Place in Cedar Park. We showed up around 4:30 and were seated immediately. Pretty much right after that they were on a wait. It was hopping in there. Very busy! Our server Kennah was spot on with service. She made great suggestions for food choices and suggested we get the app so next time we get a free appetizer! Kept our drinks filled. We ordered the Gingo Dip & Chips for an appetizer. The chips came out pipping hot, the dip was medium warm, I sent it back to get it reheated while we waited for more chips. Came out the same temperature. We brought it home to eat so we can get the temp up. All the other food that was served came out pipping hot. Perfect in my book. If I can't see it steaming, it's cold. I ordered the Summer Chicken Salad - It was perfection! I asked for a taste of a couple dressings and it turns out the balsamic they suggests was the best choice. Hobby ordered the Blackened Salmon with Ancient Power Grains and Steamed Broccoli. He didn't prefer the sides but I loved them so both went into my salad. Lucky me!! My son ordered the Strawberry Lemonade and loved it, he also ordered the Bucatini Pasta - which is fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, broccoli, mushrooms,and asparagus. He really liked it. I thought the pasta noodles (oversized spaghetti noodles) were a little too undercooked for my taste buds, but I rarely order pasta at a restaurant anyway. Why, Diego... I really hate leaving bad reviews, but come on, guy what happened? I was trying to enjoy a rare and much-needed date night with my beautiful wife. And honestly, it started out great. We were seated promptly, ordered a couple of drinks, and even tried the gringo queso with waffle fries on our waiter's recommendation. That dish? Absolutely amazing. At that point, we were excited for what was to come. Our server checked in and gave us some time to decide on entrées. I went with the chicken fried chicken, and my wife ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings instead of fries. Our food came out in a timely manner and that's where the evening took a turn. The person who brought our food dropped it off and vanished. No condiments, no check-in, nothing. My wife's burger was dry and crying out for something ranch, ketchup, anything. She couldn't even start eating. And the onion rings? Great, but not without a dip. We sat there for 15 minutes with no follow-up. All the while, we watched our waiter spend more time helping tables that weren't even his, while we were left completely forgotten. By the time someone finally returned with the condiments, our food was cold and the mood had totally shifted. To make things worse, there was no manager in sight no one doing table checks, no one to speak to. Just a restaurant on autopilot. For what it's worth, my chicken fried chicken was okay could've used some hot sauce, but I didn't dare ask. The mashed potatoes had a strange flavor and were barely warm, but again, what's the point of complaining when there's no one to complain to? We had planned to end the night with dessert, but at that point, we were just ready to leave. Honestly, we almost walked out before it even hit the table. I genuinely hate writing reviews like this, but tonight's service was downright awful. Thanks for turning what started as a promising night into a disappointing one. I rarely write negative reviews, but this place deserves it. We've been in 6 times since they opened. Let me lay out the positives first: the bar is large, it's a great concept and could have done really well up here, and - a positive for us - there will not be a 7th time visiting. The bar is large and PERFECT for up here....however, there is no WiFi (how do you not know that your HH crowd primarily works from home and wants to finish out their day having a beer or 2?), the staff NEVER knows what's on tap, the staff forgets that they took your order (happened 4/6 times we've been and once we were 2 of ~10 people in the bar area at 2pm) and are either rude or too busy chatting with one another that the whole bar needs to be bussed or refilled. What a bummer! I can't speak to the food because the 3 times we've ordered, they forgot to put it in or bring it altogether and had to remove it from the check. We did get offered a slice of a quesadilla (I think it was a quesadilla) from another patron the last time we were there when he overheard us talking about how terrible the service was again, but obviously we declined although it looked good. Maybe that's a plus? The only reason this place gets 2 stars is in hopes in goes out of business and something with better service goes in because the location and building is incredible! Such a shame because this is a place we would have spent a lot of time (and money) in had they just been able to deliver a draught beer. read more

I also opted for the $2 upgrade to filet mignon. Best steak I have had in a long time. No steak sauce needed. I fact that would have ruined it. The portion size isn't big. 7 Oz steak and 4 shrimp. Next time I will try the crab cake option. The service was excellent, prompt , attentive and friendly. Lots of big TVs for sports. Always fun to try out a new spot. On top of its extensive menu, 54th Street has a spacious bar area, outdoor patio seating, golf simulators, pickleball, and corn hole outside. The buffalo chicken salad was delicious, and we really enjoyed the queso and Paloma cocktail. A few service issues dampened the experience - we had a party of three but were seated at a table for two; food was given to the wrong table and a guest at that table immediately started eating it (I had to tell the server that he had eaten from it or she would have served it to my daughter). I do think the menu is a bit too large and wish the cookie with the kids menu was an actual cookie and not a packaged goldfish cookie. Visited on a Sunday and, despite a good-sized crowd, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with a huge bar separate from the main dining area. Plenty of TVs, cozy fire pits, and an awesome outdoor space with cornhole and other games perfect for hanging out. The bar is fully stocked with some great draft choices. We went for the 2 for $40 deal, which included an appetizer, two entrées, and a dessert such a great value! We had the tater kegs, the double smash burger, and the chicken avocado grill. Everything was delicious. Noticed someone nearby had wings, and they looked incredible definitely trying those next time! Service was excellent, rounding out a great experience. The best word to describe the experience was very mediocre. The place was packed, which is always a great sign, but taking into account it's still novel to the area. I will say the menu had a lot of good options from sandwiches, salads, pasta, and standard American dishes. Service was friendly, so that was a plus and not over the top even though it was busy we felt like we were checked on appropriately. The food was nothing to rave about unfortunately. The chicken fried steak was overly salted, and the portion was honestly just absurd. My friend who a summer salad, said it was fine but way too overloaded with dressing so she ate a third of it. The menu gives BJ Brewhouse vibes, a bit of everything. We started with the tater tots, which were amazing! I had the chicken fried chicken w mashed potatoes and the cheddar biscuit, alll of which were delicious. My daughter had the regular club and my hubs the Havana club. All were great! We all ordered drinks and I requested a spicy margarita (not on menu) and they killed it! So good!!! The atmosphere is nice a spacious with big tv's on the bar side to watch all the games. We didn't venture outside because it was raining, but they do have pickle ball courts and cornhole boards as well. The staff were all very nice but you can definitely tell some are new to the biz. I have faith they'll work out the kinks, it's a new spot. Since it just opened they are busy and parking is not fun, so be patient and get there early.
