We enjoyed our first experience here and will return. We stopped by on a weeknight. While the pickle ball courts were full, the restaurant was mostly empty. Didn't bother us - just got more attention from the staff! We ordered an Old Fashioned, adult grilled cheese, quesadilla and kids Mac n cheese. All three were delicious and I would gladly go back for more! The chef even came out and talked about his secret ingredient in the grilled cheese. The seating area, presentation and food quality were all well above what one would typically expect from the restaurant of a sporting place. And the views of people playing were great!

    Awesome looking HH!

I was travelling and missed the YEE here. I did read all the 5-star reviews from the distinguished Elites, so we were excited to try Pickledilly's. To quote my Yelp bud, "Run, don't walk, to get to Pickledilly's". I totally agree with their About Us description on their website: PickleDilly's is a scratch kitchen and bar tucked inside Apex Pickleball Club in Cedar Park -- but don't let the address fool you. This isn't club food. Executive Chef Ron Matty runs the kitchen the way it should be run: fresh ingredients, real technique, nothing out of a bag. Stocks simmered down from bones. Sauces built from scratch every morning. Bread, dressings, marinades -- all made in-house, every day. The menu reads simple. The execution is anything but. Our experience began with a perfect Bulleit Rye Whiskey Old Fashion and a craft Paloma. They do have a full bar and some righteous specialty cocktails. Beer drinkers, they have you covered with a wide selection of local craft beers. Our App was their golden-fried organic cauliflower florets. They were perfectly fried and dusted with herbed, seasoned breadcrumbs on a bed of tarragon aioli. My entree was their Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The chicken was served moist and perfectly jerky spiced. Plus 1 ordered their Short Rib Quesadilla. OMG!!! Braised short rib tortillas are served with poblano chili, cheese peppers, cheddar and jack cheese, jalapenos, pickle de gallo, and pickled veggies. The short ribs were braised to perfection, and the accompaniments just added to this delightful entree. Have I gushed enough? Almost! You have to check out their HH menu. Check out the photo. We are bringing the gang next time to experience this unbelievably great addition to the CP.

Yep, I came back for more. This place continues to deliver great experiences for me. Ordered beef sliders, fries, and chicken wings. All were delicious. The chicken wings were a new try this time. Juicy, flavorful, and big. 6 wings for $9 during their happy hour is reasonable. The quality is the best. Fast service and very little wait. There was only one other group there when I went. Friendly service that accommodated my requests. I'll be going back!

    D-Willy Mule awesome !

You don't have to be a member (or play pickleball) to come enjoy the offerings at this nice upstairs bar/eatery ..though the courts are amazingly soft and springy! My first visit was being invited to a "pickleball party" here where I was able to sample some of the offerings and a couple of my favorites were the crab cake bites and the lovely charcuterie board! The D-Willy Mule was my drink of choice ..very nice. Can't wait to come play and eat again!

    Raw boneless chicken wings

We were served raw chicken with the boneless buffalo wings. We asked to speak to the manager who didn't come over right away. He was at the bar. We let him know that we had both eaten a few pieces before I had to spit out the 3rd piece once I realized it was raw. He said "well it comes frozen so it should be ok." We told him it is still completely raw. Very disappointed. It was our first time and we so wanted to like this place. We will not be back. We are both nervous we are going to get super sick.

Shrimp Cocktail and Margarita hands down the best combo after playing pickleball Food A+ Atmosphere in the building is outstanding But really the service from the staff was the game changer. It was so welcoming and amazing! Great Job

chicken and hamburger sliders, brussels sprouts and Parmesan fries
    Candy W.

Food and service was top notch !! Went upstairs to eat after enjoying 2 hours of pickleball. We enjoyed crispy chicken and burger sliders, parmesan fries with pickle ketchup some deliciously crisp Brussel sprouts seasoned just right. We tried a few desserts and all were delicious. (really loved the espresso crème brûlée ) The drinks were on point and there was something for everyone. Definitely nice to know that you can come in and eat even if you're not playing pickle ball definitely not JUST run of the mill bar food! well done Pickledilly's

The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. They always make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of, and it honestly feels like visiting friends every time we walk through the door. Restaurants with great food are everywhere. Restaurants with genuinely wonderful people are rare. Jack Allen's is one of those rare places, and we're incredibly grateful for the amazing team there.

We started off with the queso and guacamole. They queso was delicious and while the guacamole was fresh it needed some salt. For my meal I got the special which was the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It was flavorful and cooked correctly. My only recommendation would have been to give some more sauce for the meatloaf. My husband got the fried pork chop and said it was cooked perfectly and that the gravy was delicious. Overall, an enjoyable meal and we would return.

Aric kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and was quite accomodating and didn't mind us ladies being moved into an inside table. The food was surprisingly served fast despite the restaurant focusing mainly on their wedding party guests from their patio. For dinner, I shared bruschetta. Ordered bruschetta for my dinner. Italian Sausage, Roasted Red Pepper, and Goat Cheese Bruschetta; For my 2nd bruschetta: Apple, Fig, Chutney & Brie Bruschetta. My third Bruschetta was House Smoked Salmon and Herbed Cream Cheese Bruschetta. Thankfully, they DON'T skimp out on their ingredients on top of their bruschetta!! Besides the bruschetta, my friend Tina offered me a slice of her Mediterranean Pizza. Thanks so much for the top notch quality food and service!!! My friends had glasses of white wine and I tried their holiday gin cocktail which was perfect for me as it was not too sweet. The server helped guide me to that drink choice. My friends had bruschetta, tuna salad, and grilled cheese with soup. We were able to walk in and easily get a table for 4 as it wasn't too busy. However, it started to fill up and it seemed like our server had many other tables because we wouldn't see her for a while and had to wait a bit for some follow up items. Overall a consistent, good time, and they can do separate checks which is great for a party of friends ordering different things!

First, we were told they were out of avocado egg rolls and all three pork chop dinners. Then when we arrived, we were told again the egg rolls were gone -- so we swapped for mozzarella sticks. Plot twist: the waitress brings out a bag with both the egg rolls and the mozzarella sticks. Another plot twist: none of our dinners were in the bag. Had to show the order and the $142 charge to get everything sorted. Final twist of the night? We got home and the mozzarella sticks were completely hollow. Not a drop of cheese. Just sadness wrapped in breading. Our waitress was the hero of the story -- friendly, helpful, and doing her best. The kitchen and communication, though, were all over the place.

This is why the restaurant has two stars and not 1. The pizza slices are huge! I was pretty impressed when it appeared. However, my cheese slice did not have cheese Co the whole slice (see the pic). Also, parts of the slice had the cheese cooked too well. I liked the crust, but seeing as it didn't taste like a nice cheesy slice, it was a fail. The chips and queso tasted like Velveeta with boring chips. My companion actually thought the chips were stale. Our server was willing to exchange this cheese dip (it could not be classified as queso) with salsa, but even that was barely passable. We did not eat this appetizer. The only saving grace is that it was Margarita Monday and it was half price. The salad was disappointing as well. I don't know what it was, but it tasted off. I liked the cheese and olives, but it didn't taste right. Cups are fully recyclable, which is nice, but each refill comes with another cup, not a refill to the cup you are using. Unless they are actually recycling them or customers take them home to recycle, this is a huge waste. My companion had two refills, so he left 3 cups. While this saves dishwashing, it seems wasteful. Overall, this was a major disappointment.
