chicken and hamburger sliders, brussels sprouts and Parmesan fries
    Candy W.

Food and service was top notch !! Went upstairs to eat after enjoying 2 hours of pickleball. We enjoyed crispy chicken and burger sliders, parmesan fries with pickle ketchup some deliciously crisp Brussel sprouts seasoned just right. We tried a few desserts and all were delicious. (really loved the espresso crème brûlée ) The drinks were on point and there was something for everyone. Definitely nice to know that you can come in and eat even if you're not playing pickle ball definitely not JUST run of the mill bar food! well done Pickledilly's

So I was bit hesitant to go to JA just for drinks, but was not in a mood do drive for proper cocktail bars, so went to JA, seated outside and our Deborah was do nice and understanding, gave us exceptional service even though we were there just for couple of drinks and pimento cheese and crackers, even at 9pm she was so full of energy, welcoming, and attentive, Thankyou Deborah!!

The baptism by home cooked Texas dishes are exactly what you want when eating locally sourced food. Once you are seated you start with the pimiento cheese and flatbread cracker, even if you don't like pimiento cheese just have amnesia for one meal and let your tastebuds decide. Paired nicely with a round of fried green tomatoes and a local brew, it's how Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston would have wanted it. Main course dishes that span the eclectic pallet that is at the very heart of Austin eating. I do not recommend anything over any other dish but I have had the Crab stuffed Chicken more times than I can count. If you close your eyes and throw a dart at the menu you will be satisfied and have a new favorite at the top of your dinner list. Wind down your meal with a decadent piece of caramel apple bourbon cobbler, perhaps to go? You're sleeping like a baby and talking about your meal the next day! If you have family visiting and want to show off take them to Sunday brunch. It's served family style and is a homerun everytime! Trust! Absolutely fantastic food! If you haven't eaten here I question what you're doing with your life. Your priorities are off!

Aric kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and was quite accomodating and didn't mind us ladies being moved into an inside table. Plus, I didn't want to deal with the typical muggy weather anymore. I ordered a frozen Benny Bellini - Peach Bellini to help support a worker who has cancer. The food was surprisingly served fast despite the restaurant focusing mainly on their wedding party guests from their patio. For dinner, I shared bruschetta. Ordered bruschetta for my dinner. Italian Sausage, Roasted Red Pepper, and Goat Cheese Bruschetta; For my 2nd bruschetta: Apple, Fig, Chutney & Brie Bruschetta. My third Bruschetta was House Smoked Salmon and Herbed Cream Cheese Bruschetta. Thankfully, they DON'T skimp out on their ingredients on top of their bruschetta!! Besides the bruschetta, my friend Tina offered me a slice of her Mediterranean Pizza. Thanks so much for the top notch quality food and service!!! Also, thanks so much for checking me into my reservation at Open Table so I can ensure I get more points to maintain my status.

My friends had glasses of white wine and I tried their holiday gin cocktail which was perfect for me as it was not too sweet. The server helped guide me to that drink choice. My friends had bruschetta, tuna salad, and grilled cheese with soup. We were able to walk in and easily get a table for 4 as it wasn't too busy. However, it started to fill up and it seemed like our server had many other tables because we wouldn't see her for a while and had to wait a bit for some follow up items. Overall a consistent, good time, and they can do separate checks which is great for a party of friends ordering different things!
