We, unintentionally, came here on Valentine's Day for an early dinner. There is street parking all over the area and we parked right by the restaurant. We had our dog and were sat on the patio right away. It was a rainy day and they had plastic windows rolled down. There were heaters outside, but it wasn't cold enough to have them on. We started with the deviled eggs. I got lemon pepper wings and my wife got hot wings. We got a shareable size of tater tots. My wings were great. My wife's wings were too hot for her (not that hot). The tots were good, but way too many for two people

Finley's absolutely nails it. The wings are hands down the best in town--no debate, no close second. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and consistently on point every single time. If you're a wing person, this place is non-negotiable. The bar is just as solid: great atmosphere, well-made drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. What really seals the deal though is the customer service--top notch across the board. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Finley's is the kind of spot that gets everything right and keeps you coming back. Highly recommend.

Sweet heat burger with steak fries tossed in Cajun dry rub.

Stopped in for lunch during a relief shift at a vet clinic. The sweet heat burger was more heat than sweet but it was delicious nonetheless. I also paid the extra $2 for steak fries and it was worth it. I love a good steak fry and theirs were excellent, especially with the Cajun dry rub on them. Would definitely visit again next time I'm in town!

I was hardcore craving a burger one night and my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We ordered pickup and our order was ready within 20ish minutes. Both my husband and I paid the $1 something surcharge to have our tots tossed in seasoning but I couldn't taste it. The tots weren't bad but they were just greasy and lightly salted which would have been fine but again we paid for an upgrade we didn't get. The burger I got was the western bacon and I honestly have no clue how you can perfectly cook a burger and bacon and add a lot of sauces and yet the burger has NO flavor(and before anyone asks no I did not have covid when I ate this). I wanted to love this but it was just so underwhelming. The Reuben would have been good if there was more meat in it. I'm not sure if it was a bad day or not because I had gone one time before and remember the food being good. Unsure if I would give them another shot as it came out to $20/pp.

Finley's for lunch. Excellent.

Love grabbing lunch and a beer at Finley's in RR. Smash burger with sweet potato fries is very good. Bacon grilled cheese with crispy tater tots also excellent. Nice atmosphere with professional friendly service. Drinks at the counter also recommended.

Smash burger and fries

Drinks, food and ambience were wonderful! We got an assortment of menu items for the table. I highly recommend getting the spicy ranch fries... it's a dry rub seasoning you can get on fries of tots. The Reuben was delicious and the smash burgers smashed. Mine was a little over sauces with mayo/mustard. But yet I ate every bite. The patties were seasoned to perfection... everything was fresh and yummy... we had a wonderful server Ronnie as well!

Decent dinner and drink selection in Round Rock. Both can be a bit pricey and the quality is good, but not top tier. I recommend it if you live nearby and are looking for something casual and reliable, but if you're just visiting there are better choices.

I truly enjoyed my evening here. I arrived to celebrate a friend's birthday with a large group of friends. The area outside is spacious, so despite taking up two tables, we barely made a dent into the seating out there. Additionally, the service at the bar was terrific. I found the bartenders to be friendly. My food order arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I was happy to see that they also had a good variety of ciders from which to select. Also, regarding the food, the portions were HUGE! Everyone had food left over, so for late arrivals we ended up sharing what we had left to satisfy their hunger! I ordered the BLT. There was a good serving of bacon on it and the bread was toasted just the right amount. The side of fries was fried well. They had a coating on them that was lightly seasoned. They were a great hit with everyone! The other meals my friends ordered were enjoyed. Finally, to share as table, we ordered an appetizer of tatter tots. They were crispy and tasty. Parking is very easy around the corner, up and down the street.

BYOB - Pretzel bun, mustard, pickles, bbq sauce, pepper jack, fried egg - Delicious !!!

5 Stars on food, relaxing atmosphere, but only 2 Stars on service which sucked. They are very disorganized on who waits on what table as it appears to be total chaos. We called two other servers to our table as our server kept walking by and not serving us. Other than that, it was a good experience. A little pricey, but we will be back again in the future.

Will def come back, food was great and the French fries were amazing. They make their ranch and the tartar sauce was delicious. The fish was perfectly fried and had a great crunch and flavor. The chicken sandwich was flavorful, and the bread was not too thick. Great atmosphere they even had great outside seating options. The service staff was so nice, can't wait to come back.

Brussel sprouts were amazing! The energy was great walking in and then it went down hill. The gentlemen forgot about my sweet tea until half way through the meal. I mentioned it then he brought me a unsweetened tea voicing he was going to take it off my ticket. I ordered 3 sauces to try and never got 2 of them. I mentioned that as well and never got them the whole meal. Then he voiced he'd also take that off the ticket. He offered dessert which thankfully I did not accept because I would have gotten charged for it just like everything else that was forgotten about. The place had 2 4 tops and the rest of the place was empty. Truly ruined an experience that started off so great. The restaurant has a nice patio and a romantic atmosphere inside.

Lettuce wrapped Burger of the month featuring bacon jam and pimento cheese with sweet potato fries and house sauce

Love this place! My wife and I have been many times before and are never disappointed. The menu changes monthly, though there are some staples. The food is always delicious and the service staff is super friendly. The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit after sunset and has great natural light during the day. There is lots of seating outside the bar area and there's a patio too. 10/10

Awesome BLt sandwiches on a hot day! I never would have thought food being good in a bar and daytime was nice as their dark lighting inside made it a more relaxing peaceful place to be. It was a hectic day for me and this was a great place for a quick bite! They give military discount! The service was nice as they're attentive with what we need! Clean, good value for your money and quite a sweet spot!

Whiskey Cake has been on my list of places to try…read more I was in Round Rock today, so today was the day! I entered in, and just to the left, a host greeted me in. I said this was my first time here, and that I was excited to try them. She was super polite, very friendly. She sat me at a booth. She walked away for a quick minute and came back with a water glass and a small pitcher of ice cold water. My server came around. And gave me my menu and said you gotta try the whiskey Cake. Cake? Did someone say cake? Yes please. With cake on my mind. I thought I better balance this out. So I played it safe and got the grilled chicken salad. Also she said everything is house made from scratch, such as the cocktails, juice, salad dressing and so on. I did order a juice from the bar. It was the Jessica Wabbit with mint, carrot, lime, ginger, and some other flavors. The drink was handed to me first. Lovely flavors, could taste the fresh mint, fresh ginger. A little sweetness with the pineapple. Brilliant mix of flavors. The salad was very large. Dressing was fresh, rich with basil and garlic. Chunks of bacon and wedges of hard boiled eggs, avocado chunks, blue cheese scattered around, and the grilled chicken, warm juicy and beautifully chard. Love that charred flavor. The salad dressing was really delectable. Wonderful salad. Next came the whiskey cake. This cake should be its own food group. The cake itself has a beautiful flavor, it's a little dense, in a good way. The sauce is outstanding, it's toffee and sweet. Heavenly really. Pecans on top are spiced. I could only eat half of the cake. I'll snack on that later tonight. The food was outstanding. I would love to come back and try other food items. Service was perfection. I had so many wonderful conversations with everyone I came in contact with. I was wished well by everyone I passed by. Even in the bathroom, the host was coming out and she asked how my visit was. I mean, just the most genuine southern hospitality. Top notch service! Parking lot was packed. And they do have a pretty large lot all around the building. So you know this has to be The Place for an afternoon lunch or family dinner.

The whiskey cake is probably this restaurant's saving grace as the cake is decadent moist, and the combination of the pecans with the caramel and the whipped cream all just make it so delicious. It was definitely worth the wait to have it at the end and in retrospect, it probably would have done well to have first since the food that we ordered was a little more on the lackluster side. I found it hard to be impressed by the prime rib and Gouda stack as they were no defining flavors for this rather expensive sandwich and the mac and cheese was also not very memorable. When it comes to the service provided at the restaurant, there were many times where it felt as though our table had been forgotten to be waited upon, despite there not being many other people at the restaurant. Overall, I think my experience at Whiskey Cake was OK and while I may not return for the food necessarily, I would for the cake.

This is a good place that shoots itself in the foot with klutzy self-representation…read more. They call themselves a virtual kitchen located within Urban Chicken. They are NOT a virtual kitchen - and it is just as well that they are not a virtual kitchen. They make it sound like Chronic Fries is borrowing space from Urban Chicken. Chronic Fries is not "borrowing space" from Urban Chicken. The two institutions are one and the same. The menu for one is printed on the back of the menu for other. They may have a complicated ownership structure - But that does not get around the fact that this is simply a fast food restaurant where you can order both chicken and fries. * * * I don't see why Chronic Fries would want to be a virtual kitchen. Virtual kitchens are awful antiseptic places where there is no place to sit down. In a virtual kitchen, you get your food from a numbered box. In a virtual kitchen, there is screen against a wall from which you order. Otherwise, you use your phone. It takes effort to make contact with a human being. Virtual Kitchens are total THX 1138. Virtual kitchens s**k. * * * Chronic Fries/Urban Chicken is a nifty place for a fast food restaurant. They have tons of seating both indoors and outdoors. The crowd is heavily college-age which may or may not be collegiate. The crowd is diverse the way Round Rock is diverse. The crowd has a lot of church kids the way Round Rock has a lot of church kids. My male companion and I were the oldest people in the place. Virtual kitchens don't have crowds - let alone young ones. * * * The fries are super-duper. (Okay, for a college aged place, I probably should have used a term less dated than "super-duper".) For the maximum french fry bliss experience, get any version with chicken on top. Some versions give you chicken automatically. All versions let you order chicken on top as an add-on. Urban Chicken does a good chicken And what goes on your French Fries will be top notch. We got three kinds of fries. The standout was the BBQ Mac and Cheese Fries. Hot Cheetos Fries were just what they sound like. The sides that don't have much Hot Cheetos on them are not all that interesting. You get to the part with industrial quantities of ground up Hot Cheetos on top and, Suddenly things start to go live action. Plain macaroni and cheese fries are not that exciting by themselves. But they sell about half a dozen sauces to put on top of your macaroni and cheese fries. Some of those look like they could make a real compelling argument That they belong on your fries If your toppings are not exotic enough already. * * * Just for the record, they also run a soft-serve operation. That soft-serve operation offers milk shakes as a possible beverage. Thumbs up on the soft serve milk shakes. Their version of an Oreo Milkshake has about a truckload of Oreo crumbs dumped on top. On a milkshake that means that the crumbs end up all on the bottom with your maraschino cherry. Why oh why, in the 21st century, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? Why oh why, in the 20th century, the 19th century, the 18th century or any century that you can possibly think of, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? The church kids eating at the various tables around you can probably explain to you that because Eve ate the Apple in the Garden of Eden - and Adam ate the apple too - that they were thrown out of the Garden of Eden - and forced to have maraschino cherries on top of their desserts. God's love and the Forgiveness of Jesus Christ gives you the really good Oreo Milkshake that surrounds that maraschino cherry. I have no idea if that theology is sound ... But the Oreo milkshake is objectively good And the difficulty of sucking up those Oreo crumbs with your straw Is the exact equivalent of attaining heaven merely by the force of good works. * * * First rate fries. First rate toppings. First rate drinks. A corporate office with an identity problem. And religious people to talk to in the seats If the fries inspire you to seek a higher way. * * * What's not to like? (Outside of the identity problem.)

Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.
