Hate to say it but this was a disappointment. The Jumbo wings are pretty embarrassing. First of all they had run out of buffalo hot and secondly the Jumbo wings were about what you would expect when ordering from Dominos. They didn't live up to the $24 price tag! I love supporting local restaurants but this one missed the mark. Our table also ordered the sausage and pretzels. The pretzels were really good but the sausage was really bad. Not sure hot you can over cook smoked sausage but they did it. The deviled eggs looked great but I would give them a solid 7. Nothing to write home about and would not recommend. We, unintentionally, came here on Valentine's Day for an early dinner. There is street parking all over the area and we parked right by the restaurant. I was hardcore craving a burger one night and my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We ordered pickup and our order was ready within 20ish minutes. Both my husband and I paid the $1 something surcharge to have our tots tossed in seasoning but I couldn't taste it. The tots weren't bad but they were just greasy and lightly salted which would have been fine but again we paid for an upgrade we didn't get. The burger I got was the western bacon and I honestly have no clue how you can perfectly cook a burger and bacon and add a lot of sauces and yet the burger has NO flavor(and before anyone asks no I did not have covid when I ate this). I wanted to love this but it was just so underwhelming. The Reuben would have been good if there was more meat in it. I truly enjoyed my evening here. I arrived to celebrate a friend's birthday with a large group of friends. Love this place! My wife and I have been many times before and are never disappointed. The menu changes monthly, though there are some staples. Brussel sprouts were amazing! The energy was great walking in and then it went down hill. The gentlemen forgot about my sweet tea until half way through the meal. I mentioned it then he brought me a unsweetened tea voicing he was going to take it off my ticket. I ordered 3 sauces to try and never got 2 of them. The service at this place has only gotten worse and worse this year, but last Saturday took the cake when I nearly lost my shit after our waiter decided to start dumping drinks out onto the ground in the courtyard directly behind my wife, splashing her with liquid and mud. Why the hell he's doing this on the ground in the courtyard instead of inside a sink somewhere, I do not know. All of that alcohol can't be good for those oak trees. It was just a careless and rude maneuver, and it sent me over the edge with this place. I didn't want to come back here, anyway, based on my prior experiences this past year (read my other review of Finley's for those details). Immediately after the drink splashing incident, we got up to leave - my wife's attempt to get me out of there before I really lost my cool - but not soon enough, because the waiter reappeared and I let him have it verbally, demanding he explain himself as to why he's dumping drinks on the ground and splashing people with them. The waiter's response? He tried to laugh it off, so when I asked why he thought the situation was so funny, he then tried to turn it around on me - as if I were the problem - stating that I was the one who came in with a bad attitude and that I should be the one to apologize to my wife for being in such a pissy mood. Maybe he was partly right on the account that I was in a mood, but I wasn't really sour until I saw they had once again jacked up the prices on nearly everything on the menu. $17.59 for a smash burger?! $20 for ten chicken wings?! Really? In the end, the waiter threatened to call the cops on me. Yep. I'm not sure what he was planning to tell the cops, exactly. It wasn't like I ever got in his face or physically threatened him in any way. I guess maybe he could tell the police, "This man chewed me out for repeatedly splashing his wife with drinks, and he's scary to me, officer, please arrest him!" We left, and it will be forever, never to return. So fuck you, Finley! Never met you in person, but you just lost two of your most loyal customers. Good going. But you know who will be visiting you soon? The WCCHD. And I can only hope you laugh at them like your waiter laughed at me. read more

For main dishes my friend did the soup of the day w a side salad and I did the sweet heat burger w a dry spice rub sprinkled on the tots as recommended by the waiter. The tots were by far my favorite thing aside from the queso. The burger was also a good burger, I only wish it actually had the sweet heat kick I was looking forward to but overall still a delicious burger. I wouldn't say the food is top-notch, but it does the trick if you're looking for somewhere to kick your feet up and enjoy a few drinks. The reason for my "lower than average" score is the service. We sat at a table outside for a good 15 minutes before anyone even came by to check on us. It wasn't terribly busy, so it seemed a little odd that we weren't seen sooner. We enjoyed a great lunch at Finley's upon arriving at Round Rock for our trip to Kalahari. They have a great outdoor area to sit outside, and it is covered. Another outdoor area that is shaded and has a bar. Restrooms are outside close to the seating area. Lots of street parking available and a lot of things to explore before and after. We sat inside, and the servers were very attentive. I ordered an omelet with brisket, Gouda, spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I love how many choices they have for their omelets. The omelet was perfectly cooked. The brisket was a little greasy and bland, so I would get a different meat next time, but everything else was delicious. I came into this location this past Monday (Labor Day) with another party during happy hour to get some light bites and a beverage. What I got: Fried Pickles I love deep-fried pickles because of their salty taste and crunchy breadcrumb coating. For those who have not had the experience of having these appetizers at the movies or at your local pub, they are similar to fried zucchini or fried green beans. However, these pickles were soggy and heavy with oil. Unfortunately, because of this, the vast majority of the pickles were left on the table. Boneless Chicken Wings I elected to go with the Peach Habanero wings. Although it is still blazing HOT outside, I thought by ordering these, I could trick my mind into thinking it is really fall as everybody knows that peach habanero wings officially kick off the first football Sunday. These wings offered a good combination of sweet with a mild kick, but the wings were limp. Aside from the two menu items, I ordered a house wino and a soft drink. The food here is less than stellar, but the service received was 5 star (hence the 20% tip I left). The interior is small, seating for less than 30. Outdoor seating looked amble but it's June so no outdoor seating for me this June. $10 kids meals. Burgers were good but the chicken wasn't edible. Stopped by for an after work Happy Hour and was thoroughly impressed! We went on a Thursday at about 3 pm, there were about 3 other tables and our server was very helpful with checking in and providing recommendations. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted for inside. We ordered the loaded fries, brussel sprouts, and fried pickles, all of which were only $10! The loaded fries were smothered in shredded cheese and house queso then topped with green onion. I'm really surprised to see such high reviews. Maybe today was an off day? I took my mom out to eat and we typically meet up in Round Rock or Georgetown. Today she picked Finleys because they had a dog friendly patio and wanted to bring her dog. I wish we had tried another restaurant instead. Since this was a "seat yourself" we originally chose a wooden picnic table in a corner. We didn't see any waiters/waitresses around so we moved to other side of the patio that was covered. A waiter arrived to take our drink order and we requested the table be cleaned. After receiving our drinks we noticed the waiter leaving the restaurant with 2 women. We assumed his shift ended and someone else would wait on us. After 10-15 minutes of waiting I walked inside to ask if someone was taking orders outside. Shortly after, our original waiter returned to take our order. I wanted the chicken and waffles, but they "ran out" of waffles. Are these pre-made waffles? I ended up getting the breakfast bruschetta. My order came out first which was very odd! I'm not sure why both of our orders didn't come out together. The breakfast bruschetta was horrorible. The bread was SO soggy, the egg and avocado had no flavor. Very sad dish! The avocado was a weird green. I'm not sure if it wasn't ripe or just mixed with something. My mom had the classic breakfast. We were a party of 6 (2 kids included) and around 6ish there wasn't much space inside for us to sit, so we sat outside where there were bench-like seating arrangements that could fit our party perfectly. It was still hot during this time, but the outdoor fans did help a little to keep air moving. Our server was nice and mostly attentive. We started with loaded French fries as an appetizer--they were delicious! Cheese was melted and the bacon on top was nice and crispy. I'm a big mac n cheese lover, so I asked our server if he would recommend a burger or the Brisket Mac n Cheese entree--he stated the Mac n cheese was the way to go, so I trusted his judgement. Unfortunately the dish was super bland, not much flavoring whatsoever. It was well-portioned, but it honestly didn't taste like anything. I added salt to it to at the least get some type of flavor. It was the same with the brisket pieces the dish had as well--not much seasoning/flavoring. I was very disappointed and will not order this dish again if I ever come back.
