I was really impressed by the food and the friendly atmosphere. I'd never heard of this place but a dear friend wanted me to try it with her. So glad we went! The menu is mostly salads, sandwiches and quiche. You can mix them up in two or three choices. I had the crab quiche with Cobb salad and strawberry congealed salad. All three were fantastic and came with your choice of three options. The crab quiche was the standout...loaded with crab and gooey cheese. I cleaned my plate! Servings were really generous. I really could have just ordered a two choice plate and been happy. Next time I probably will do that. Our waitress was a hoot and she was very patient with me as a first time customer. Today, a friend recommended this spot for light flare like sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. I stopped in a little after 2pm on a Wednesday, note that they close at 3. It reminds me of small grandma kitchen. Old timey down home vibe. I ordered take-out. I met here with 6 other ladies for lunch . Very cute place and I enjoyed the vintage decor. The service was adequate, but not outstanding. We had to ask & remind for a number of things. My husband and I love this quaint place in Georgetown! We have enjoyed all the foods they have to offer! The staff have been super nice and friendly! I know that the menu choices are not much but for what you can get everything has been delicious and tasty! Everything is made from scratch if you haven't been there yet it's a must try and on Monday's they have a mother-Daughter that play music with a harp and sing it's so nice! While exploring downtown we saw this cute sign from Laurie's Cafe that they were serving quiche and lemonade. Yes that caught our eyes. Sadly disappointed with the food, service and covid safety protocol. The quiche was so cheesy, the tomato soup was very salty and they even forgot the fries taters. The coconut pie was warm and tasted like jello. It was very strange. We sat outside and they forgot about us. Had to go inside for any requests. The staff wore their mask wrong such as the sever had her mask down her nose. The other staff behind the counter never wore a mask. Doesn't seem so hard to follow protocols read more

I work walking distance to the square & have eaten here before with co-workers so I thought it would be a place my 75 year old mother would enjoy. However, when I went today with my mom, sister & niece we received the worst service. Didn't catch the waitress name because she never introduced herself like most waitresses do & of course no name tags are worn here. She was a brunette with a few grays coming through wearing jeans & a peach colored long sleeve T-shirt. From the get go she had the attitude as if she did not feel like being at work today. Totally ignored our table & never once smiled, for someone who earns money by tips you have got to be a people person! She had a piss poor look on her face the whole time. When I got in line to pay she recognized another customer & I was shocked to see she had teeth & actually smiled & was friendly to that customer. I guess since we are not regular customers she feels like she didn't need to provide good customer service. Needless to say we won't be going back & did not leave a tip. For a $60 bill that we paid I usually tip at least $20. I'm sure she was not surprised. Not too sure if she was an owner or what but she is obviously a miserable person who shouldn't be a waitress. read more

I have come here multiple times and have always had a great experience. I usually get the Noah's combo which lets you choose one thing from list A (a quiche Lorrain) another from list B (fresh fruit) and either a roll or muffin (roll). This was about $12. The staff are always nice and the bathroom is clean. The only thing I have to complain about here is the fact that it closes at 3:00 and that personally I do not like the antique looking design. Cute little small town cafe with American food. I ordered from the kid's menu because I wasn't very hungry & the server said that was ok. My friend ordered all kinds of stuff. I had never tried Texas Toothpicks before (they were yummy). The woman who delivered the food looked at me and said "oh this isn't your order" and started to walk away.
