For a special occasion, we expected at least basic friendliness and hospitality, but the service completely took away from what should have been a fun celebration. The food may have been good but the customer service was enough that we would not return. A restaurant can have great food, but if the staff makes customers feel unwelcome it really impacts the entire experience.

I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

My first visit there was a mix up with my drink and when I drove up there was one car in the drive through and I waited 15 min for a latte. The manager was kind and corrected the drink order and refunded a portion. Today on my way to work I thought I would give it another try. I got a 1/8 moon latte and the drink tasted off. It wasn't as warm as usually (which I know I can ask for) but generally it isn't needed. The flavor pallet was off and as an espresso lover I got through three sips. I also got a sausage sandwich and blueberry scone. The sandwich I took one bit (granted I have never gotten before at any location) and it just felt so overly inauthentic I didn't finish it. I didn't expect and extraordinary flavor as it's fast food but Summer Moon in general has always been articulated well. The scone as well just didn't have the same freshness as other locations I frequent. I do think I may give the location more time to get settled as I have wanted a location closer to home and hope it helps.

The waitress was friendly and pleasant and extremely patient while we studied the menu that had so many delicious options ! That made it so difficult to decide on just one thing. The only thing missing on the menu were gluten free options, which would have been nice. The food bordered on " cool" when it was presented, but was still tasty. The fans overhead cooled the food even more, unfortunately before we could finish eating. Next time we return, we will definitely opt for one of the corner booths, if it's available.
