Great Food, Great Prices, Fabulous Service! Just keep in mind they are super busy because they are so good...so be patient and enjoy the ambiance while you wait! It's worth it!!! We had breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy, and the Greek omelet. All 10 out of 10! read more

Another great meal at Nick's. We stopped by today at about 11. The morning crowd had left and there were a few tables to be seated. Our server came by shortly after we were seated and took our order, which came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito. It was quite large and had lots of stuff inside. If I were to complain about anything would be not enough salsa. It is my fault since I didn't make the server aware. Thank you Nick's for another superb filling meal! read more

Tasty food. Great table service. Noisy, happy environment. This picture is very much like what I received when I ordered a Western Omelet. It caught me by surprise since it doesn't look like an omelet. It was tasty, but there was way too much overcooked egg on the edges, about 4". read more

Dropped by one of my all time favorite breakfast spots in Leander. Nicks Breakfast and Coffee is one of those spots that's feels like home. Friendly personal service, great menu items with specials and great value. There is a particular Greek flavor to a lot of their menu items. Their breakfast sausage has a very unique taste, unlike any others. Today's service (9/7/26) was a little off. After salting and peppering and squirting on ketchup, I quickly realized yy breakfast plate was cold. Huh, (SMH). This was unusual. The eggs, hash browns, toast, all perfectly platted and presented, yet cold. My blood sugar was getting very low, and the "Hangry's" were starting to build so I just ate it. Even cold it was still very good (-1 star for temp Nick, sorry). Over all it was still great experience, our server Shelly G, was amazing. I asked to take a photo with me, and she remembers me from another local restaurant she worked at. I reviewed them and took a photo with her. Visit Nicks, foods great, very affordable, and ask for Shelly. She'll appreciate it. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx. read more

I stopped in on a packed Sunday morning before shopping. The front lot is small, but there's additional parking in the back. They also have outdoor seating with spray fans. The inside is cozy, but we made friends at the bar and settled in. The menu is extensive, with everything from gyros to omelets, and the portions are generous. I ordered an omelet made as a scramble, and it came out hot and fast. The side options were plentiful, so I didn't even need to substitute. Someone nearby ordered a strawberry waffle, and I already know what I'm getting next time--it looked amazing! Prices are average, but seating is tight, so this is more of an eat-and-go spot than a place to linger. Overall, a fun and satisfying brunch stop! read more

I tried this place on my lunch break and got a burger and the lemon chicken soup. The soup was pretty good, an acquired taste in my opinion. The burger was delicious and the portion size was really big, my only complaint would be that I requested jalapeños and they gave me pickles after charging me extra for the jalapeño. Nevertheless I returned after hearing many good things about their salads and I was not disappointed. This salad was delicious -- fresh lettuce, tasty chicken, yummy peppers. The service was quick and the waitresses were attentive. Will definitely be returning to try some more menu options but I highly recommend the salad and the burger as well. read more

After spotting this place right off Bagdad Road and reading through some Yelp Elite reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were greeted warmly and seated right away, which is always a great start. Our waitress was attentive and brought out waters quickly. The menu is very reasonably priced, which is a nice bonus these days. I ordered the biscuits and gravy ($6.99), and my son went with bacon and eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. He felt his plate leaned a bit on the greasy side, and after trying his bacon, I'd agree it was slightly undercooked for my taste. That said, the biscuits and gravy were the star of the table. Absolutely delicious and something I'd come back for. The only small downside was that it felt a little chilly inside. Overall, friendly service, great prices, and a standout dish make this a solid spot worth read more

After reading such outstanding reviews, we decided to try Nicks for a late breakfast. My husband ordered the NY steak and eggs and I ordered the Eggs Benedict . The waitress was friendly and pleasant and extremely patient while we studied the menu that had so many delicious options ! That made it so difficult to decide on just one thing. The only thing missing on the menu were gluten free options, which would have been nice. The food bordered on " cool" when it was presented, but was still tasty. The fans overhead cooled the food even more, unfortunately before we could finish eating. Next time we return, we will definitely opt for one of the corner booths, if it's available. Overall it was worth coming here and would recommend you give it a try! read more

Home away from home! Nicks has been a staple in our weekend routine since we moved to Leander last year. The servers are consistently sweet and accommodating, Nick the owner is always there to greet the guests and the food never disappoints. The food always needs a little salt and pepper for our liking but to me that's to accommodate anyone that comes in to dine. Our food always comes out quick and tastes fresh! We get plain coffee when we come and it never stops flowing the entire time we're eating. Skip the big chain breakfast spots and try nicks's! read more

My friends and I have been coming to Nick's since it opens. The restaurant is very clean and it's not loud like many of the others in the area. There are soft booths and window shades that dampen the sound. Wait staff are super nice and the kitchen staff are quick getting your food made and out. I go to order is the #3 that comes with eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, potato pancakes served with sour cream and apple sauce, and toast. Nick's continues to be on "My Keepers List" read more

We visited Nicks for the first time and were not disappointed. I tried the Patty Melt and it was so much better than any Patty Melt I have had recently. It was huge. The meat was high quality and cooked correctly. The french fries were great. My dining partner ordered the traditional breakfast and loved her meal. The bacon was thick cut and delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. Service was great. If you're in the Leander area near the Walgreens give it a try as it is a hidden gem. read more

This is a wonderful café in Leander. I've enjoyed breakfasts and lunch here, both in restaurant and to-go. Biscuits and gravy come with a large serving of gravy (yay!). Eggs have been cooked just right, French toast cooked to perfection. The BLT has a generous serving of bacon and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Finally, the baklava is delicious! Ten out of ten! Service here is terrific. Servers don't hover, but are always on top of your needs. One thing to note: the rewards program is tied to credit card payments. We came to Nick's Breakfast and Coffee on a Sunday morning with our 4-month-old and luckily arrived just before the rush, so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress (I didn't catch her name, but she had several piercings) was absolutely fabulous--attentive, friendly, and made the experience that much better. Full 5 stars for her! My husband ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet and enjoyed it. I had the Eggs Benedict with a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were good, but unfortunately the Eggs Benedict missed the mark. The hollandaise sauce had no flavor at all--it tasted like it hadn't been seasoned, and I'm not sure if it wasn't made from scratch or just prepared without salt. Everything else, though, was solid and enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast spot with great service. read more

Lisa is a very sweet and professional server. I think she is a newer member of the team as I had not met her before yesterday. It was very good to see that many of the same servers are still there and have been from the beginning. I went at the perfect time in between breakfast and lunch. It happened to be very convenient as my doctor is in the same shopping center, and I had a fasting lab draw so came over for coffee and a late breakfast afterwards. Nick has good seating capacity, especially considering it is a breakfast and lunch restaurant. When he is not back in the kitchen Nick is out and about. I saw him talking with customers that were obviously routine, as well as checking on how customer meals were tasting to them. Up until 11 AM Nick has a $9.99 breakfast menu-kind of like an early bird special. Although I was only about three minutes away from 11 AM I requested to order off that menu and they were happy to accommodate. There are numerous choices and combinations that include just about everything on the regular breakfast menu perhaps in a bit of a smaller quantity. The breakfast I ordered was perfect for me. One egg over easy, one strip of bacon and one plump sausage, hashbrowns, and rye toast. To be quite honest, I could not even finish all of that! My breakfast arrived within minutes of ordering it. It was hot and fresh- I know from being a short order cook in my own home that if you're well organized, it's not difficult to get breakfast out fairly quickly. I also treated myself to a mocha extra hot. When it was delivered, Lisa advised if I needed a warm-up, she'd be happy to microwave it for me as sometimes their machine is just not as hot as customers want. I didn't find that necessary. I did feel that the mocha was not very sweet- I could've added sweetener or sugar along with additional creams that are always kept on the table. My hashbrowns were crispy and once I started eating them, it was hard to stop. My Overeasy Egg was done to perfection and generally, they do not salt and pepper as they allow you to do it at the table since it's such a preference thing among egg eaters. There's quite a mix of clientele, but it's quite evident that seniors love this place, including myself!! The link sausage was plump and juicy and quite delicious-a far cry from the links that are overdone and quite dry. The toast comes buttered, but you can always ask for more and they give you a couple of individual jellies. I always choose rye toast, but they have wheat and white available as well. I was not rushed at all and felt very comfortable, even though I was dining by myself. Lisa came by to check on me frequently enough to meet my needs. When she delivered the check, she told me there was no hurry whatsoever to take my time and that she would be my cashier. I found myself dining for about $20 including tax and tip. In today's economy, I feel like that's a steal!!!! Everyone there is so friendly, the food is great-- as is the atmosphere. They have specials every day and they always have new items listed on the whiteboard that's out by the door. I'll have to return and do a full review on lunch, but please be aware you can get either during their business hours, which end at 3 PM. Come on over to Leander and turn west on Crystal Falls Parkway (from 183 or 183A-Nick's Breakfast &Coffee will be on the right before you reach Bagdad Road. read more

Nick's is one of our go-to neighborhood breakfast/brunch spots. We were sad to see Guy's Italian restaurant go bye-bye, but Nick's is a great replacement for not only breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I usually order one of their skillets, and I always take home half of it for either lunch or for breakfast for dinner. We also ordered the corned beef hash, and it arrived with plenty of corned beef, and you could easily bring half home. I like that they also offer cafe lattes and cappuccino coffee options. They do have inexpensive breakfast options if you are going light. Every time we visit, we are always greeted as regulars (we are not), and service is always friendly and professional. The atmosphere reminds me of an ole school diner. If you are in the Cedar Park Leander area, do support Nick's! read more

With 'breakfast' in a restaurant name one would expect a very good breakfast. That's what I got. I ordered the Breakfast Plate #2, which came with four pieces of well cooked thick sliced bacon. The eggs were cooked as I ordered and the toast was sourdough. While my hashbrowns were hot and crispy, the flavor seemed a bit flat. One of my dining companions loved the hash browns that came with his hamburger steak breakfast, so I'm guessing my taste buds may have been off. All in all, very good food. The service was prompt, our food came out hot, and we never had to ask for more coffee. I was expecting more of a diner, but the decor was typical small restaurant. When the food is good, who cares what a place looks like. I'll be returning and trying the hashbowns again. read more

First, I always appreciate the option for outdoor seating, which this place has. I appreciate that you can order breakfast while they are open. I am a breakfast all day kinda gal. Haha. The place is fairly cute and has plenty of seating. I ordered the country skillet and enjoyed it once it cooled down, it was very hot. The eggs were cooked perfectly, exactly as I wanted them cooked. The prices are decent. They have both Vanilla and Hazelnut flavored creamers here, which is another big win here. The server we had was friendly. read more

Nick's Breakfast Spot -- The Beautiful, Greasy Heart of a Real Diner Nick's isn't important because it's trendy. It's important because it exists--unchanged, unapologetic, and full of character. This is the kind of diner you'd expect to see in a Tarantino movie: a little rough around the edges, humming with stories, charisma dripping from the vinyl booths and coffee cups that have seen things. The menu is enormous. Alarmingly so. Normally, that's a red flag--the culinary equivalent of "we do everything, just not very well." And yet, somehow, Nick's pulls it off. I've yet to have a bad dish. Not a "meh," not a "could be better," just solid, honest food that shows up and does its job really well. This place feeds you like it cares about your future. Every plate is large enough to power you through an entire day, and you will have leftovers. The best part? They taste just as good--sometimes better--later. That's diner sorcery. Breakfast is the undeniable star. The French toast plate arrives looking like someone stacked twenty pounds of Texas toast, baptized it in powdered sugar, and surrounded it with eggs and bacon like loyal bodyguards. It's beautiful in a way only breakfast can be. And all of this--all of it--for under $15.00. In today's economy, that's practically an act of rebellion. The pricing is fair, almost generous, especially compared to other breakfast spots charging boutique prices for portion sizes that require a magnifying glass. I like supporting Nick's. As much as I enjoy places like First Watch, this is where I go now--because it's local, it's better, and it feels real. Nick's doesn't try to impress you. It just feeds you well, sends you home happy, and somehow becomes part of your routine before you realize it. That's not glitz. That's legacy. read more

We have been at Nick's many times. We have had fast service and the food is great. We highly recommend stopping in for breakfast.

A great, down-to-earth brunch place in quiet Leander! I managed to make it out here with my BF who had been dying to go since it opened. We came by on a Sunday for a late breakfast, and didn't have to wait too long for a seat even though there was a busy crowd that morning! They offer cappuccinos which is nice, but my cup seemed to hold onto a bitter flavor. The portions are LARGE, so come with an appetite or expect to have a good amount of food leftover. The food was flavorful and delicious overall! I especially liked the crispiness of the hashbrowns. The staff were friendly and attentive as well. Coffee was quickly served up and flowed freely for our entire visit. Breakfast arrived within 10 minutes and was HUGE....especially the wife's omelet! Food - 4.5 Stars Service - 5 Stars Atmosphere - 4 Stars While I haven't tried them for lunch, this is a great place for breakfast! We have tried the French Toast, Pancakes, Gyro Omelet, Eggs, Bacon, and Sausage, and were not disappointed in any of them. We have found the service to be excellent, but they do get busy so the servers can get a bit overwhelmed (have a little patience, people!). On one visit, even "Mr. Nick" came out of the kitchen, walked over to our table (other tables, too), and asked how we were doing. A couple of things to be aware of........ 1. When they get busy, parking can be a bit limited, though never not available. You may just have to walk a little further. 2. Depending on what time you get there, there can be a fairly substantial wait for a table. 3. This is a "family" restaurant, so there are kids. Some parents do a great job watching their kids, some not so much. It's a little bit the luck of the draw as to whether you encounter well-behaved children and adults, or whether you are seated near an unruly bunch that were never taught manners, and obviously belong in a barn. read more

After reading reviews saying it got busy, we decided to go early (7am). We're early risers and the place we use to go to opens later so it is nice to have an early rising dine in cafe open. It was a nice surprise to see some familiar faces from another cafe we also visit. We ordered the meat lover skillet and the corn beef omelet. Husband was very satisfied with his skillet, generous portion that came with a choice of side. The omelet was with egg white (optional) that was cooked perfectly. I wasn't thrilled with the thin beef slices, I imagined more chunks of fresh corned beef but it was edible and with a side of French toast. Our first time experience was A+. Service was excellent, the food came out within 10 minutes after ordered, and piping hot. Overall, generously portioned, comparable prices, good food, they open early and location is convenient for us. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items, thank you! read more
