The strawberry cupcake is my longtime favorite, but recently I have fallen in love with the banana cream cupcake. The filling inside the banana cream cupcake is so incredibly delicious. My daughter loves this bakery, and I really appreciate that they offer mini sizes. They are perfect for bringing to parties or for a fun little tasting session at home. I have never had anything here that I did not enjoy, and the staff is always so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for a great sweet treat in Georgetown.

Even if you aren't a huge cupcake person, they have cookies, cheesecake, and everything you could want (even a sign with Will Farrell as Elf saying that they have the World's Best Cup of Coffee)! The cupcake flavors change, but they always have a variety, including red velvet cake, tiramisu, German chocolate cake, strawberry, lemon-blueberry, and so many others! I've tried most of these, and I won't lie that they all have hit the spot! Tiramisu may be one of the favorites but I do love me coffee and tiramisu! The place itself is very small--but friendly in ambiance! It makes up for size with all the options and the service--can't wait to go back every time I'm in the area!

Immediately decided to come here for my daughter's birthday cake. I recently tried and failed at curating a beautiful but disgusting cake from a different bakery so I did not want to mess this one up! I called and the owner was very upfront about flavors, pricing, decor and overall cake chemistry, this transparency is so important! We ended up getting something simple but she truly delivered! Flavor profile was insane. Cake was soft and melt in your mouth delicious. When I say I hateeeeee buttercream with a passion and prefer whipped icing - primarily based on the fact that everyone likes buttercream and store bought versions are just gross to me - I was hesitant to try this one but BAYBEEEEEE. Stress no more. The flavor on this cake was definitely made with love and thats apparent in the service, delivery and overall preparation. Love love love and highly recommend you come here for special occasion based treats!! Well done team

I had the caramel cheesecake milkshake and the husband had a fancy coffee drink. We had a great time! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was super fun. The only drawback is that, although the presentation is out of this world insta-worthy, it kind of creates a mess when you actually try to consume these fantastic creations. They do have a redeeming factor for this, though...they have 'clean up sinks' made specifically to fix the sticky mess off your glass and off your hands before you get back into your car to head home. Overall, we highly recommend this place. Try it-you won't be disappointed!!

Or, young people neither care nor know what an ice cream parlor is. The Yard Milkshake Bar defies time and shares with all generations the joy of ice cream creations done well in ageless fashion, Entering the Yard you're greeted with that immediate chill of summer relief from the cool interior and you just instinctively know what's coming. There's is a large selection of creamy, taste-saturated ice cream choices. The service was quick at the counter and the employees were eager to offer their knowledge of the delicious options. I, sticking to my fave go-to, asked about coffee flavored choices, There were several (including one with ice cream doused in iced coffee!), I got the coffee ice cream milk shake with Hershey's chocolate and whipped cream topping. They bring your selection to you at your table (there are patio tables as well as interior seating), I took that one, deeply inhaling first sip of my thick, savory creation and I said a prayer: "Dear Lord , please minimize my brain freezies because this is going down fast!" The BEST shake I've ever had. As I slurped it down, a group of teens arrived, made a hasty order and were soon treated too a group-sized, massive sundae creation, Old school, new generation, I enjoyed my shake down to the last, luscious mix of ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate spponful, Know that the location is at the back of a maze of strip centers but it is at the very back -- just keep going, you'll find your reward! Definitely going back,

The cake looked alright, however, they did not fully follow the instructions provided when we ordered. Design details were missed, and it truly looks like they rushed on the cake. For $100, we expected more out of it. The cake itself did not taste great - it was very dense, and the filling they used was not what we ordered. He asked for a vanilla cake with a whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling. They had used a white buttercream instead, and also put an inedible fondant covering the entire cake. This turned what was supposed to be a light and airy strawberry shortcake into more of an overly sweet and dense cake, I do want to note that they did not ask any follow up questions about what to use for the cakes icing or anything of the sort (which I find strange especially at this price point for a small cake) when my husband sent in the request. They also told him they put candles in the box, but there were none. We tried to reach out to the business to resolve this offline, and they did not respond. We love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately this one did not hit the mark.

This place is more known for cakes so not a huge deal. I got a cookies n cream cupcake and homestyle cookie (chocolate chip cookie w/dulce de leche filling). Cupcake was a little dry, but I will say they are very generous with frosting portion on the cupcakes (almost same amount if not more than the bread). Frosting had a good flavor but because cupcakes sit in a cooled display case it was very very thick (solid). Had to wait a bit for it to thaw out. Homestyle cookie wasn't crazy for either. I asked the employee helping me if had a a lot of filling/if the dulce de leche made the cookie "too sweet" but she assured me it didn't. It wasn't for me (unfortunately threw both away after a bite). It was a lot of filling and almost just overpowering, to each their own. Customer service was fine. I probably wouldn't try it again.
