For $100, we expected more out of it. The cake itself did not taste great - it was very dense, and the filling they used was not what we ordered. He asked for a vanilla cake with a whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling. They had used a white buttercream instead, and also put an inedible fondant covering the entire cake. This turned what was supposed to be a light and airy strawberry shortcake into more of an overly sweet and dense cake, I do want to note that they did not ask any follow up questions about what to use for the cakes icing or anything of the sort (which I find strange especially at this price point for a small cake) when my husband sent in the request. They also told him they put candles in the box, but there were none. We tried to reach out to the business to resolve this offline, and they did not respond. We love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately this one did not hit the mark.
