Glazed, Red Velvet, and Blueberry Donuts. The Glazed Donut definitely stood out and is absolutely amazing!

Have heard about Round Rock Donuts from many and finally decided to give them a try! Came here on Saturday and Sunday morning, during a Texas Cold front, and there was definitely a good line of donut-seeking customers! They have a nice display of donuts at the center of their window, with two ordering lines. I ordered the Glazed, Red Velvet, and Blueberry Donuts. The Red Velvet was good, the Blueberry was average, and the Glazed Donut was absolutely amazing! The Glazed Donut was warm, fluffy, and proportionately bigger than a typical donut. Highly recommend and personally would say that is their signature item. Came here the following morning during the Austin-International Half Marathon to get some donuts at 630 in the morning and loved the aesthetics of lights. Definitely made the mood better during the 28 degree weather! Highly recommend!

I had heard about this place for months so, my daughter and I decided to drive over from Manor and try it out. It did not disappoint! There was quite a line. (It was Saturday morning)... however, it was efficient and ran smoothly getting our order out in a timely manner. The doughnut itself was really good. It's soooo big! Think one dozen doughnuts in single sitting. We didn't get to try the frozen coffee because the machine was down. So, we'll be back!

WOWZER! What tasty donuts! My first time here and I'm thrilled! Delicious donuts, friendly staff and fast service. I myself, did not like the kolachi, I asked what was inside of it and was told " two meats", it was a mini hot dog. Yuck. I Highly Recommend the donuts. A+

Round Rock Donuts was, as always, amazing! When we visit Austin, we always stop by to grab something yummy for the road trip home and usually something that a friend has requested. This time we tried several flavors of filled donuts (my favorite is the lemon) and the cinnamon rolls. We brought home a couple dozen glazed donuts for friends (even day old are better than not getting to have them for months on end) and one Texas Sized glazed for the bit. Round Rock Donuts aren't any more expensive than other donut places. And they have increased the number of order takers to make the process quick (I think I saw three order takers in the drive thru plus the two walk-up windows). Definitely a family favorite.

Worth the drive!! You have found the place to get your donut fix and feed your soul... I mean belly! lol They make everything fresh (on site) and serve them warm!! This place is well known for having incredible donuts! They even have a Texas sized donut that is sure to impress!! My fav are the Bismarks... they make them to perfection and are filled with delicious and fresh cream!! The glazed donuts are better than any other place you'll find! The pricing is more than fair... probably a third of what other places charge and 100% better! Service is friendly and fast!! Their website has all the yummy details! https://roundrockdonuts.com/round-rock-menu

Ive been meaning to try this place forever. If the triple A baseball team chooses your product as their alter ego, the donuts cant be THAT bad, right? Turns out, theyre pretty dang good. Yours truly went with the tried and true standard glazed donut. Sure, they had sprinkled, iced, cinnamon roles and kolaches but, as a newbie, I needed to walk before I could run. It was great; warm, super soft, sweet but not coyingly so. High marks. The staff was friendly and inviting. You walk up, place your order at the window and then a guy runs it out to you. Bing-Bang-Boom.

    Ordering! Cool dude too!

Very unique-tasting and -looking donuts! The dough has a rich yellow color (something to do with how many egg yolks they use). I'd recommend eating two max in one sitting -- they're seriously good but highly addicting and super sweet. Pro Tip: I've gone twice -- early Saturday morning and again on Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, it was much less busy later in the day. No need to wake up early for this one! Also if it's hot there is no shaded place to sit near the store. Head across the street to gazebo. 10/10 Donuts

I enjoyed everything about this donut shop! The donuts are quite a feat and definitely not something you can find anywhere! We ordered their famous glazed donuts, chocolate, and their pumpkin spice cream cheese donuts. The texture about them made it hit the sweet spot! Although it was busy, they moved rather quickly! I want to shout out Amanda in the drive thru. She was friendly & put us first while moving quickly! Definitely worth stopping by if you're passing through!

Cinnamon roll! We didn't get it warm... so we took it home to heat up later.

There was a line but definitely worth the wait...even in the rain! The person taking our order was so kind and was able to help us out on the must try items. The glazed donut was so good! A classic and something everyone should try if you go here. They do military discount and the donuts are very affordable. We plan to comeback anytime we have family visiting Texas!

Yummy donuts! Original, maple, strawberry, cinnamon twist.

Their signature yellow glaze? Iconic. It's sweet, light, and almost sunny--nothing like your standard donut shop frosting!! I tried them as a kid years ago, and coming back as an adult, I can confirm: the nostalgia is real, and the flavor, YUM! Service was fast and friendly, even with a line. Round Rock Donuts isn't just dessert--it's a Texas rite of passage. Grab a dozen, share with friends and prepare to ruin yourself for regular donuts forever!

My only regret was not getting a cinnamon roll!

My only regret was not getting the cinnamon roll. Definitely will be going back for one soon.

Look closely at the bottom of this frame... $12 oval loop of a donut. HUGE !!!

Reasonably priced #donuts, #kolaches, #CinnamonRolls, #lattes, #coffee at R2's famous #RoundRockDonuts 'walkup' window or drive-thru. The bigger, #Texas #Cinnamon Roll was HUGE. I asked Cashier2222 to please cut the Roll into four pieces, & refresh their weak #Pumpkin #Latte with stronger, plain coffee... which she did & all with a smile... which is why #R2Donuts gets FIVE Stars! I walked back to #RoundRockPublicLibrary & gave 3/4 of the Roll to #RRPL staff... it was that BIG!, before sitting down to savor the last piece. However, the #taste & #texture of my #CinnamonRoll #breakfast treat was #disappointing . With all the great looking donuts in the window, I was expecting a moist & #flavorfull, sugared Cinnamon Roll, but, no... it was dry, due to the lack of #CinnamonSugar & butter-based dough?!? I ate two small bites before dumping the remaining dough. I guess my taste buds have become accustomed to &/or spoiled by that 'sweet kitchen' in #Georgetown &/or that #homemade, 'flakey bakery' in #Taylor #Texas. Now... if I could only find a similar offering in #RoundRock, I'd be ' rolling in dough'... tee-hee Service was personable & quick... Thanks! Parking is available with multiple, pull in spots across the street... easy access.

While I love the ambiance, staff and selection, I was a disappointed with the cute, filled cake I bought. I've done a lot of baking and have some experience with different versions of buttercream frosting, and the frosting on my cake tasted like it was made mostly with shortening rather than butter. I know to get a white white frosting, shortening will often be mixed with butter, but the flavor should still be good, and this just wasn't tasty like I was expecting for a cake at the price that I paid. I will try them again for other items from the cafe, or cookies etc, but not another filled cake.

I called and the owner was very upfront about flavors, pricing, decor and overall cake chemistry, this transparency is so important! We ended up getting something simple but she truly delivered! Flavor profile was insane. Cake was soft and melt in your mouth delicious. When I say I hateeeeee buttercream with a passion and prefer whipped icing - primarily based on the fact that everyone likes buttercream and store bought versions are just gross to me - I was hesitant to try this one but BAYBEEEEEE. We were exited to take my niece to the 'unicorn place' and support a plant based shop. It was super cute and she was excited about the decor and unicorns. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.

The employee was polite, very informative. It's a cute little shop, bathroom was in a separate building, not a far walk. Outside seating, in front and back of shop, vending machine with their products. Giving three stars because of how dry, possibly old the cake bites were.
