Absolutely love this place, it reminds me of home and the staff is so warm and comforting. I always have a great experience, the pan dulce is delicious, and the breakfast tacos are perfection. If you are ever needing authentic pan dulce or tacos. This is the spot, also tamales are sold on certain days. Thank you Concha Feliz! Estoy FELIZ.

We had gone to the paletaria down the way many times and saw the sign for this place. This time we walked over to check it out. This place is well stocked with all sorts of baked goods. They even have a dulce de leche empanada! But for those of us that are gluten-free, the only items available are the custards, jello cups and the basic flan. There are some macarons but they seem to be brought in from somewhere else. The staff was nice. The store was clean and parking was easy being in a big lot but without many gluten free things it's hard for me to need to come back alone.

I paid a visit to this location two days ago to get fresh bread and conchas. Did ya'll know: Before the Spanish arrived to Mexico in the early 1500s, Aztecs (and all native indigenous populations that lived in North America at that time) primarily ate meals consisting of corn, squash, and beans. After conquering the ancient and thriving Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, on what is now the Mexican plateau, the Spanish established Mexico City and designed it in the model of a little Spain. And with that, not only did European architecture take the place of many Indigenous architecture, food was replaced, too.The traditional corn and tortillas that the indigenous people of Mexico City grew and ate for so long was disrupted. The increasingly present European population wanted a grain they knew from the Old World: wheat. The indigenous population at first did not desire wheat, but it wasn't until someone was seen dipping their bread in hot chocolate that others around Mexico quickly caught on and turned it into a custom. Fast forward French influence, the combination of French and Mexican technique, panaderias were formed. Such panaderias are responsible for Pan Dulce or Conchas. Class dismissed! Yelp fam, you may have guessed based upon my historical knowledge of Pan Dulce, I absolutely 'am here for' a good concha, and this place delivers. These conchas served here pair perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee (which this establishment has). These conchas have a distinctive, slightly earthy flavor. Aside from the conchas purchased here, I also purchased fresh bread and cinnamon rolls. The bread is also fresh and sweet and has a pleasant aroma even after day three of purchase. Everything purchased from this location was fresh. If in the area, this is a local shop that should not be slept on! #supportlocal

This small bakery located in a strip center on Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock opened its doors in August 2022. Within the small confines of this space you'll find some freshly baked Mexican pastries, breads and cookies. They also have kolache's, donuts, cold drinks and even frozen cakes. Their system is simple. You grab a metal tray and tongs and select whatever you want from the display cases and bring it to the counter. They are open from 6 AM till 8 PM every day except Sunday (when they open at 7am). This is a great spot to stop on your early morning commute to work for a bite, however, they don't have coffee. And yes, there is a tip jar or a tip screen at the end of your transaction. Plenty of photos to get you through the door.

I figured I'd be there long enough to finish a podcast, pay a bill, maybe rethink my life choices. Nope. These folks must have personally trained the crew over at Chick‑fil‑A, because we ordered, paid, and had hot doughnuts and doughnut holes in our hands in just a few minutes. Zero stress. Zero delay. Pure breakfast efficiency. And the service? Friendly, fast, and on point -- the kind that makes you feel like they actually enjoy being the heroes of your morning. If you want fresh, warm doughnuts without sacrificing half your day, this is the spot. Round Rock Donuts still runs the game.

They're known for specific specialties such as the "Texas" donut which is as big as my butt. Ok well, maybe not but close. It's a 14" donut! The cinnamon rolls are just as ginormous. They have regular-sized donuts, donut holes, kolaches, and mini-donuts. Another specialty is their glazed yellow donut (color from fresh eggs). Yeast-risen donuts. The double chocolate (cake style) mini-donut is my favorite. The bakery offers walk-up window service as well as drive-thru. They get really busy and are open 4:30 am-6:30 pm. Lines start to form as soon as kids get out of school for the day. RR Donuts are absolutely worth the hype!

Store #FC6305, 3250 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX…read more I placed an order on www.shipleydonuts.com for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived - which I thought was great. When I got home, I realized one of the items was wrong. I ordered an egg and cheese kolache. They gave me a sausage, egg and cheese kolache. The person this was for is a vegetarian and cannot eat sausage. This item been trashed, as no one else likes sausage I called the store (#FC6305). The first time I called, someone answered and hung up on me. The second time I called it rang and went to a voicemail that is not set up. The third time someone answered and they were very confused why I was calling. They could not comprehend that I was given the wrong item. I kept repeating the issue. Eventually, they told me that they only carry sausage, egg, and cheese kolaches - so that's what they gave me. It doesn't matter that I ordered egg and cheese. I complained that if they don't care this item, I shouldn't have been able to order it. And that they never told me at the store that they couldn't fulfill this item to give me another option at that time. It's inappropriate to charge someone for an item and give them something different - without their knowledge. This person did not care. This clearly wasn't a mistake; it's their business practice. The manager, An, blamed me for ordering through DoorDash. I told her several times that I ordered through their website. Then she blamed me for ordering online, because "the website has all items served at all stores. Not just our store." She repeated that only carry sausage, egg and cheese so that's what they gave me. She sees no issue with being given the wrong item, or that the person is vegetarian and can't eat it. She went to talk to someone else (a guy); I was expecting a solution. When she came back she said "what do you want?!?" as if she forget why I was on the phone. They refused to offer a refund or any solution. She told me to call someone else. I called corporate and the agent I spoke to filed a claim. She was yawning through the entire call. I've never experienced something like that... I gave her my contact info and when she repeated it back, it was incorrect. So, I don't expect to hear back from corporate. I wish this store had just told me that they didn't have the item that I ordered when I picked it up. This could have been resolved very easily. The kolache cost just $4. The fact that they do not care and don't see the problem with knowingly serving the wrong item is my real issue. The donuts are okay. Coffee was awful. With so many coffee shops and donut shops to choose from, I would recommend going to another place.

The bullseyes were both flat as a pancake and smaller than the size of a regular glazed. I mean for $2 and some change please give me my moneys worth. Also, the regular glazed tasted like they were fried in old oil and the big smoked sausage kolache, which wasn't a sausage at all, was rubbery. If it's a hot dog wiener just say that! This is why franchises like these are forced to close multiple locations or just disappear all together. Customers are getting tired of this shrinkflation crap and just overall horrible ability to supply people with a great consumable product for a reasonable cost. RR donuts here we come! The workers were all pleasant and it was a positive pick up experience! One donut was incorrect but otherwise it was great. PRICING - The total was $14.35 after tax ($0.85) but before tip for a "Build Your Own" half dozen ($13.50). I think the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of donuts! CINNAMON PUMPKIN SPICE (7/10) - The pumpkin flavor is only in the buttercream but it has the perfect level of "spice". We ordered a glazed pumpkin spice but were given this one instead. Still, I'd order this one again. BACON IN THE SUN (9/10) - This was a fantastic maple bacon donut... the chopped bacon is real bacon and the salted caramel drizzle adds the perfect amount of saltiness paired with the bacon. I'd order this one again. PEANUT BUTTER PARADISE (7/10) - The peanut butter icing and chocolate drizzle get very thin since it's served warm but it's delicious and has a strong peanut butter flavor. I'd order this one again. CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION (7/10) - This one is for the chocolate lovers... you get chocolate icing with Oreo cookie pieces and a hot fudge drizzle. I'd oder this again. THE BOARDWALK (8/10) - This is basically a cookies and cream donut but better because it also has powdered sugar. I'd order this again! CINNAMON BUN (7/10) - This one is basic but good... it's basically just coated in cinnamon sugar with a vanilla drizzle. I'd probably skip this one next time. This was my first time trying Duck Donuts but I will definitely be back and recommend it to others. I love how dense the actual donuts are and there are so many flavor options to choose from. Plus, you can build your own by choosing a coating, topping, and drizzle.
