We had been to fresh donuts long back, we were satisfied with the donuts but place itself was underwhelming, wasn't so clean, so we dint go back again. Thought of giving this place a try again and stopped by, glad we did, they have taken all tables and chairs inside and it was clean, nothing like it used to be. We got donuts(glazed, chocolate peanuts, cinnamon sugar) and crossaints Donuts were very good, little smaller than other places. Crossaints were fresh, flaky and soft inside, crispy outside but it had some weird taste not in a bad way but something was different, maybe flour or butter they use, dunno‍. Been coming here for years. They've been consistently great. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. The donuts are fresh and delicious - love their blueberry cake donut. I like their breakfast tacos too - bacon egg and cheese hits the spot every time. Nothing fancy, but good quality and consistent. We generally use the drive thru which is super convenient. Growing up I've been spoiled with Round Rock Donuts so I was expecting to be disappointed with Fresh Donuts....boy was I wrong! The workers were friendly and the service was great. The restaurant was clean and prices were very reasonable. The donuts themselves were fantastic, especially the donut holes-- hot out of the fryer. Been looking fo a little donut shop for a while. Did some of other locals and they are great but this takes me back to the hole in the wall I grew up with!! These folks have everything and they are super nice and helpful. Selection is great! So many Kolache mixes to go with every donut. Only missing powder. Good drink selection too I was pretty impressed with the cooler. It was clean and has a couple chairs/tables! We will be coming here from now on !! read more

Awful! went @7:30am: glazed donuts were cold& tasteless. ordered a large Kolache w/ cheese but they gave me one with NO cheese, cold, with a small shriveled hot dog in it and NO RECEIPT so I could take it back. It was not busy, 1 other person there, maybe you should take time to do your job right! And their breakfast tacos are NOT fresh, they are frozen pre-made and heated. Very fast and very friendly service! Reasonable prices! I love this place. They have great kolaches and donuts. I recently tried their sausage, egg, and cheese crescent and it's a new favorite of mine. The one thing I want so badly to like is their apple fritter, but I've gotten it 3 times and the outside is always fried to a crisp and tastes burnt. It's upsetting because the inside is so moist and delicious but I end up having to throw a third of it in the trash. I LOVE this little donut shop and the people that run it are adorable. I hate to admit it, but they recognize me now. I don't even go there super regularly, but they know what I like. A very small, family-owned donut shop that I like to indulged in every once in a while after TaeKwondo. The interior of the shop is as generic as the business name suggests. The service is friendly and I really appreciate their willingness to accommodate requests for mixing and matching. The donuts are a cross between, Krispie Cream's light and fluffy and Round Rock's cake-like donut's. The glaze is not overly sweet like most donuts. The selection is typical of a donut shop and there are few varieties of kolaches. The kolaches are pretty good, with a good bun to dog ratio. The Kolaches are fantastic (the bread around them is so soft and delicious), the cake donuts are moist, my husband loves the apple fritter and the old fashioned donut and the glazed donuts melt in your mouth. Selection is okay, service is spotty, doughnuts are fine--not bad not great--but the thing that gets me is the price! A dozen doughnut holes and a buttermilk doughnut set me back almost $3. Overall, this place isn't bad. This morning was our first time stopping by since we were in the area. We probably would've passed this place since it has such a generic name and is located in a small plaza. But we were searching for nearby breakfast places on Yelp and this one had decent reviews. My husband got an apple fritter. He didn't notice much of an apple taste, so no wow points there. I got a boudin kolache which was tasty and filling! I don't know any other place that serves this. We also ordered coffee which was brewed fresh for us. I'm not sure if they brew coffee to order or if it was because we got there after the breakfast rush and they had run out of coffee. I love this place... I personally think the donuts are one the best I have EVER had! To begin, one thing I really like about this place is that they are open till one. Most donut places close early, so I really like how this place is open so much later! Also, the service is always so kind. Not a whole lot of places in Round Rock to get good croissants/kolaches, but this place is brand new and in my neighborhood. I was surprised to find how good this place is: ham,egg and cheese croissant was flakey, my large jalapeno sausage kolache was great as well, ordered my daughter a small sausage, egg and cheese croissant and she loved it! The donut holes we received were very good as well. As it's very hard to find a good kolache place, and having a somewhat picky child, it's nice to find this little place on the drive in to work or great stop for the weekend garage saling. I was so glad to find this place, I wanted to get more information to share with fellow Yelpers! So for the first month, they are open 5 AM - 6 PM, and then after that, they will be open 5 AM - 1 PM. Don't go to them based on my review, go to them to find a new place to get breakfast at, then you be the judge and add your own review. One thing that really sticks out for me is their boudin!! I am a boudin SNOB and their kolaches are.... well... they are so good I can't even put words to tell y'all how good! My recent obsession there at the moment is a combo breakfast sandwich (bacon and sausage)! To be completely honest I stumbled on this sandwich when I had a terrible hang over and it was the perfect hearty (the food hangover greasiness)!!
