It took me TWELVE years to find it. Twelve! To say I'm particular about certain types of food is an understatement. It's the curse of also being a cook/baker, myself, I guess. We happened semi-accidentally across Nathalie's. We made it in within the last hour they were open that particular weekday, & we still got everything we could've wanted. A Spicy Boudin Kolache. OMG! So well crafted & delicious (boy, were we happy to see this item in the case that day, since this was THE item that had us trekking from Manor to Cedar Park)! We also indulged in a Chocolate Old Fashioned (crisp exterior, a personal 'requirement' of mine), an Apple Fritter (a gift for my Son, it had a delectable pronounced Apple flavor), & the most impeccable Maple Glazed with Bacon Donut we've ever had. I'm thankful this place isn't closer to home. I would literally be here every day if it didn't cost me $9+ in Tolls to land on their doorstep. Lol If you haven't made your way to Nathalie's recently... get yourself over there. You won't be sorry. They have Breakfast Tacos, Kolaches, Breakfast Sandwiches, Drinks, & every Donut you can imagine...also cute tables to eat them at, both inside & out.

When I got in the car - I was suddenly not so happy. I got a huge bad chemical taste. But it could not cover up the chemical taste once the dough was out of the way and the flavorings were still in my mouth and throat. Voodoo Donuts - where the donut itself tasted marvelous but the calorie count was over the top ridiculous.
