Being a lover of sweetie goodness, I can't pass up that recommendation. We probably let our eyes do the ordering because we probably got more than we should have. Before I forget, I have to give a shout out to Karen who took our very complicated orders, but she was so nice and friendly, she stepped out to hand us our order and made sure to give each of us a hug and one photo for the gram or Yelp. Super sweet lady that has been with the company for a very long time. As for my take on the Donuts or Doughnuts, these are definitely doughnuts to me because the dough was very light and fluffy with a very subtle sweet glaze. Just like most doughnuts, you have to eat it fresh or they lose their softness, fluffiness and sweetness. Day old doughnuts just do not taste the same, and Round Rock Donuts also do-nut hold their freshness the next day. I argue that Krispy Kreme are the only donuts I have ever had that are still soft the day after. I'm sure there are those who will disagree with me. Since we got it fresh, I'll rate the glazed donut a 7/10. If given a box of fresh round rock donuts, I will not say no thank you, but Thank you very much.

You can ask for the donut to not have the drizzled icing on top too because I find it just a little too sweet for my taste when the icing is on top. These are only seasonal and offered during summertime, which is the only negative thing I can say about it. Wish they were a new daily menu item. My husband and I ordered two iced vanilla lattes with almond milk, and both drinks were difficult to drink. The espresso tasted very burnt and overly acidic, and one latte was especially watered down due to having very little ice. We ended up throwing both away, which was disappointing after spending around $15. As people who genuinely love coffee and enjoy supporting local cafes, we don't expect perfection, but we do expect some consistency and care in preparation.
