I love the chicken filled crescents, Apple Fritters, and donut holes. My wife loves the kolaches here. This location is always clean, the employees are very nice and helpful. This is genuinely my favorite donut spot, and donuts are my favorite food. I've been going here for years, I recently moved away but I always come back here when I visit. The employees and the owner are super friendly and they work quickly. They have so much variety in their menu! Their dough is so fluffy and soft. They have an awesome drink variety too! What really makes them stand out is the prices, everything is so reasonable! I got a huge delicious iced coffee for only about $4.50! Like half the price of Starbucks but just as good. As an update to my last review, I came back to this location today to try another mix of donuts. I saw the fruity peebles donuts on my last visit, but didn't purchase any. This time, I took the plunge and decided to purchase these cereal adorned donuts. These donuts are made using a classic, basic fried yeasted donut recipe with a fruity pebble milk glaze. The glaze is made by soaking fruity pebbles in milk overnight to really capture the flavor, before topping off the donuts with fruity pebbles! The crunch from the pebbles provide a nice disposition to the donut for those of us who like foods with a little something extra. In addition, the pebbles evaluate the sweetness of the glaze without being overly sweet. read more

Have only tried their Jalapeno cheese croissant kolache, apple fritter & cinnamon twist donut. All worth a try. The bread for the croissant kolache was soft inside but also had a good crunch to it. My husband, who is also the donut connoisseur of our castle has chosen Grand Donuts in Leander (the Ronald Reagan location) as our doughnut of choice!!! His dad used to always go out and get his mom donuts every Sunday so my hubby took up that tradition. Only been here a couple of times and only on the weekend for breakfast. Both the doughnuts and the kolaches have always been good and fresh. I never knew you could eat a glazed fluffy cloud, but I just did! Seriously, I think I just ate the best glazed donut EVER. The donut was warm, soft, and glazed with a delightfully sweet glaze that made it the perfect donut. While there on this visit, my daughter had the pink donut with shaved coconut which she loved it. The hubs went with a maple glazed donut and was also impressed. This is a brand new donut shop in the new Cold Springs shopping center. The strip mall is only partially open at the moment, but it really is open! It's worth a drive out to grab some donuts if you are in the area! The shop also has a drive through window so you don't even have to get out of your car for your sugar fix. The menu is pretty big for a donut shop. I've only tried the donuts so far, but they also have breakfast tacos, kolaches, croissants, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. I can't wait to try the other stuff because they were all beautiful. I will probably quickly become the Duchess here because I'm already addicted. I better start putting more time in on the treadmill. :) read more

Sometimes it's just a matter of principle. You wait behind three cars in line and then get to the window to place your order and they tell you that the price is going up 2$ dollars per dozen. We've been going to Super Donuts at both Cedar Park and Austin locations for years. The donuts are ok and so are the other choices. The food is no issue for us. What we can't undetstand is why they use such cheap coffee. Its terrible. Also, I always imagine how I would change the the decor. SO sad- looking. It is pretty clean...BUT, The owner could make tons more money if it were a cute place. The decor is team shirts and odd Texas junk on the walls and old donut ads. I recommend painting it a warmer white, and adding a few framed of scenes of Cedar Park's lovely trails and lakes. Get rid of the toy catcher and itll give it a more spacious feel. Also the music from that machine is obnoxious. Add some cute small tables and chairs. Better lighting, coffee and atmosphere and you'll have a huge success. Last week, we were hit with how hot the temperature was inside. The A/C was barely on at all. We asked the sweet lady to turn it down lower and she said she would try. It was a little better,but pretty much turned off most customers from staying. I don't know how the employees stand that. I feel sorry for them! read more

Donuts and kolaches are awesome. My only issue is they advertise iced coffee. I have been in two separate times to get an iced coffee and both times they didn't have it. The first time I was told the owner forgets to make it and he is the only one that knows how. The second time I was told that the owner said it was too cold for iced coffee so they weren't making it that day (this is Texas...). If you aren't going to have iced coffee every day, then don't advertise it! If it weren't for this, I would give 5 stars. Update: love this place! They always have my iced coffee, donuts are always fresh and kolaches are amazing! read more

Soggy tacos.... it's hard to make a bad taco in Texas but the day I went, they was successful.

Second time ordering potato egg and cheese tacos that have mystery meat in them, and this time a short black hair too. I know the meat part doesn't matter to most people, but it matters to our family. First time this happened one taco out of the five we paid for was potato egg cheese and sausage. Luck day for our dog. Second time, all four tacos we ordered had pieces of mystery meat and bacon mixed into them, and one had a thick black hair cooked into the egg. Husband took them back for a refund. We will not be back! Their donuts aren't great either, poorly glazed and iced... sometimes they have tasted old... no reason to continue giving this place another shot. The donut place at 1431 and Bell is almost the same, only they obviously pay more attention to what they are putting in their tacos and the donuts are always fresh. Go there instead! read more

BEWARE!!! Check your receipts and how much you tip. Someone there is adding additional money to the tip line. This happened to me two times. The first time, they charged me over a 50% tip and no one could give me an answer about who or why after talking to them twice. The second time happened today (we had not been back since the last time because I had a bad taste in my mouth about what happened). I took a picture of my receipt and when I got the emailed receipt later today, they had added an additional 5%. We will be going up there to get an answer. Check your receipts!
