This spot is such a gem. Honestly took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because everything sounded so good. I ended up getting the croissant egg breakfast sandwich (sconewich!) on bacon cheddar chive - 10/10 this was a hit. I also tried a few scones and cookies to go for home later which also were a hit. Lemon blueberry was a favorite. Their cinnamon latte was easily one of the best coffees I have ever had! Still thinking about it. I ate inside and it was very clean and peaceful. I will make sure to stop by here if I am ever in the area. The people working are super nice and friendly. Do yourself a favor and check them out! Well this place is a hidden gem!! I had an appointment in Hutto and this place was right beside it so, I popped in. Very friendly Staff and very helpful. The menu was perfect, sandwiches, paninis and other nick nacks. There baked good are right up front when you walk in. It's loaded with yummy baked goods like apple turnovers, cherry turnovers, Cinnimon rolls and much much more. This place gives a warm comforting ambiance. I just loved. I wanted to try some of their coffee products but did not have the time. On my list for next time and there will a next time. There isn't anything not to love about this place. The coffee and hot chocolate are to DIE for. The food is amazing every time I've been, and the staff is always very friendly and FAST. I get the Americano with caramel-better than larger chain stores nearby. Hubby switches it up and has never been disappointed. My boys typically get hot chocolate with some sort of flavor. All great stuff. The best thing about this place, though...the pastries. I highly, highly recommend the lemon blueberry scones. Go early, though, as they are popular and go fast. My other favorite is the cream cheese berry tart-SO good! I've seen some reviews on here chastising them for being out of what the customer 'came for.' The thing to realize here is that this is a SMALL, LOCAL place in which they freshly make their goods. If someone before you comes in and buys them out of what you wanted before you get there, you may just be out of luck, but ask if they have more coming, as sometimes that's the case. If not, do yourself a favor in those instances and try something they DO have-you'll probably be pleasantly surprised. Please realize that's the absolute beauty of this place-they DON'T have unlimited amounts of premade, frozen items to restock with on a moment's notice, which is why their food is so amazing. Like with his coffee, hubby changes it up and typically tries a different breakfast sandwich and has always been happy. This last time he got a breakfast sconewich with egg, sausage, bacon and cheese. It was out of the kitchen lickety-split and piping hot. It looked so good, my son went up and ordered a second one and enjoyed it as much as his dad did. During our meal, my husband looked over at me and said, "Why don't we come here more often?" The highlight of my visit here was the service I received from the person who took my order. She was very polite and professional. Granted, I walked in the last 5 minutes before closing time. My lavender latte was weak of both coffee and lavender flavor. My daughter's chai tasted like "dirty water", she said (definitely not worth the price). The muffins were good and so were the scones. The scones were on the small size of pastries, but perfect for us. Perhaps everything is better if you visit during other time, not closing, but I would personally not return to this place. read more

I have been coming here for years. It is a very well-known establishment in hutto and they have amazing scones that they bake fresh. I think that the variety pack is a good value. Their sconewich sandwiches are very interesting and Rich and filling and their coffee creations are really great. I like how much you can customize it and the coffee that they use is really good quality as well as being able to tailor the sweetness level and I like that they always have specials and they rotate it out. They are also very willing to make you something new as well if it's not on the menu. And like I said, this is a hutto establishment. It's a bit on the sweet side for me, but it's still pretty good. I was disappointed that I made an UberEats order, and they canceled the order without any explanation. Since I have only eaten the food that my daughter has picked up from there, I can't speak to the Ambiance or Service. The options vary daily with a few standard ones, Sconerdoodle ( snickerdoodle), Lemon blueberry, ButterNutz, Craisin Confused, Chocolate Chip and Sconeberry Munch. Today was my turn to pick them up. New to Hutto and came across Baked 'n Sconed after searching for local bakery. I love to support one of a kind non-franchise restaurants. Within the year I fell in LOVE with the blueberry muffins, breakfast sandwich croissants and custom lattes. All yummy. One day in July lucked upon their elusive cinnamon roll croissant. It was AMAZING. Both my employees and clients love when I brought to the office. Fast forward a few months. Been absolutely disappointed that I've never been able to purchase the cinnamon roll croissant since. After FOUR attempts, they never have it (1st visit said was out, 2nd I visit called first and they said item only available Saturdays, 3rd visit came Saturday morning (9am) was told they were being prepared and to come back later (couldn't because had to work), and 4th visit 12:30p Saturday afternoon they said sold out). Wasted gas and time looking to genuinely support such a nice spot. read more

Pretty much everything here is perfect. The scones are outstanding and the coffee is incredible. What sets this place apart is the kind staff. Covid almost killed this place and they went to only drive through. Never been inside. But they're so friendly and legitimately want your business. I typically get an almond flavored latte...almond syrup is incredibly hard to find. I've had all their scones. I prefer the savory ones and they are VERY filling. Came across this cute little spot while I was waiting on my car to be serviced at NTB and was so happy I did! The employees were super sweet and the food was even sweeter! I am normally a Starbucks girl but this joint makes me rethink switching it up every once in awhile. I thoroughly enjoyed the croissant breakfast sandwich with cheese and warmed strawberry danish. I believe most items aside from a few are made in house and even if they weren't, the love the smile they put behind their service thoroughly made up for anything they could have possibly lacked. The only sandwich I wouldn't order again would be the turkey cranberry, just off personal preference it was too sweet for me and not as balanced flavors as I thought. Wanted to try this place for there savory scone, drove last Saturday around 10ish, the mAIn entrance is completely closed, only drive thru window. We ordered blueberry scone, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, cookie n cream, buttered pecans and cheddar jalapeño, coffee. We got the lAst ones of blueberry and cheddar jalapeño, so i suggest going big early or they will out of popular ones. Lady at the window wasn't wearing mask or gloves nor I saw using hand sanitizer after returning the carDs. Though girl who was hAndling the food inside was wEaring mask, was able to see thru window:) Sweet scones are small, not too sweet wHich I liiked, savory scone, it was warm, bit huge, heavy anD bit dense but we liked it. We discovered this bakery one weekend morning and have gone three times since. The staff are really nice and friendly, and I felt comfortable asking any questions about the pastries under the glass. They're known for their scones, but they also have Danishes, cupcakes, yogurt, cakes, cookies, croissants, and a lot more. Their scones have a lot of variety, sweet ones from oreo-based and chocolate chip, to fruity ones with berries and lemon. Over the visits we tried a variety of flavors and pastries, and while we each have our favorites, every item has been well made and delicious. Their reputation for their scones are definitely deserved. We'll continue to come here for our weekend breakfast ritual. read more

Baked 'n Sconed is in the building I used to crank donuts out in before going to college. I remember that location fondly and was so happy to see another shop going in. Their scones are incredible, service quick, and the coffee hot and delicious. I'm partial to the cherry turnovers and won't ever pass an opportunity to pick one up. It is a small space with some tables, a sofa, and a bar to sit at. There is also a picnic table outside. I do see some folks working out of the location, but it doesn't seem you'd be able to park it there for a long time. I highly advise checking it out and getting a ham+cheese croissant! read more

I'm new to the area decided to stop by for a snack. I love the vibe here and the scones were very tasty. BUT I got the quiche and it was terribly bland. It was reheated in the microwave so the egg got rubbery and barely had any cheese in it at all. It was more of a plate of scrambled egg with some spinach. I also ordered a caprese sandwich. It was put in a toaster but the cheese wasn't melted and it was cold in the middle. The ciabatta bread Something else that put me off was the plates. It was very small and cardboard and the utensils were plastic. Personally I feel that cafes/bakeries with real mugs, plates, and metal utensils makes a world of difference in weather or not I will frequent an establishment but that's just me. Wholesome baked goods. How much better can it get? My favorite was the apple fritter. It had large apple slices inside that showed clearly this place uses real delicious ingredients. Took a risk and ordered the chicken goat cheese sandwich on brioche bread. I was pleasantly surprised. The fig jam perfectly compliments the goat cheese and the chicken breast was tender. Yummy lunch! I had the "Turkey Cranberry" panini sandwich (with cranberry sauce, spinach and cream cheese), and it was delicious. My SH had the "Italian Job", a panini with salami, prosciutto, sliced provolone cheese and fresh spinach leaves. It was really tasty as well. She found it to be a bit rich for her taste, but it didn't minimize how good the sandwich was. We also had a lemon blueberry scone, which was good. We're not big scone people, but enjoyed it nonetheless. We used the drive-through on this visit. Not particularly fast, but you could tell that the food had been freshly made, so it was a good trade-off. We're close-by, and don't get to Baked 'n Sconed very much, but this lunch will certainly encourage us to come back again soon. read more
