We go here daily. It is an obsession but I'm ok with that. The staff make the difference. Sometimes we get the "what is your favorite color" broista but they just haven't learned us yet. There is a very perky woman with a pony tail and raspy voice that knows us by name and drink. Sadly I'm so dense I don't know her name. She is so pretty and full of life it is refreshing to see her. She seems actually interested in us and that 30 seconds of interaction makes our day. That is what makes Dutch Bros apart from Starbucks and Black Rock. That and the prices. Very manageable since we partake every day. The line moves quickly most of the time, given the freshness of the staff. The drink is always exactly right. I want to like Dutch bros so bad. The only thing that is good half of the time (IMO) is the golden eagle. Sometimes it's too milky and you can't taste the coffee. Service is all ways great, they are very helpful and up beat however today When they handed my drink to me it had red sticky syrup on the bottom of the cup. Which got all over my hands and car. Lately I have been on a chai kick. So Today I tried the golden eagle chai breve , and it literally tasted like I was drinking cold curry soup. While I like curry- that definitely didn't taste like chai! Not even sure what recommendations to provide here but Dutch needs a complete do over! It took exactly 1 hour for my friends and I to receive drinks. We were stuck in line and in attendant finally took our order at the car.... Yet no explanation or apologies or even a warning about the weight. There were two employees on Friday when we went. We finally get up to the window about an hour later and one of the baristas is just singing Christmas carols to herself with absolutely no sense of urgency. The cashier didn't apologize for the wait. I understand that these lines can get crazy but it wasn't a long line. I don't know what the hell was going on at this location but it was bad enough for my friends and I to never want to come back here again. I'm from the Midwest so this was my first experience with the coffee company and I'm impressed! Hutto definitely has a customer service issue in the food industry, but not at Dutch Bros! Super friendly staff that like to get to know you and make sure your order is correct. My favorite menu option so far is the Kicker Irish cold brew. The chai teas options have been wonderful as well. Great coffee and non coffee drinks options. I enjoy that they do featured limited time flavors as well because sometimes you're in the mood to just try something different. Great sizing and pricing. Much better bang for your buck in flavor and amount than competitors in the area. The wait can be a little long, which is odd for a business that doesn't offer any food and mostly iced coffee options. It is still a fairly new establishment so understandably they're getting a lot of traffic at this time. Location is right across from the high school. You can only enter this area from one side of the street which is inconvenient as it is a clustered and busy area at all times of the day. I will start by saying I love this place definitely more than Starbucks ( don't hate me) then again I don't like the taste of coffee lol. That being said I prefer more milk in my coffee.The golden eagle is my favorite drink and it's always consistently made. Sometimes the line can be super long and takes awhile to get your order. However, they have music playing and staff will engage you in conversation when you are at the window. If you're running late don't stop here. The window is quicker sometimes though. The people taking your order does not rush you when you got 20 cars behind you. They are the most friendliest people on the block.
