Carmelicious and mini donuts
Vandesha L.

I heard about this spot on IG. It was about 15 minutes from my home but I had to try it. They have a creative menu but I love that they also serve the basics (coffee and tea). Whole the food choices looked appetizing I was impressed with mini donuts. Who doesn't love donuts and coffee...SIGN ME UP! I won't be here daily but it's definitely a weekly treat. Fast and accurate service with a smile. I guess you can go on but the drive thru is so cute it's no need to get out. This place is not pricey so well worth the drive.

Iced caramelicious
Ana D.

Been waiting for Scooters for a HOT minute! So excited and glad to have this coffee spot right around the corner. Drive thru only everyone! We love this. Typically we're on the go and just want to stop by somewhere quick so this is a huge perk. I tried the iced caramel delicious and that it was. I'll see it's a little on the sweeter end but I wouldn't call it overbearing. Service was great and the location is well kept. No complaints for our first visit together. We will most definitely be back and maybe grab a treat next time too.

Ike's Love & Sandwiches

Ike's Love & Sandwiches

I had a confusing experience today. When placing my order in store, of two sandwiches, I was asked…read moreto confirm if I wanted lettuce and tomato. I said yes, I want everything as is (included in the description) and to add jalapeños. I was told that sometimes they don't put this on the sandwich, it really depends. I confirmed again that I wanted lettuce and tomato plus jalapeños as I originally ordered. I thought it was strange on the "sometimes they don't put this on the sandwich" ? Well, I got home. There was no lettuce, no tomato and no jalapeños. My husband didn't eat his sandwich due to half of the sandwich being missing.

Despite visiting the store three or four times and speaking with different managers, no one ever helped me redeem it. The free sandwich never showed up on my account, and I never got to use it. On my last visit, not only was I told the reward was expired (even though I never had a chance to use it), but I was also treated rudely by the manager. I ordered the Da Vinci sandwich with specific instructions: lettuce and tomato only, no Italian dressing, and no spicy ingredients. Instead, my sandwich was made loaded with jalapeños, pepperoncinis, and hot peppers hidden under the cheese-- totally opposite of what I asked for. It felt intentional and disrespectful. My dad was worried they would mess with our food and I said I'm not worried b/c I thought they would be more professional. I way underestimated the maturity of those workers. The sandwich was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. These are expensive sandwiches, and I expected better quality and service. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a sandwich shop. I won't be returning to the Cedar Park location --if I ever return to Ike's I'll stick to the Round Rock or North Austin stores instead. Really disappointing experience from a brand I used to love.

Came in hungry, left questioning every other country fried steak I've ever eaten--because this one just ruined the competition. Crispy, tender, smothered in perfection... easily the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt illegal how good it was. Like dessert disguised as breakfast in the best way possible. And don't sleep on the strawberry cream cheese pancakes--they're the kind of good that makes you pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices. Then there are the bacon twists... I don't even have the words. Just order them. Trust me. Shoutout to Olivia, our server--absolute rockstar. Super friendly, on point, and made the whole experience even better. Bottom line: every time we come here, it's a win. Great food, great vibes, great people. If you leave hungry, that's on you.

The good news is there are several places that have waitlists and there are even some places that take reservations so if you're planning includes a time that's likely to attract a lot of diners. I would suggest that would be the way to decide your destination. We did in fact, use the waitlist Sunday at Perky Beans. It allowed us to see how many parties were in front of us and advised that we would be texted when our table was ready. We waited about a half hour in our vehicle until we were texted and then headed in and we were seated immediately. Junny was our server. She seated us and gave us menus. I ordered a Hazelnut Coffee and a Virgin Mary(bloody Mary without the alcohol). My granddaughter ordered Water. We took a few minutes looking over the menus. There were quite a few options. Lots of tempting items, but it's hard for me to turn down biscuits and gravy since I love homemade biscuits and unfortunately mine don't turn out-2 eggs and home fried potatoes accompanied that. My granddaughter ordered the " sample the Eggs Benedict," which offered her the option of choosing two half Benedicts offered-which is a great way to determine your preference. She also opted for the home fried potatoes. Right about then Junny went and got my Virgin Mary, which they had really done up nicely! It was every bit as pretty as the alcoholic version with a nice crisp celery, stick, and a Gerkin pickle, Green olive and fresh Orange section. It was very tasty. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. It was very busy and I think it's difficult to manage the coffee side of the café along with the dining room side especially on a very busy Sunday. (That is why I deducted one star from our rating.) It did appear that they had adequate service staff, of course we couldn't observe the kitchen area so not sure how many cooks. We did enjoy the restaurant as a whole and we do plan to return to order some of the other delicious offerings on the menu. Fantastic to have a great brunch option right in Leander!!!

Sadly -I think the only way we could have gotten seated today was to arrive at 11 for lunch and eat right thru dinner. I'm so disappointed. When we arrived at 5:00pm it was full inside & out. Sadly after asking we were told 25-30". I didn't know then that that is a "standardized" answer but that became evident after standing across from the hostess stand for an hour. I do understand there is no way to tell how long diners will be-it's a guesstimate usually based on average movement + holiday traffic in the establishment. I do have an expectation based on being in my 70's and having experienced hundreds of waits. Great if your seated early-fine if ontime- acceptable at 5-10" over the estimate. Questionable knowledge of their job at 15-20" over and anything 30" & over unacceptable. I began studying the activity. In the hour I stood there I observed 2 vacant tables, and only 4 tables flipped and cleared. A total of 6 parties were seated. 1party was given a table out of turn. I guess they knew one of the 2 hostesses. My perception is that the kitchen was slow getting out the food. All the waitstaff was incredibly patient -and working their tails off. I decided to check on our seating status (we had pager #11). There were still 6 parties ahead of us. No way was I going to wait another hour or more. So disappointing. Never again.
