Apparently you can't get brown rice AND lentils AND salad in the bowl I would've paid extra but they said one or the other... same with wanting salmon AND roasted veggies, not doable... took my opinion of cava down by a lot.

Our usual order is Hawaiian Kalua pork with white rice and Mac salad as well as their grilled Teri chicken. My son also changes his order from time to time for the crispy Katsu chicken (thigh). Portions are hearty! We often get two meals from one entree. Also a big fan of their long skinny (think Tacquito) style veggie egg rolls with the side of housemade sweet n sour sauce. You'll get 5 per order so they are filling and can be a meal themselves. Love the rice noodles inside along with crisp veggies. The kalua pro though? Always tender, slightly Smokey and so satisfying. We often order extra Mac salad as theirs is unique with a touch of sesame seed oil and shredded carrot. We have also enjoyed their wonton soup and their broth is excellent! Big won tons and al dent veggies. It's one of the few places that doesn't serve up a weak broth that needs soy sauce. Great Hawaiian food! We need to try their Thai dishes eventually.

We got the Calamari, Salmon Bowl(she got 2x broccoli for the side, rice), and BBQ combo (chicken, short rib, beef, white rice, macaroni, grilled pineapple). My sister's go to is the Salmon and I haven't heard a single complaint the last 3x she got it(4th time today). The BBQ combo was soooo good, would definitely order again! In order of my meal i'd rank it 1. Short rib 2. Beef 3. Chicken for flavor. I don't like macaroni salad in general so I gave it to my mom who loved it so I'll take her word for it:) The waitress was attentive and helpful (I asked her if the flowers were edible and she was back super quick with a no) Will be back very soon with an appetite because after we pulled out we realized there's a drive through. Delicious with a drive through? Can't beat it.

My last two visits I did buy the extra shrimp because they're having a two dollar special for double protein. Buy one get one $2 more. So I have a giant large salad with double shrimp and it's under $20. Tell me how I can beat that??!! All of the salad dressings are amazing you can't go wrong with any of them. As far as I can tell they seem to be freshly made and I can't think of one that I didn't like! The jalapeño ranch, regular ranch and the ginger dressing are my favorites. People who work here are always so nice as soon as you walk in the door they greet you. They always happily make my salad and don't rush me through the line and give me time to look at everything so I can decide what I want on it. The iced tea and lemonade are always fresh and cold. My favorite is just a plain iced tea it's so nice and refreshing. The restaurant itself is always clean I have never come in and seen a mess. The only thing I have ever come in and seen all over the place is the catering orders. Which is what made me order the wraps. Last week I had some guys working at my house and I picked up this wrap tray to bring them lunch. They were so excited because it was such a hot day and they said they love Salata but never get to go there. These wraps were a big hit on a hot day I highly recommend if you have people you need to feed just order it! They packaged the catering orders so nicely it's really impressive just getting it as a To Go order I highly recommend recommend it.
