The location tucked inside LA Fitness is a little different, but the smoothies are absolutely legit. My little daughter has been on a smoothie kick, so we regularly visit Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Juiceland. We finally popped into Mother Nature's and loved the smoothies. The ingredients are fresher and healthier, and the drinks layer in more interesting flavors than the drinks we get at the corporate competition. The service we received was efficient and barebones. We ordered our drinks and got them a few minutes later. The drawback to this place is the location in a membership gym. I don't think a membership is needed to grab a drink, but it did feel a little weird to be in there in street clothes next to people doing lat pull downs and pumping iron. Also, the hours might not be as expansive as other smoothie shops but this place is worth doing a little planning for. read more

I had a very frustrating experience here. I ordered a smoothie and was surprised at checkout with an added almond milk upcharge that was never mentioned. When I questioned it, the cashier claimed she thought I overheard another customer's order, which is not acceptable. I was clearly not part of that conversation, and she never asked me directly. When I said I didn't want the drink anymore, I was pressured into paying for it anyway, even after the upcharge was removed. She even mumbled about having 14 years of experience, but that doesn't excuse trying to "shark" customers into paying hidden fees. This felt manipulative and unprofessional. Customers should never feel hustled or guilted into paying for something they no longer want, especially when there was no clear communication about extra charges. We really, really love this place. The smoothies are packed with natural ingredients and the fact that my teenager loves 'em is a huge bonus. I recently ordered the Belly Buster which prompted a conversation with Mr. Sharma. I listened intently, he's very knowledgeable. He pointed to a book on the table, which I grabbed and thumbed through. Come to find out, Mr. Sharma is an author! The book is "52 Simple Ways to Prevent, Control and Turn Off Cancer". It's a heavy topic, but the pictures in there liven it up. It really is a fantastic book. There's a plethora of smoothies to choose from. I'm pretty loyal to the Belly Buster and the Mango Protein Powder (my kid's favorite). If you like coffee, they have the Coffee Break Smoothie (haven't had it, but it's next on my list). This place is a hidden gem, and I wouldn't have found it without Yelp. It's located inside the Lifetime Fitness, and I'm not a member so I haven't ever had a reason to go in. I used to juice a lot and still have my juicer, but it's a lot of work that I don't want to do at 5am when I'm getting ready for work. Fortunately for me this place is located just down the street from my station where I am 4 days a week. This review is for the juice, I haven't tried the smoothies yet, but they look great. The juice was delicious, and made that day. The down side is you can't just go in, pick a juice, and have it made in front of you (like Daily Juice); they have a seasonal juice they make every day, and that's what you get. Also the juice isn't ready until later in the day (around 11/ noon). I like to drink my juice first thing in the morning, so this is a downside. They sell 32oz options that are good for 4 days, so now I just have my juice in the afternoon the first day, and then I have the leftovers in the morning for the next 3 days. The prices are comparable to what you pay for bottled juices in the grocery store, and much better than most places that serve fresh, cold pressed juice. Also, the owner was really nice, and very knowledgeable. Edit: I just went in today after writing this review and the owner has changed his juice method. Now he preps all the fruit and veggies ahead of time (for the 32oz size) and stores them in clear bins in the fridge. Now he juices it fresh when you order it, and it only takes about 5 minutes. I absolutely love each and every smoothie I have had from Mother Nature's Cafe. I admire the way it tastes so great and yet has such good health benefits. My personal favorite is the turmeric honey nectar- it has helped me with sleep, cold, pains and aches. You can have it with milk, use it as a spread and even tastes great with almond milk. My other favorite is Belly buster - I could feel my body detox and felt the difference in my body in just 1 week. Must have is the mango protein power! I feel like I am having a sweet dish without it being unhealthy. I have tried a lot of smoothies across the US but this is by far the best smoothie cafe I have come across. I've been living in Round rock for 2 years and for 2 years, I have checked in with the owner periodically. He is absolutely gifted in helping people, uses some of natures best ingredients, and tonight I had the opportunity to take home what is in my opinion a box with a cure inside. After fasting for 3 days, I will admit my self control wasn't there and I slipped back into severe sugar cravings. Yes a hidden gem! I will go to this place even if I don't work out at LA Fitness. It's like a Whole Foods smoothie but much better! I had the mango turmeric drink and loved it so much I came back the next day to have another. The care and attention to the ingredients and the quality are just what I look for in a health bar. This is definitely one of my favorite smoothie cafes. The smoothies and juices are SO fresh, and the flavors are well-blended and delicious. You can see that everything is fresh and natural just by looking inside their refrigerator. No powders or pre-made mixes... they use only real fruits and vegetables.
