This Teapioca location needs to improve their customer service and ingredient quality or they will continue to lose business. Teapioca is a chain so when I spotted one in this shopping center late last night I went in to check it out. The customer service was unbelievably awful. I walked up to the cash register where the only menu was and looked through briefly to make sure nothing changed since my last visit. After only being there a few seconds the cashier rudely said "are you going to order ma'am?". Since when is that ever in a script to say to customers? I was so taken aback I wanted to leave but I quickly ordered and still tipped well, after which her attitude suddenly became friendlier. I went back to look at the menu again and she asked "would you like to order anything else?" I said "no, I want to finish looking at the menu since I was rushed". The drink wasn't even good. Lychee jelly tasted sour and bad. It is highly unlikely I will give this establishment any more of my business and I recommend that others go elsewhere. read more

For starters, the service is awesome. So friendly and welcoming. Their website is also very easy to navigate so you can place an order and pick it up right when it's ready. I had a seasonal chai tea and added ice cream and it was fantastic. My wife loves the mango smoothie. You almost can't go wrong with whatever you order and if you're a first timer or are not sure, the staff will be glad to make a recommendation. The inside has plenty of seating for individuals or small groups. It is comfortable and not too noisy. For my money, Teapioca Lounge in Round Rock is the best tea/boba place around! read more

There are so many options at this franchise and I haven't really gotten anything bad, although I usually do go for my tarot tea. Last time I did get a fruit tea with some fruit jellies and I was agonizing for the longest over what decisions to make because there's so many customizations so the girl at the register was very helpful and gave me a few suggestions which I appreciated. Tried the red panda thai tea and the cherry blossom lemonade. The lemonade was VERY artificial/ syrup tasting. The red panda thai tea honestly wasn't too bad. Boba quality is pretty standard. Not the best place to study because it's pretty loud and there's not a lot of seating. Love the red panda statue inside though. My name is jose, and I visited your Teapioca Lounge location on Thursday, October 17th, around 3:30 p.m. While I was there, I witnessed an upsetting situation involving a disabled veteran and his service dog. When the veteran entered, an employee told him that animals weren't allowed inside. The gentleman calmly explained that his dog was a trained service animal protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Despite this, the employee continued to insist that he wait outside and even asked for an ID for the dog, which is not legally required. The veteran remained polite and tried to educate the worker about the law, but the situation became very uncomfortable to watch. Other customers noticed what was happening, and it was clear the man felt embarrassed and unwelcome -- which was disheartening to see. As a customer, I felt compelled to share this experience because it highlighted a real need for better understanding and training regarding service animals and disability rights and people who rely on service animals should never be made to feel ashamed for simply going about their day. I hope your management team can review this incident, clarify your company's policy on service animals, and ensure that staff receive proper ADA training so situations like this don't happen again. I don't drink boba very much, so it was a nice way to spice things up. The drink was good and it was nice to try something different for a change, away from other drink shops like Starbucks. I must say that the drink was great and staff was friendly. My special lemonade was good, possibly high for $7, and the drink was sweet, with no real % option at least for that drink option. The only concern I had was the menu, there was no pricing until a small menu in the front, having transparent pricing, size information and other details would be very helpful to the consumer. Quick and fast boba shop located in a plaza. Stopped here on my way to Waco, TX from Austin. They say things are bigger in Texas and that's true since I ordered a large and it was 44 ounces!! Got a Chai Boba Tea with boba and egg pudding. Definitely huge and had excess when I finished my trip. They have all the fixings and can do a lot of customization as well. I also noticed that they sell sweet ice too! Would like to try that out another time. Good stop to make if traveling! read more

Delicious and refreshing milky flurries! One flurry can be shared between 2-3 people. Our orders: durian, mango, and coconut. They really live up to its name: flurries. It's as fine and smooth as snow. Durian is the best flavor of all, you can really taste the strong durian flavor. Mango comes in right behind durian - it's fruity and creamy. Coconut is very mild, which we won't order again next time. Condense milk drizzle is a must as it really enhances the sweetness and flavor of the flurries. It's considered an additional sweetener and has no extra cost to it. Each additional topping is $0.75, but we don't care for anything else. Highly recommend you to try these flurries if you haven't. I came here today with Thing two and ordered three items, which included two slushy and one smoothie. The pear slushy I tried didn't seem to have any taste. However, according to Thing two, the smoothie she ordered was amazing. The prices for the items here seem to be a little bit steep for what is offered. I have had better slushies elsewhere for sure and for lower price points. But, most folks don't come here for sulshies I'm sure. While visiting, I came here in search of boba in the Round Rock area. I found this place and it's other locations to be similar to Teahouse in Houston. They've got a large menu and lots of variety. I also noticed they have shaved ice, which I've never tried but seems more and more tempting with every visit. At Teapioca, I get the Momo Peach Tea or Grapefruit Green Tea with 70% sweetness, less ice, and boba/ herbal jelly. Both drinks are refreshing and always made right at this location. read more

My group ordered a bunch of drinks and after trying them I would say their tea itself if not very strong so if you want something that has a darker tea flavor I would go somewhere else, if you are craving something sweet this would be the place to go. The boba is itself is pretty tasty which is nice because it can be difficult to find a place that makes boba soft and chewy. The selection of shaved ice, teas, and smoothies is only limited by your imagination. The employees were friendly and willing to answer questions. The time from when we ordered until when we received our drinks was about four minutes. The store itself is set up for patrons to sit and enjoy the ambiance and (hopefully) order something else? They have board games and table top games that can be played and enjoyed by the customers and they also have charging stations for personal electronics (cafe style.). If I lived in this area, this would definitely be a "go-to" spot for me. read more

The location we used to go to was further south down in the Parmer/Metric plaza so this is a nice addition to the list of boba tea places we can go to. Ordering is simple: 1. Grab a menu 2. Decide what you would like [always takes a longer time to do this step than any other one for some reason] 4. Order and pay with any one of the nice cashiers at the register 5. Smile and watch as they mix up your toppings, drinks and whatever else you added back to your drink back in step 2 6. My review for this location is very similar to their Parmer Lane location. After all, they are the same franchise. I stop by this location after my Pilates classes at ToddPilates next door. The location also gets points for being super convenient to a lot of great restaurants (Flix Brewhouse, several Chinese/Indian places, some fast food). So you can easily stop by for dessert after a meal. Authentic Flavor - 5/5 The ratio of fruit juice to tea is also perfect - not overbearing one way or the other. And if you want to get super authentic, they offer plain teas as well (e.g. just tea and boba, without flavour or milk). These are their "premium" tea drinks and include varieties like osmanthus, earl grey, chai, ginger honey, bai mudan, oolong, hibiscus, chamomile, yerba mate, and more. As a former tea snob (I probably tried everything in Teavana at least once), this was amazing. It doesn't get more authentic than this. Their coffee teas are also made with a distinctive coffee flavour - none of this milk-overpowered "latte" flavour. And if you want milk tea, they have that too! Their smoothies are also delicious. Boba Flavor & Consistency - 5/5 It is a rare occasion when a cafe gets boba perfect, but Teapioca Lounge is as close to it as I've seen anyone get. They encourage social distancing during COVID and everyone seemed respectful of that (so thank you, neighbors). I love their matcha drinks and excited to discover they offer Stevia as an alternative sweetener. The tapioca are always cooked and flavored to my liking and I enjoy the almond pudding in my taro coconut smoothies. The guy helping us at the register was super friendly, cheerful, and projected his voice well so you can hear and understand him through his mask. I do not recommend this teapioca location to anyone who gets military discount. We used to love this location for its customer service and great smoothies/drinks. Last time we came here there seemed to be new staff in place. We didn't think anything of it until our cashier had started to check us out, applied military discount to our order, and told us to follow directions on the key pad. Our card was in the machine processing when an unfamiliar face walked up to us, cancelled our transaction, whispered something to the cashier and proceeded to walk away without a word. We were in shock. Brushed it off, payed for our drinks with a discount on only one of our drinks and left the store. Now we decided to come back and give this location another chance. We were failed once again. The same lady who cancelled our transaction was eyeing us down the entire time and had another girl working tell the cashier we could only do a discount on one drink. Never did the girl who initiated the cancellation of our prior purchase or the delay of our new one say a word to us. I find this completely rude and inappropriate to not tell your customers why you are charging them more when we continue to come back. We will not be visiting this location again due to the change in staff that has disappointed us twice now. read more

I'm writing an update review but I'm still keeping it 3 stars. I'm not convinced that I love Teapioca again yet. An update from my previous review about the punch card. They got the a system where they take your phone number. It's the Five Stars app which I use for a few different places. Since it's my birthday I got a reward for a free beverage so I redeemed today after I went to dinner. The guy at the counter was nice. I got my drink pretty quick but I was getting the vibe the other 2 people before me that they had been waiting awhile. My go to beverage is the Taro Cream with baby tapioca. I used to get the regular size but one day they were out and so I settled on the babies. It's my new favorite. It's easier to drink and not overwhelming. My drink was ready so I picked up my cup and got into my car. As I was sipping in my car I noticed that I was get purple liquid all over my pants and in my car. This was so confusing to me because the top is sealed shut. I was inspecting my cup and saw that my cup was sliced at the top vertically. I drank quickly to the liquids away from the sliced part of the cup. Happy Birthday to me with my free, jacked up cup from Teapioca. Come on y'all get it together. 44oz of bubble tea? Get the heck outta here! OMG this is amazing. Teapioca doesn't only have a larger than life portion, but they also have a variety of tasty drinks. I ordered the taro cream tea with tapioca and my husband did a build your own with black tea, lychee flavor, and lychee bursters. All I can say is YUM! It was so delicious! I'm so glad they have massive cups because we can't get enough! Beyond the great drinks, their service is phenomenal. The person who rang us up with super kind and very attentive. I personally do not enjoy the tea here. I like to try out different establishments that sell milk tea and this place is not to my liking. The tea drinks here are coffee based, which you can tell by a good portion of the drinks on the menu. They also don't advertise their drinks as milk tea but instead, as "blast" tea. At first I thought this was them trying to be hip and cool, but in reality, it was them telling you that it is not what you'll be expecting. Even though I'm not a fan of their drinks, they do have excellent service with friendly employees. It's also cool how they have board and card games for customers to play if they want to stay for awhile. If you like coffee based drinks, this is the place for you.
