The Baristas were fun to watch create drinks, very precise, professional and caring about doing their best job. After we ordered we took a table and to our surprise, they delivered the drinks and desserts to our table. Very nice service and a charming and positive staff. I definitely recommend them and can't wait to go back for more!

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

This frappe tasted exactly like a 'fluffy' oreo; just devine. On the other hand, I ordered the creme brulee souffle pancake. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to try this Japanese delight, the name is what it implies; a creamy stack of pancakes with crunchy bitter caramel, and silky vanilla custard. This dessert happened to be accompanied by a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. These pancakes melted in my mouth and each bite was just as good as the one that preceded it. He trains and coaches all the baristas at Lamppost and has definitely made an impact in making Lamppost one of the best coffee shops in the Williamson County area. This flight had three incredible drinks: the standard espresso shot, the milk and espresso drink (a cortado), and the show-stopping signature beverage that I could drink 30 of in one sitting. As for a regular experience at this Lamppost location, it's a really cozy shop with plenty of co-working space and just a generally great vibe. Long live Lamppost!
