I was back on this side of town and popped in to grab a hot tea. I was the only customer and the drive thru was very slow. I was surprised. I was greeted kindly and my mobile order was acknowledged. The store was very clean and is well designed for seating and drink ordering--everything is clearly separated. There's also adequate space for people to wait for their drinks. The baristas were working well with each other. One was handling restocking and cleaning, one was handling the drive thru orders, and one was actively handling drinks. No one had idle hands. It didn't take long for my tea to be ready and I was off. This is a strong store. read more

The Starbucks on Louis Henna was often a go-to place when I was living temporarily in Round Rock. This place ran like a top: I'd place my drink and food order as I jumped in the car and it was almost always waiting for me when I arrived. The items were always made correctly and staff went out of their way to welcome me. Recently visited here after a long break and while the staff does a pretty good job, the service was a bit slower than usual. Maybe the weekend crews are not at the same level as weekdays. Over the past 4 years of me going to this location it has consistently gone down hill in just about every way. Drinks are VERY hit or miss (mostly miss), I have to take my drinks back easily more than half the time, and the times I don't are because I don't have the time to do so. I also just get Carmel macchiatos, so probably the most basic drink they're making haha. The employees used to be insanely nice, today's completely ignored me when I asked them a question. I really only use them for their points nowadays, and the fact that I know I can get my drink fixed if it's messed up, or I'd be going local to Dazzle or something. I have been to this location mainly to hit the drive thru line and the service has been amazing! Today? Hhhmmmmm I came in the evening and sat in the lobby to discuss Pokémon Go JK! I had a business related meeting this evening so I wanted to try an item from their evening menu. I went with the chicken skewers and passion tango tea. I waited for about ten minutes and I didn't hear my name nor did I see my food. The inside area was not packed at all so I am assuming maybe they were busy with drive thru. The skewers came out first then after ten more minutes I went up to the counter to look for my tea. Not sure if they forgot my order or it got lost. No explanation or apology. I had to give them my order all over again. At that point, it only took a minute or so to get it made. This location is pretty great so I am not sure about the mishap this evening. read more

Slow slow slow! What is the point of a Starbucks drive thru when you're sitting for countless minutes to get your dang coffee. Also when I got my pink drink, there were yellowed disintegrating strawberries in it. The kind staff member offered to make me a new one, which I accepted, but the strawberries are the best part! He said something about them looking funny, and I'm thinking to myself "then why did you put them in there?" Oh well. The pink drink is like my crack so still worth the wait. I'll first start out with there are no issues with employees or the quality of the drinks. I would say actually the staff puts a smile on my face and makes me feel very welcome. It's the MANAGER. The manager that works Tuesdays at around 11:00/11:30 am speaks very poorly to her staff in front of customers. The place wasn't busy at all and this lady storms out of her "office" yells at her employees with out even taking her face from her phone then getting in her car and leaving. It was obvious that she was not paying attention to her surroundings and the fact every customer looked up and spoke about her attitude to her employees says a lot. I believe one man use the term "B**ch energy". PLEASE TEACH YOUR MANAGERS TO TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES WITH RESPECT. It's not what you say it's how you say it and how you treat those around you. I totally get why this place only has 2 1/2 stars. Seriously?! I am not feeling that great and have had a long day at work. I asked my husband to pick me up a Double Chocolaty Chip Blended Creme (which is what I always get). I'm the one who usually gets it for myself so he didn't know that they made it incorrectly. It's supposed to be a dark, chocolate color and taste yummy. How on earth does someone who works all day with different drinks mess this up? They were incredibly busy with long lines in and outside, yet my order was still ready early! They keep them behind the bar so that no one can steal them. I told the worker my name. The coffee at this location is hit or miss, the staff really isn't all that great either. They all look mopey and don't hardly say anything after "welcome to starbucks, how can I take your order" seriously though. & the last time I went I didn't get my card back but pulled forward to check my car quickly before pulling off, went inside and they gave me a $5 gift card & explained they charged my card for my drink and paid for the next order because THEY NEVER TOOK MY CARD OUT. Sometimes the barista makes awesome drinks, sometimes they don't, today's were excellent. My wife had the pumpkin spice frappichino light, this is one Starbucks that still has some of this seasonal concoction. I had a hot cinnamon dolce coffee with heavy whipping cream and two splendas and both drinks were done very well, we like this location 'cause it's close to one of our favorite places to eat....Pho Viet. Sometimes they're really crowded for lunch, no problem, come to starbucks for a cool or hot one to kill a little time and before you know it the lunchers have left. read more

I'm here in around Rock visiting family, stopped by on our way to Corpus Christi to see my nephew. Ordered the Smoked Caramel Latte...Iced! I always have iced coffees, I don't alway get flavored though, I my usual is iced Americano with half n half and two splendas. But this got my attention, I'm in Texas and it said smoked... Lol! Yeah like it was BBQed. Anyway it was good, to my surprise it wasn't as sweet as I thought, generally the caramel drinks are very sweet but this was just right. I love the fact that you can go to any SB's and you know what you're going to get when you order it. Never a bad cup of coffee, consistent and reliable. Thank you SB's Round Rock Tx! Great location, easy access, very friendly staff, the young man at the door (SB's staffer) opened and held the door for my wife, mother in-law, brother in-law and myself. Usually pretty good but the last few days I've been here, service has been extremely slow.

Soooo... it's Starbucks. I don't expect anything to be phenomenal & I'm okay with a long line. However, today was the third time in one week that my order has been completely incorrect! I'll pay 5 bucks per coffee since it's on my way to church and work- but I sincerely dislike paying that price only to find out once I'm already out of the drive thru line, that my order is completely wrong! Instance 1: venti iced green tea, no classic, 2 Splenda. They put both in it and I had to throw it out. Instance 2: grande gingerbread latte, nonfat milk, no whipped cream. Barista tells me it doesn't come with whip, ok cool! Girl at the window tells me she was wrong and then remakes it. I got a caramel something latte with whipped cream, and someone else's name on it. Didn't notice til I got to work. Threw it out. Today: grande gingerbread latte, nonfat milk, no whipped cream. I should've known that i should've checked before pulling out of the drive thru line! Ended up at work with a sad, decaf latte that I threw in the garbage! Greenlawn Starbucks: you SUCK! Worst of the worst. Nowhere to file complaints, either, or recoup the $15 or so wasted here. So I'll just warn everyone else! read more

I LOVE the hibiscus tea, I order it often, this location asks if i want it sweet or unsweet? I tell them none of the other locations have ever asked but i would like it sweet. Spent over 5 minutes talking to the barista trying to figure out why my cup was over half empty, but she didn't seem to think it was an issue. Now, I know the behavior of the customers isn't really Starbuck's fault. But since Starbucks is Starbucks and it always has great drinks and munchies, I would beg to differ. The space is really small and one girl took up four seats for just her. Another two gentlemen sitting in two of the four the comfy chairs moved their chairs in such a way that it completely blocked anyone from sitting in the remaining two chairs. I probably saw 30 people come and go searching for a spot to sit. The line, while long, moved quickly. However, I waited for about ten minutes to actually get my drink. I go to this Starbucks every morning and not only is the drive thru fast and on point but the staff is amazing! They know me when I order my drink and offer recommendations when my drink is unavailable which has only happened during the ice storm last year. There is another Starbucks directly across the street from my work but because of the staff at this location I refuse to go to any other location! I love Starbucks, and have been to many of their locations around Austin and Round Rock. This particular store is the one nearest to my house, but it's also the ONE Starbucks that I no longer go to, because in the past year or so, there have just been too many times when they've messed up my order or given me bad customer service. I do like some of the staff here, and to be fair, I've had plenty of good experiences. But I've also had more bad experiences here than at any other Starbucks. Funnily enough, my sister, who lives in the same area, recently told me that she has also stopped going to this Starbucks, for the same reason. Specifically, it turns out we've both had multiple bad customer service experiences with one particular barista (a youngish guy with a slight beard), who is often vaguely sarcastic and who, on separate occasions, has made fun of both my car and my sister's car when we were at the drive-thru window. Fortunately, another Starbucks recently opened just a couple of blocks away on A.W. Grimes, and the service is much better there. read more

This new location has a drive thru, which I absolutely love. Every time I go, no matter if its 7am or 2pm, they drive thru is not jammed packed. Usually there are only 2 cars ahead of me at the most. The inside is about the same size as most of the other locations. Everyone here is always really friendly and polite. When I come during lunch I like to get the grilled cheese sandwich to go with my coffee. Also, if you frequent any starbucks often, you may want to look into the rewards card program, as you can get free refills on certain drink if you stay in the building. Great for those who stay for a few hours to study or whatever. read more
