I was hoping and wondering where I can get good boba now that I'm not in Los Angeles anymore. Fortunately, I found this gem. Thank goodness they have other locations around the ATX area. This place certainly does the job and has all the variety I need and want. Mango Tea with boba please. It wasn't as sweet as I thought, just how I like it. So I generally love this place. Come here at least once a week. Today I forgot my mask. Walked in with my jacket over my face asking if they could give me one. She said they didn't have any to give out and that she couldn't serve me without a mask but that I was "welcome to place an order online." Come on man. I'm not even an anti masker I just forgot my mask. You have a whole plexi barrier between you and me. I work in retail. We randomly dropped by here on the drive from Austin back to Dallas, and I'm really glad we did! Anyone who knows me knows that I have a boba obsession. In this cafe, there are a bunch of tables to seat at, and it looks very clean. I ordered the jasmine cream tea (which is essentially green milk tea) with boba, 1/2 sugar. The drink came out quickly, and it was pretty good. The jasmine milk tea was very creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. However, the boba was a little disappointing, unsweet, and mushy (maybe I'm just used to honey boba now?). I also liked how this place has a shelf full of board games for you to play while you wait for your drinks or if you just want to hang out with friends! read more

I love Teapioca Lounge. This place always appears very clean and the AC is cranked nice and cool inside. My drinks have consistently been delicious and well crafted (my favorite is the Taro cream blast boba). My biggest complaint about this place is the fact that they sometimes take quite a while to make my boba- especially when there are more than three customers in the store. They do have a couple games in the corner and it's a good place to hang out with friends. However, I would be remiss if I did not give them the highest of praises. I left my entire wallet in their restroom one night and I called back, roughly an hour later, and IT WAS STILL THERE! So I guess I don't get this place. I ended up here because I wanted a smoothie and was going to be a Men's Warehouse and this was the closest place. I send our daughter in to grab a menu, so she comes back with it and it's huge. I'm apprehensive about it because there are tons of items and I'm not interested in any of them and the smoothie selection is weak. I ask for a raspberry smoothie and she comes back with this huge drink and it's got a sealed plastic top. So I try it, it's SUPER sweet, practically gross sweet. I drank about 1/4 of it because I honestly wasn't sure what it was made out of . I definitely won't go back there for a smoothie and wouldn't recommend it. read more

After countless visits at bubble tea places throughout the Austin area, Teapioca Lounge is still our favorite. They're not perfect, but definitely the best value for the price/taste, and most consistent in Austin. We've been going here for at least 3 years now, and are always satisfied or better each time. Some of our favorites include the classic Cream Blastea with tapioca and the Taro Milk Tea. The classic Cream Blastea always uses very high quality Jasmine tea that is brewed nicely and has a strong flavor profile. The Cream Blastea that I got today was perfectly made, not too sweet, not too milky, and had just the right balance of tea and milk ratio. What makes the Blasteas different than regular milk teas at other places, is that they are shaken vigorously using a shaker machine for a well-blended drink. The only minor complain is that the bubbles could be a little hard at times, and could be more soft and chewy. Even though the wait time could be a little long during peak hours, it's surely worth the time. This location in particular also has rotating promos (ex. 25% off your purchase with student ID, buy 1 drink get 1 for $1, etc), which we love! Be sure to check their whiteboard located near the board games to view the promos. And always ask for a stamp card too! For every 10 stamps, you get 1 drink for free :) Overall, nothing beats Teapioca Lounge for drink quality, price, and atmosphere. The place is a great place to hang out, play board games (they have a small collection for use), or even study. We love their drinks and will continue to come back for sure! read more

Although my girlfriend enjoyed her Taro Coconut Smoothie with Boba, but I had some other feelings about their Thai Tea with Boba. Thai Tea is my favorite flavor and a classic for many, but Teapioca couldn't get the flavor right at all, no flavor. The service and lounge is nice, but my tea was lame. My favorite boba place in town! They have the biggest menu and (i think) the only place that sells durian smoothie made with real durian in Austin. I usually get the honeydew, taro, or durian smoothie. They have board/card games to play there. For desserts, they have shaved ice, which I've never had, but this means they have a lot of toppings to choose from even for your drinks! read more

Not impressed by the bubble tea here, but it is a convenient location in the mall where you can grab a bubble tea and sit down to rest. Almond milk tea- almond flavor tasted artificial, no richness in the drink Milk tea with grass jelly- The milk tea itself tasted water down, both the milk and tea flavors are quite flat. The grass jelly is slightly sweet, and not bad. Staff is very friendly, especially the girl who might be the manager. She answers all our questions and gave us recommendations on their popular drinks, and wears a smile the whole time. This was my first time ever coming to this location and to this company. I actually went in around 9:55 and they close at ten o'clock. Normally most places would turn you away, but the staff was so kind to still regardless that it was an inconvenience let me order a drink. The wait wasn't long at all, and the smoothie I ordered was Delicious! (: But one of the things that really struck out to me was when I was waiting for my drink some lady tried to come in and order. The open sign was already off and one of the workers shut down the register. This woman was trying to get the staff to let her order a drink and wouldn't stop pestering them about how I was not "Customer Centric" that they wouldn't let her order a drink even though it was 10:04 and they closed at ten. The staff member was very respectful and kept a good calm attitude when he was talking with the lady. He was explaining how he couldn't reopen the register or ring her up at all. She even suggested them make her a drink and then having her pay the next day which he told her he couldn't do. She was getting so frustrated she wanted to talk to a manager, but turns out he was the manager. He in my opinion did a great job when he was talking with this woman and even mentioned when he was explaining the store procedures that he wouldn't let any of his staff do what she was suggesting so he wouldn't do it ether. All in all the staff was very excellent, the drink I had was very delicious, and I plan on making this Tea Lounge my go to place. I would recommend it to everyone who wanted to grab a Bubble Tea! The boba is really good and chewy. (Some other boba places don't know how to do it right.) But my favorite is the "nada" series of smoothies where they put chile powder and chamoy. I'm not sure if they're only here for the summer but they are delicious. I always get the fresa-nada and sandia-nada with strawberry bursters, but I'm sure the mango-nada is good too. read more

I decided to order an iced empire earl grey tea with dairy creamer. Holy cow my world has changed! In the past 2 weeks I've ordered this drink 3 times! The tea taste isn't too pungent and the milkiness/sweetness are just right! I think I just had not been ordering correctly. You know how not all bubble joints are the same, so I think you need to keep taste testing drinks at each joint to find the right one for you. I used to love teapioca back then but with lots of other major places like gongcha, sharetea, feng cha, etc. opening up in Austin, I can't help but think that this place has become bit outdated when it comes to their drink selections. Most of their drinks have the same creamy base which makes them all taste the same. They don't even offer milk caps/foam and their boba is a hit or miss. I used to go to their parmer location and really enjoyed its atmosphere as it felt pretty welcoming. However as they expanded... service and product have gone downhill. I came to the round rock location and honestly left a bit disappointed. Service sucks here. You can tell people just hate working here as they got a pretty bad attitude. No complaints on the drinks! I've tried bubble tea, green tea, and some smoothies and they've all turned out pretty good. Might go to is the taroand avocado smoothie with stevia. That being said their customer service really suffers both in person and over the phone. You very much get the impression that you just irritate the hell out of the staff no matter what. If you have a question, they are rarely helpful about answering it or offering suggestions. If you want a substitution it's like pulling teeth to get them to do it. Bad experience. I ordered my drinks online and even though my order was correct online, they made the wrong drink and refused to refund me, or make it right unless I came back that same day during peak traffic. When I got there, the most ridiculous thing happened, I asked for a full drink to make it right with the tapioca and I was told, no since I had consumed half of the drink already. I couldn't believe it! As if I had bought a car and driven it for a year, brought it back and asked for a new one. I mean we're taking about a drink worth $7 that you screwed up! You can't make it right!? She said, unfortunately no. I'm let down everytime I visit teapioca at all their locations. The teas are very watered down and even when I request little ice, they disregard it. They can't make a decent or even an average milk tea and if it wasn't for meeting a colleague here, I wouldnt ever step foot in another teapioca lounge. I've followed my Yelp buddie's reviews on this Teapioca Lounge in Austin and than they opened one up in the Rock. We came in after a Chicago dog and an Italian dipped beef sammy in the same strip mall, i'm trying to figure out why it took me so long to partake of one of these amazing drinks. My better wifely half had the Cafe Bac Xiu...coffee with condensed milk...of the frozen and blended variety. It was very good, she didn't get any tapioca 'cause she's a commy...i mean...she doesn't like the chew. I had the frozen blended cappucino with the tapioca 'cause i do like the chew....brings me back to my childhood when i'd open some cracker jacks and there's a prize! These drinks have a lot of little prizes. Go between Monday thru Thursday, between 10am and 2 pm...buy two get 1 free!!! When the lady gave us our drinks we asked where do we put the straws...there's no hole in the top lid....she said stab it with the pointy ended straw...cool! They were giving out free samples of a little fish shaped pastry filled with cream fiilling, good, think of it as a Korean version of the Hostess twinkie but a lot less sugary. read more

I've been here several times and of I freaking forget my rewards card one more time I'm going to tape it to my car. Annoying! This time I tried the watermelon juice with lychee jelly and Yes honey! That is the way to go. Although I wish it was much colder, I still enjoyed my drink. It was so fresh and you can taste the watermelon.
