From the pictures I assumed mine would be hot and hers cold. We received both drinks cold. I was puzzled and then we explained to them we wanted hot for mine and showed the picture from the online menu. They just took the drink and remade it. Typically if a drink can be served at different temperatures that is clarified during the order taking step. We also stated we were first timers so that prob would have helped as well. After moving to the area and trying their coffee more frequently, my tune has changed on them, and I can say that they are pretty good. Their seasonal drinks are usually what I gravitate toward, like their Orange Chocolate Cortado, their Mr. and Mrs. Claus they served recently, and an espresso tonic I had earlier last year that was great. Their specialty Lamba Latte is one of the best consistent things on their menu. What is their Lamba syrup? I could not tell you, but it is a moderate sweetness that does not taste exactly like a vanilla latte. It has some marshmallow flavors and some caramel flavors as well. What I like most about Lamppost is how bright and naturally well lit their space is. The large windows and doors face the east, so once the sun has risen, you get a pretty well illuminated space by the afternoon. It is great for team meetings, remote work, and anything in between.
