The ladies who helped us were kind, friendly, helpful, fast, and very welcoming. The overall decor and vibe of the place was beautiful. Very elegant, clean, and thoughtfully put together. After moving to the area and trying their coffee more frequently, my tune has changed on them, and I can say that they are pretty good. Their seasonal drinks are usually what I gravitate toward, like their Orange Chocolate Cortado, their Mr. and Mrs. Claus they served recently, and an espresso tonic I had earlier last year that was great. Their specialty Lamba Latte is one of the best consistent things on their menu. What is their Lamba syrup? I could not tell you, but it is a moderate sweetness that does not taste exactly like a vanilla latte. It has some marshmallow flavors and some caramel flavors as well. What I like most about Lamppost is how bright and naturally well lit their space is. The large windows and doors face the east, so once the sun has risen, you get a pretty well illuminated space by the afternoon. It is great for team meetings, remote work, and anything in between.
