Went here on a weekend, and there wasn't a very long line. I noticed while waiting in line that the store is very small. While you are waiting in line, you block the exit and stand right next to all the tables, so if people are sitting at the table you are standing right next to, that can be awkward. I got their Mango Coco float; the twas on their top 5 drinks. The drink itself tasted artificial; the mango flavoring they use did not taste like mango, and I was not able to finish it. So that tells me they don't use real fruit in their drinks at all. I didn't taste or see any real mango in my drink, and also most of the cup was filled with sago. In the description of the drink, there was no mention of crystal boba, but I did have some in my drink. Overall, they need to reorganize the inside of the store to make it feel bigger with the limited space. They also need to work on maybe incorporating real fruit into their drinks and learning what goes into the drinks as well.

I love the vibe, the concept and all, My daughter loved it, I just wish it had more space to sit but you know, maybe they'll add more stores here in Austin area. Boba drinks are so cool, colorful and tasty. Definitely coming back .b

Such a cute new boba spot! Love their royal milk tea with the brown sugar boba. The decor is adorable too.

I had the royal milk tea with coffee jellies at 50% sweetness; it was absolutely perfect with great balance and flavor. The claw machines were also a lot of fun to play and really added to the experience. I will definitely be back.

We love it at Boba Cucue!! We had awesome boba drinks while playing fun games and having a great time! We will definitely come back!!

Everything about this place is amazing! The drinks we had were delicious, the waffle pops are soo fluffy and yummy, & playing the claw games while waiting for our treats was so much fun! They have the cutest little toys and treats to buy too! Definitely check out this cute spot, so many different drink and treat options to choose from, you're sure to find your new favorite here!

A good option for milk tea in the Leander area. Quick and friendly service. The space is cute, with many games and other toys/accessories you can purchase. The store is clean and well-organized.

The best experience ever! The owner was super sweet and patient. Was short staffed and still made our drinks top tier, my little one didn't like the flavor so helped with replacing tea with a new one. Teas were so good and refreshing this will be our new go to place for boba. The fresh fruit was so delicious and customer service outstanding! Will be coming here again. The shop is a little small but super clean and super cute!

Mango coco float and claw machine prizes

We started going to this boba shop during their soft opening, and we absolutely love their drinks. They are fairly priced for the inclusions. The staff is friendly and kind. The claw machines are stuffed with many cute prizes that are worth the $$ and not rigged. Very kid friendly and family oriented. We are and will remain regulars! Our favourite orders: taro bao bun, mango coco float, melon milk bubble, and galaxy rainbow soda. We just tried their pork dumplings and chicken siu mei and they were also delicious!

The store is cute and the teas we had were good, but there were a few odd things about the store. First, if yoy go online, all the other locations look big and spacious with several claw machines - this shop, while still cute, was very small and cramped. Since the website advertises an "experience" rather than just a boba tea shop, this was disappointing. Second, if you google this store, and go to their website, they have a food menu consisting of bao, dumplings, etc. It's even posted on the signage of the store itself. But while ordering, we were informed that they do not in fact sell food. Third, they have a lot of cute merch in the store for sale, but there wasn't a single price on anything, and I don't understand why. If I have to ask you the price, I'm just not going to buy anything.

Ordering is still done with the QR code so we had one person order all the food and then we split the bill afterwards. You have to pay first before the order gets sent to the kitchen. The service has improved slightly, with us being so close to the kitchen. We were able to flag down servers to help us get an extra plate, tea cups, etc. Got a variety of dim sum classics: hargow (shrimp dumpling), siu mai, rice noodles, custard buns, chicken feet, chow fun, egg tarts, soy sauce noodles, charsiu bao, turnip cake My favorites are the siu mai, chow fun and custard buns! They also have non-traditional dim sum dishes such as soup dumplings, which actually originated from Shanghai. We got them and they were ok. We ordered a second time to get more custard buns but it seemed they ran out so it took some time for them to make them fresh. When they finally came, the buns were not smooth and it really looks like the custard was about to burst. Someone bit into theirs and the custard exploded onto their shirt. However, we all had a good laugh and still enjoyed the food. Have to have tea during dim sum so we also got our puer and chrysanthemum tea mix. Not sure if they usually charge for this, but we got it complimentary! Yay! If you are familiar with dim sum, then you know these are smaller dishes meant to be shared among the group! Everybody ate and was satisfied. Each person paid about $25 after tip! There's a designated parking lot with lots of spots. If you are looking for a dim sum spot that is not too busy, this is the place to go to!

A special occasion called for a special menu: it was my wife's 60th birthday party, and she is a Fire Horse woman -- born in the year of the Fire Horse, turning 60 in the year the cycle completes. Dim sum was the only choice, and New Fortune II delivered in every sense of the word. What we ordered: - Crystal shrimp dumpling (har gow) - Shrimp and pork dumpling (siu mai) - Steamed BBQ pork bun (char siu bao) - Steamed rice noodle roll with shrimp (cheung fun) - Vietnamese shaking beef - Stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef (dry chow fun) - Salt and pepper shrimp -- went incredibly fast, should have doubled this - Sautéed water spinach with chili and fermented bean - Sautéed Chinese broccoli with garlic - Szechuan style green beans - House special fried rice Every dish held up beautifully in our buffet setup. Impressive given the transport. The salt-and-pepper shrimp and water spinach were the runaway crowd favorites. Both platters were empty within the first 20 minutes, which tells you everything. Eric walked us through sizing and timing with patience and real expertise, which made the whole execution feel effortless. We called ahead to confirm, paid by card, picked up at 6 pm sharp. Zero friction, zero stress on a night when that mattered enormously. If you need dim sum catering that can feed a crowd, travel well, and still generate compliments three hours into a party, this is your answer. Our guests raved about the food all night. The vibe is modern: very bright, well lit, with the lion statues in the front, tea pots on the walls and clean spaces. The nice thing is you can order dim sum even when the push carts aren't going, which I personally think is better since it's fresh. My wife felt like she had a ratatouille type moment when she bit into the sesame balls and the deep fried mince turnover. I personally thought while the dim sum had a good fry, it was about average on the flavor and texture, but like I said, some others in our group thought it was excellent. On the other hand, the main entrees, I thought were stellar. The Sichuan green beans (despite this not being a Sichuan shop) were the best rendition of the dish of anywhere I've had in town - very good fry on the green beans with smoky wok hei, well seasoned with the pickled veg too. When your five year old opts to eat just this and rice, you know you got something special on your hand. The seafood fried noodle is also very good - tender squid, shrimp and veggies in the crunchy noodle nest is a great contrast in texture, as well as a lesson in simplicity. The peking pork ribs are also incredible - saucy, not overly sweet sauce clings to the riblets and gives you something incredible to gnaw on. I prefer it in pork chop form, but this is stellar as I think I've only had this one other place that was even remotely close. All in all, great place for Canto food in a town that doesn't have enough of it.

Thanks to reviews from fellow Yelpers like Steve W. and Samuel C., I felt confident suggesting Ling Wu to my friends and my girlfriend. I made a reservation for that Wednesday night at 7:00 pm, and by the time we arrived, the place was absolutely packed. There was a line of people waiting to be seated. I don't know if they were walk-ins or also had reservations, but thanks to ours, we were sat immediately with ease. I definitely recommend making a reservation. The interior of the building is beautiful, as is the patio with string lights and shrubbery. We sat inside, and the lowly lit atmosphere was excellent. All of the decor really makes the space feel cozy. Water is served in little mugs, and a paper mat is placed on the table because they know Austinites are messy. We all ordered drinks. Two people got a Kirin Light, one got a cocktail, and I ordered their mocktail Spritz. We also shared an appetizer of the Szechuan Spicy Cucumber, which arrived as an incredible tower of cucumber that was both fantastic and delicious. I lowkey ate half of the tower. My girlfriend ordered their soup dumplings, which were pretty good. Soup dumplings are not really my personal style, but everyone else at the table loved them. I was most excited for my entrée. I ordered the Orange Peel Akashi Beef with a side of brown rice, and honestly, it is some of the best Asian cuisine I've ever had. I've seen reviews complaining about the price point, but you can't compare a wagyu steak to Texas Roadhouse, and you can't compare a sit-down Asian restaurant to a Chinese buffet. This is clearly a step above. You don't have to fully dress the part, but this is practically fine dining. Top tier service, top tier atmosphere, and top tier food. This isn't a casual noodle shop, buddy. Overall, it's an excellent experience and definitely worth the steeper price tag. I recommend Ling Wu if you understand that sometimes you have to pay more for a higher quality meal. If you're not that type of person, grow up, because you're missing out on some of the best Asian food Austin has to offer. RIYL: A great meal with a great atmosphere

Chef Ling is a brilliant and personable chef who treats her chefs and staff like family. Several different chefs prepared each course, and the presentation was well beyond what we expected, both visually stunning and thoughtfully composed. From the moment we walked into Ling Kitchen, the energy felt warm and intentional. The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and you immediately sense that you are about to be part of something special rather than just another dinner reservation. Chef Ling personally welcomed guests, shared the story behind the menu, and checked in throughout the evening in a way that felt genuine and never forced. Each course built on the last, with a clear progression of flavors and textures. The fish was impeccably fresh, the knife work precise, and the seasoning balanced to highlight the natural ingredients rather than overpower them. You could see the coordination among the team as different chefs stepped forward to prepare and present their dishes. It truly felt collaborative, like a small culinary orchestra. What stood out most was the creativity. Traditional techniques were honored, but there were subtle twists and unexpected combinations that kept us curious and engaged. Every plate was composed like art. The pacing was perfect, allowing time to savor each bite and appreciate the craftsmanship. Beyond the food, the hospitality elevated the entire experience. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly proud to be part of the team. That family atmosphere Chef Ling fosters is palpable and makes the evening feel personal. If you are in Austin and looking for a memorable omakase that rivals experiences in much larger food cities, Ling Kitchen is a must. This is not just dinner, it is a curated, immersive experience. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Ling!!! You are truly one of a kind!

Chinese fine dining with a memorable, unique hospitality experience that will truly blow anything…read moreelse you've had out of the water. I saved Ling Kitchen for a recent visit to Austin, reuniting with my college roommate. She has been before; I hadn't, but we both enjoy memorable meals and she said this was sure to please; it did not disappoint. I eat at fine dining around the world and I appreciate that Ling Kitchen is truly trying to carve their own path, not trying to fit a specific mold. It was refreshing and so welcome. You enter through the back of the kitchen (where the private parking lot is) and are taken to a prep area where you'll select drinks and have opening bites. You get a selection of champagne or a non-alcoholic option to start and get your first taste of the food (charcuterie on a rice cracker, yum). They have a decent wine and sake menu, but everything is by the bottle, so beware if you're a light drinker. We opted for a bottle of sake that was just the right amount for two to share for a 3-hour meal. The actual meal takes place in the kitchen itself, alongside the prep of the chefs working it. It's such a unique ambiance and different to the "open kitchen" setup I have done for other fine dining; you are truly in between the cold storage, the duck aging for future diners, etc. The low light & ambiance is beautifully arranged for a nice meal and they put all the special touches - down to LED camera lights for each diner so you can use to take photos of your food better! You can only make reservations in 2's or 4's for this spot and the table arrangement is really for diners to share a meal together. The food itself is extremely beautiful and so filling! I think this was the first time at a fine dining restaurant I literally could not finish all the food and had to make a few smart choices towards the end to have room to try it all! I think some dishes stood out more than others (the XO lobster tail, every single dessert, an eggplant dish they made to sub for the aged duck for me, and the king salmon with curry lahksa), and a few were aesthetically pleasing but otherwise lacked strong flavor (the dumplings, the steamed egg, a pan seared halibut that was a sub for wagyu). I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and more so enjoyed the storytelling and thoughtfulness of each dish and the overall service & hospitality experience. Chef Ling Qi Wu is introduces several dishes and is available to chat with guests throughout the meal. She noted the taro dish as one of her first dim sum items she had ever made and the salmon curry lakhsa as a home comfort dish for her. The desserts were themed around the four seasons - just so much thought put into the whole experience! They had the entire table introduce themselves and share what brought them there halfway through the meal and gave us the opportunity to walk around the kitchen, talk to chefs, try some elements used in later dishes like the fresh honey used in our desserts. They gave us a polaroid, branded chopsticks and a clean menu to commemorate the experience. Ling Kitchen is truly more than a fancy restaurant; it's a whole memorable dining experience, and I hope to return for a future special visit one day!
