In the same strip mall next to the dentistry where I got my wisdom teeth removed is a Smoothie King. In one day, I found myself here twice. The first time, I was coming off the anesthesia and all I could think about was a smoothie. The first go around, I got the Peanut Power Plus with Strawberry. I barely remember getting home, but I do remember laying on the couch and putting absolute work on that smoothie, crushing the 20 oz before crashing and getting some amazing sleep. The smoothie was a savior after fasting all morning. That evening, after my prescriptions were ready at H-E-B, we went back and I ordered another smoothie. This time, with more cognitive ability to actually order something, I got their Daily Warrior with bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, and more in a 32 oz cup. I still could not feel my bottom lip or my chin, but I could taste how amazing the smoothie was as I slurped it straight out of the cup. This Smoothie King location just became my new Smoothie King location go to spot. I have come here a couple of times already and I love the drive-thru experience. I haven't been inside yet, but the customer service was awesome and friendly. It's easy to access and park compared to the Pflugerville 685 location. Did I mention the drive-thru experience? So if you are worried about the rona, you don't have to go in. I haven't done the pre-order through the app yet, which I am highly considering. This is the worst Smoothie King to order from, especially if you use the convenience of the mobile app to order, but then they close the store for drive-through only so you're stuck waiting in line behind a line of cars that are placing orders through the window, completely diminishes expectations, and the quality of your smoothie. I have been in several times and the service is very poor. It seems that there is no one who has much experience in the store. I have to instruct often to get the exact ingredients put in - then having to baby sit to get the ice blended (often there are ice chunks in drink). My last time the APP would not work so I could not get the point credit - when APP came up next day system said it was "old receipt" What makes it even worse is that trying to contact the manager (Qu) he will not return my call, nor contact me when I posted complaint and request for callback on the Smoothie King website - At other locations I have not had such bad treatment but this is the closest to my home.... they have lost me as a customer. read more

What a bad first impression, and will undoubtedly be the last. I ordered 2 smoothies online and drove over. One smoothie, labeled 2of2 was in the online pick up area. An employee (later identified as the manager) came over and said "did you need something?" I said I was waiting for my other smoothie. He says "oh yeah we're out of that along with our other 3 stores." He said I could order something else but honestly I wanted what I ordered so I asked if he could just cancel the one and refund it. He stated they can't cancel online orders and I would need to do it online. After poking around the app (with no help from the manager) I found this wasn't possible and in the FAQs it clearly states the store will cancel the order and all they need was the order number, which I had. They refused to cancel starting that's not what they were told even after clearly showing them the policy. So, my choice was either order something I didn't want or lose money. Clearly there needs to be some training in policy and customer service here. Sorry Smoothie King but there's plenty of other places who are willing to provide customer service and judging by some of the other reviews here you aren't in a hurry to correct such behaviors. read more

I ordered and paid for 2 smoothies last Saturday morning through the app. When I arrived to pick them up the store was still closed. This was 20 min after they should've opened. I waited 30-40 minutes before giving up and leaving. I have tried to contact them a few times to get a refund but the manager has yet to contact me. I was able to get one of the smoothies made for me this Saturday but I am still out the money for the other. In addition when I went into the store and looked over the counter the mess was disgusting and there were flies buzzing over the fruits. At this point I'm just done with this store. read more

Went today and I'm use to the long wait and never had much an issue until today... When I first arrived (being the only person there) I had to repeat myself twice that I wanted the Activator in a size 32oz. Spoke that pretty clearly too. I had ordered two smoothies which the other is Angel Food. When I pulled up to the window I would say that I waited there for 5 or 6 minutes at the most till someone came to the window and asked "have you payed yet?". I was confused because I can tell it was the same girl who took my order and I'm the only one there.. I replied "no" and she responded "okay , your smoothie will be out shortly" and didn't charge me still. I wait for a while and other cars have pulled up behind me. A young boy comes to the window with a small smoothie size smoothie saying "here's your activator". I immediately corrected that one, I ordered a 32oz and secondly I haven't even paid yet! He goes back inside and to start working on it. The first girl came out a minute after finally charging me and then try's to hand me the small size activator which then again I'm correcting the staff. How embarrassing to repeat myself 5 times now I wanted a 32oz activator.. the staff girl with brown hair round shape face looks at me funny as if I offended her.. I get handed me second smoothie the Angel Food and taste like water.. no flavor ? And afterwards I finally get the 32oz smoothie by the young man who was better in manners. My feedback a former Store Manager: This staff lacks communication skills and multi tasking for a few plus professionalism all because it young folks not being monitored to not lead with emotions. So they doing whatever they want to whoever. I don't think every single one has poor work ethic but whoever hiring for this location has a manager not enforcing proper food drive control and communication skills. I took this one minute after receiving it. I went to go grab a strawberry pure recharge which is the same thing I always get. The girl told me they don't have that - so she said she would make a me a strawberry mango pure recharge without the mango. I said I have been getting strawberry pure forever now and when I get it, it's very light pink, fluffy, and sweet. This place is awful. I came in after a workout with one person ahead of me and 3 people working and it still took over 20 minutes to get my smoothie. I wouldn't have come back but I got a $5 off promo for my birthday so I figured why not. Not as slow this time but they were out of peanut butter (how does this happen), and they didn't know how to process the birthday promo so no point in coming. Then when they asked if I wanted fresh strawberries or the sugary ones I asked for regular and the drink was still disgustingly sweet. So much for it being a "healthy" smoothie. Most times I come in there's this younger African American gentleman (I think he's names Isaiah) who always greets me with enthusiasm and has a glow about him. They closed their store 15 early after I tried ordering online at 8:40pm. The online systems shuts down at certain time so I always on a daily bases end up driving to the location which is open until 9pm. In this case this particular store told me unless I had an online order they will not serve me even with the store open another 15 minutes. They told me they put everything away and would have to take it all back out. I literally have ootjie king every single day after my workout at different locations and this is the first time they have been so rude and close the store before their actually store hours. I was stoked when this location opened up. They've been open for two weeks. I had been going in everyday and was having positive experience with the employees until today. The manager today, a short black haired girl, was checking me out at the cash register. I bought a smoothie with cash and got my change back. After getting my change back I was interested in the protein bars, asked how much they costed and she told me the price would be $2.99. I bought one, the price turned out to be $3.25, not a big deal that she forgot the tax. I had $3.22, I asked if she was okay with spotting me three cents - she was not. I told her I'd go to my car to find change, luckily the tall man who was making my smoothie had changed and graciously offered to spot me some. I thanked him and told the woman if her manager was upset about her drawer being short three cents that they deserve to be told off. She said, "I'm the manager, are you going to tell me off?". I said "sure would, let me know who your boss is and I'll tell him off to for 3 cents". I've spent around $30 there in the past few days and I will NOT be going back at all. It's unfortunate because all other experiences are positive. The manager today turned me off from this location and I will not support them ever again.
