I am starting to think going to Salata is actually saving me money! I cannot make the quality of salad I am getting for under $20. My last two visits I did buy the extra shrimp because they're having a two dollar special for double protein. Buy one get one $2 more. So I have a giant large salad with double shrimp and it's under $20. Tell me how I can beat that??!! All of the salad dressings are amazing you can't go wrong with any of them. As far as I can tell they seem to be freshly made and I can't think of one that I didn't like! The jalapeño ranch, regular ranch and the ginger dressing are my favorites. People who work here are always so nice as soon as you walk in the door they greet you. They always happily make my salad and don't rush me through the line and give me time to look at everything so I can decide what I want on it. The iced tea and lemonade are always fresh and cold. My favorite is just a plain iced tea it's so nice and refreshing. The restaurant itself is always clean I have never come in and seen a mess. The only thing I have ever come in and seen all over the place is the catering orders. Which is what made me order the wraps. Last week I had some guys working at my house and I picked up this wrap tray to bring them lunch. They were so excited because it was such a hot day and they said they love Salata but never get to go there. These wraps were a big hit on a hot day I highly recommend if you have people you need to feed just order it! They packaged the catering orders so nicely it's really impressive just getting it as a To Go order I highly recommend recommend it. read more

I don't just like it, I love it and I eat a Salata salad every single day at one of the 3 locations. This time, I made a fun black bean honey mustard concoction and I love being able to mix and match. Mad Greens just is so mid by comparison and too much for the amount given. So, I adore Salata. Unlike Mad Greens, you can add as many veggies as you want. I'd kind of like to see what they come up with in their own featured salad, but I'd rather mix my own concoction, so this is the best salad place in town. I was so excited because I hadn't eaten yet and it was 5 pm. I just wanted to relax and scroll through my phone after a long workday and eat my salad. Unfortunately, I have to stick to Arbor Walk and RR because CP doesn't get a decent signal. I literally couldn't do anything, but got a signal the minute I stepped outside. Salata is one of my favorite places! You can literally have it your way, any combination you like. When I used to work in office, I would order Salata every Wednesday hence all the photos! I usually get about the same salad every time, but change one thing about it. All the ingredients are fresh you feel satisfied, and better than you did before. I pass by the spot all the time and always thought "no one can make salads as good as me it's not worth going" but one day I tried it and I was blown away by all the delicious toppings, the vegan options, and how patient the staff were. The first time I came to Texas I tried Salata and I was hooked. That was a few years ago and it hasn't changed. Salata is still one of my top 2 favorite salad bars on this planet (Roots in Charlottesville, VA is my #1). I thoroughly enjoy how they give you the entire mixing bowl at Salata if you dine in, and if you do takeout they give you a big enough box to fit all of the food in. I have always been a big fan of Chipotle style fast casual where they give you enough food for 2 meals but just enough for a hungry 1. I am always hungry so I usually get as much as I can in that salad and crank it on the first go. The staff here are nice from my experience. Whenever I am too lazy to meal prep, I go to Salata for a big bowl of mixed greens and I am never disappointed. The sesame sticks are an added bonus which I did not discover until recently, and they add a nice salty crunch to the salad. Definitely recommend and I will surely be back for more. read more

I am giving 3 stars because the price you pay for a salad with meat is NOT worth it. There is no reason a salad should cause $17 unless it is a really large salad which this was not. Also they need to do away with the hippie teas that taste terrible and stick with making regular tea. Overall I MIGHT return but I would have to be really desperate. read more

When you walk in, it is brightly lit. Lots of tables are set in the middle of their store. I have never eaten inside so I do not know if they are comfortable. To the left is the aisle to go to order your food. It starts with your choice of greens: Spinach, Kale, Spring mix, and Romaine or a mix of two. You can pick a salad, small salad or a wrap salad. Trust when I say, the small salad is plenty of food. Next up in the line is assorted vegetables and fruit. You pick what you want or choose everything. They also have some cheeses and nuts for your salad mix. After that is the premium selections as chicken, shrimp, crab, falafel, salmon, etc Please note there is an extra cost on these proteins. Then pick your dressing, nice variety. Do you want soup? Yep, they have that too. And finally the carbs, rolls and tortillas. Drinks are either Iced teas or lemonade. The prices are extremely reasonable for the small salad. I have experimented with my choices of vegetables but still remained healthy. Try it as a once a week healthy option. I generally go to the Salata next to the domain and it's always great but came over to this location and was less than impressed. I mentioned something about the spinach being wet and wilted since it was the very last of the bin, however, was not offered fresh, just scraped it clean and that's what I got. The white bean soup was good but mostly broth, no potatoes & basically just kale. The spicy chipotle ranch dressing was very disappointing as it was super watery. I love their salads but their service is complete trash. They messed up my order at least 3 times over the course of 2 months. They either forget to add the ingredient, utensils or drink, or give me someone else's order completely. They have 5-6 people working in the salad bar and somehow they still manage to fuck up a simple Caesar salad order. If you want a salad, Salata is the place! Salata offers unlimited amounts on most of their toppings for no additional charge. They have the usual cucumbers, tomatoes, cranberries, radishes, eggs but they even offer jicama, pasta, pea sprouts, feta and other types of cheeses at no extra charge. If u dont have any peanut allergies you should try the Ginger Lime salad dressing, i would buy it by the bottle if they sold it. Their bread and croutons are good too. Also, they offer excellent customer service! I had an order delivered last week and they made a mistake. I called the store, the manager answered and fixed the issue with extras. It was great! I typically expect good customer service but they surprised me with the ease of solving my issue. Again, if you want a salad give Salata a try, you wont regret it! Pretty much same fresh food and great employees behind the counter. Salads are prepped and cut fresh everyday and portions are generous. Basically one price. I still like salads, but I'm just not that impressed with this particular location. We came in at noon on a Wednesday and found this place fairly busy. While they were able to handle the large crowd, there seemed to be a palpable decrease in food and service quality the further back in the crowd they got. The layout of this location is similar to others with one large seating area and a small hallway to the side. When you enter, you walk straight into the line and it lets out into the seated area. When we walked through the line, workers seemed to be focused solely on getting people through the line as quickly as possible. We were getting asked what we wanted in our bowls without being able to see any of the options. Then, after deciding, more orders for the people behind us were shouted over our heads in an effort to be "efficient." Once I got my salad, I found that it seemed to be severely disproportionate in terms of extra items to actual greens. I understand that I ordered a lot, which may have made that proportioning difficult, but I just felt like I ended up eating more sides than actual salad. I'll still be back because this is the only place I know of that lets you customize salads this much, but I'll definitely be keeping this experience in mind for timing and ordering. read more

I visit salata often, usually go to both cedar park and university location. Today I ordered a pick up due to the shelter in place. My order was ready on time, took it home and was so disappointed how small it was. The toppings were scarce and the pineapple didn't look fresh, brownish in tint. I've never received a salad so small. I tried calling however nobody answered and there isn't anywhere on the website to contact about an order. On Saturday I ordered take out from the university location and it was the normal size. I'm just disappointed I spent money and drove to pick up only to get something so small. I enjoy a salad any time of year but now that Summer is officially here I have to get my Salata "fix" at least once a week. There are SO many items to choose from and something for everyone... vegan, vegetarian or carnivores! There are huge bowls of a variety of lettuce types and they are fresh with NO brown or wilted leaves. I love having all the protein choices!
