HM continues to be one of my very favorite places for lunch in Cedar Park. The bowls are always fresh and excellent and tasty. For the quality of the ingredients I think they are fairly priced. The store itself is bright and upscale and the people who work here are generally very kind. I almost always make my own bowl with black forbidden rice and ahi poke, but I tried their limited time winter bowl today and it hit the spot on a cold day. The two things keeping this from being five stars is that they don't have Kosmic kombucha on tap like their other locations, and they don't have spoons, which is kind of strange for a bowl place. read more

You can make your own dish or try one of their suggested bowls. They also have sipping broth which is a "YES" once it gets a little cooler outside. I finally stopped into this location yesterday as this was my health conscious day (because today, "let them eat cake..or in my case, let me eat doughnuts). When stepping into the location, everything is clean with non-busy, monochromatic decor. The menu is straight forward with the offerings afforded here. Consumers can also select to customize their bowls as opposed to purchasing a pre-set bowl off of the menu, which is what I elected to do. The bowl (mainly consisting of sides) inculded French green lentils, black beans, roasted carrots with coriander, roasted beets, charred broccoli with sesame, topped with avocado with poblano sauce. I love how all the vibrant colors play off one another--the bright beets, the vivid orange carrots, and the pale green avocado. But even more than how these ingredients look together, I love how they taste. The avocado is rich and creamy, the root veggies are sweet and earthy, and the broccoli adds a peppery, refreshing kick. I have been trying to get here to give it a try for quite a while and today was the day!!! We had just finished our swimming exercise class at the YMCA and decided to do a to go order so we could try it. It was my granddaughter and I. We were not able to order through the Yelp app, but when we got on the website, ordering for pick up was very easy. They offer several bowls that are pre-crafted with all the ingredients listed and a suggested dressing, which they always put in a separate cup on the side or in this case actually within the bowl. I love that so if you end up not necessarily want the dressing or not it's very easy not to use it. My granddaughter chose the Mediterranean style bowl and added grilled chicken. She said it was delicious. I had the Marketplace bowl which is under the build your own section of the menu. You choose your base and you choose a couple different toppings and three different additional options along with dressing and of course, for extra cash you can get extra anything that you want that they offer on the menu. My bowl consisted of sauté kale, basmati, rice, brussels sprouts, roasted beets, and roasted pumpkin, spice, butternut squash. It was also delicious!!! There was a slight faux pas when we went inside to grab our to go order. It was MIA even though it was just past the time it was due to be ready. We asked for assistance, and the manager determined that the bowls had absolutely been made and placed over in the Pick Up section and someone else must have picked up our order by mistake. He offered to make it "Johnny on the spot" which he did, we very much appreciated this and their attention to taking this matter, and solving the problem immediately! Unfortunately, my granddaughter did not get his name or I would mention him here, but please be advised the food is fabulous, delicious and healthy and the Customer Service is excellent Can't wait to go back!!! read more

But literally every pre-made bowl sounded so good, I wanted to try all of them. The ingredients taste pretty fresh and I love all of their options. It's healthy but the delicious kind of healthy. While I really like Honest Mary's overall, I do need to caution everyone to avoid adding protein! I would have said it was a coincidence if I had a bout of stomach upset once after eating Honest Mary's; however, when it hit my wife twice, we decided it might be a good idea to avoid adding protein in the future. I've eaten there 3 times since without adding protein, and I've been perfectly happy and healthy. The service is great. The feel is that of an upscale fast food restaurant. Tables don't always get cleaned, but that's not uncommon at other such establishments. I really wish I could go with more than 3 stars, but I only went back after three negative experiences because a friend made the plans. I was happy I figured out to just avoid protein there, and still they have a ways to go. read more

The food is really tasty although I wish they would have chicken breasts as an option for chicken instead of the much fattier thighs. My only gripe here is there is this male worker who is so annoying. He comes out of the back often whistling really loud and singing. I'm sure he's happy and that's great but it's annoying to listen to when trying to eat or order. And whenever they're cooking on the grill which is right by the ordering area, it is SO LOUD with the steam / chicken cooking. Something must be off with the acoustics of the space. read more

Honest Mary's is our once-a-week lunch spot as we love their signature bowls. My go-to is the Aloha Poke with extra Poke. The pickled jalapenos and basmati rice take this over the top. This bowl is better than other Poke establishments in the area IMHO. I'm usually good for the rest of the day and only need a light snack for dinner. Plus one's go-to is their Sedona Lime with grilled chicken. The basmati rice and roasted sweet potatoes are a great compliment to this bowl. We both enjoy the freshness of their bowls and enjoy healthy eating. I'm looking forward to also trying their sipping broths. Extremely disappointed with the limited amount of toppings. They guys have everything back there from edamame to sweet potatoes. These guys had it all and I was stocked to order. I got to the ordering and got to the toppings and they tell me I can only choose 2????? 2? I paid $15 for this thing and your telling me out of 11 sides I got to choose 2. After showing me all you have to offer, you shoot your self in the foot by not letting me turn your sub par bowl into a master piece. Instead I'm stuck with this super alright bowl and $15 poorer. Ordered the Mediterranean Harissa bowl with chicken for an extra charge. While very few of the flavors were reminiscent of Mediterranean influences in my opinion, it was very fresh and totally filling, which I was surprised by! I personally think it worked being that all the ingredients are some of my favorites... beets, feta cheese, corn , etc. This is the first time I've visited Honest Mary's and the ordering process is very similar to Chipotle/Chilantro since it's a fast casual restaurant. Feel like the noise levels were low bc there was 2 other tables taken up only , the lady upfront was not the most attentive person bc I asked her questions and she didn't fully explain to me why I couldn't do sub. For allergies reasons, not smiling or even a Hello or hi verbal, was feeling like she was ready to go home , didn't like how salty the mushroom and quinoa was , sweet potato was barely warm and the brussels sprouts had no seasoning, but not too oily, which made it good barely grilled a little bit of brownish tan color on them. I have the beats as a side also and being a vegan because I did not get protein. I asked if I can substitute one of the sides which would've been potatoes for me personally, but the lady said no because I already got three choices because that's the rules which made it very Real to think about it because if I'm allergic to something and you can't substitute it that really gives me a way not to come back because it's limiting me of the choices. I can't have because of the food allergies I feel that the place is very clean, environmentally friendly atmosphere And it has a room for improvement and decorative, and also training the staff to be more polite and just give you a warm smile I don't think that's really a big job investment because you should be able to love your job and when I asked the lady who took my order a few questions about the place and the noise control and the food and menu details I noticed that she knew what she was talking about mostly and it's interesting that I asked her specific questions about the place and that I feel that she needs a little bit more knowledge about the food menu because I asked her about the specific ingredients in the dressing and so I was asking if she was able to look in a bag for me to see the ingredients that they use or if it was house made, and if I could able to get a hold of the owners at that point for allergy, friendly talk. read more

Visited at least 4-5 times in the last 2 months. Staff is always friendly and helpful with any questions I've had. They make great suggestions when I do a build your own bowl and ask what sauce would pair best with my selections. The menu combinations always taste great too! Food safety is huge for me (as a QSR manager) and they have safe practices so I appreciate that. The food is delicious and makes you feel good after you've eaten it. This is such a treat for when I don't want to cook a bunch of different things to make a bowl at home. It's very clean and cute inside and has a relaxing atmosphere. I stood there for a while looking at the menu and waiting for my friend. I was kind of surprised that nobody asked if I needed help or anything as I did have a couple questions. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean bowl they had and substituted the beets for something else. I was glad they showed substitutions even though it's only in the same category. I actually wanted something from the "cheaper" section but I had to select something from the more expensive list. Oh well! Overall, I thought the flavors were really good and they give you a good portion size. The only other thing I was hoping to see was a calorie count on the items. I regularly order a gallon of agua fresca from this Honest Mary's for pickup or delivery. Both cucumber lime and ginger agua frescas are DELICIOUS. The problem is that when the order goes through Uber Eats, Honest Mary's never sends LIDS or STRAWS. (They sometimes send cups). I always leave a NOTE in the Uber Eats app BEGGING them to include lids and straws, but turns out, Honest Mary's doesn't read notes. Today, I called the store to make sure they sent 5 lids and 5 straws along with cups. I tried calling several times, no one picked up. I just received my Uber Eats delivery and guess what? No lids, no straws and no cups either. read more
