My best friend and I stopped by for a quick drink while running errands. We weren't impressed and I doubt we will return. The waitress was very friendly, but the smell was awful. We also noticed tons of fruit flies hovering around the cut up fruit to garnish drinks.

First time yo this new bar/restaurant in Ccedar Park, which opened recently... First note, it's more a sports bar than a restaurant. Big screens everywhere and the sound blasting so loud we couldn't even have a conversation at our table 30 feet from the bar. We even asked our waitress if the volume could be lowered, her response "the guys at the bar wanted it louder." Lost a star for that! Not sure we'll return for that reason! Food was good, we like Indian and spicy, so that was a good fit. Spinach/artichoke dip, chicken tikka masala and the hariyali chicken kebabs (think green chili chicken) were all good. Service was OK ... one waitress for the entire restaurant, so service lagged at times. Frozen margaritas were good too, appreciate the Tajin rim! Not much in the way of decor, except for the TVs. Tall ceilings, ventilation showing, no sound absorbers .... Feels like a big room! Very dark also, almost movie theater-like.

New neighborhood bar in the CP Leander area. They have a full bar and a menu that features traditional sports bar bites and surprise Indian such as Tikka and Paneer Butter Masala. There is a great selection of grilled skewer specials too. There is a large U-shaped bar, booths, and plenty of tables if you are bringing the crew. There are also numerous TVs, so you will always have a good seat to watch a game. Service is friendly, and the owner/chef stopped by to ask how they were doing. My Tikka Masala was very good and it had a good spice kick. Plus one went with chickenb wings and they wer fried perfect. They are still working out their just-opening bugs but there is potential here. Oh and your first beer is free!.

We just discovered this restaurant and I thought it was pretty great. Very extensive drink and food menu... Indian/American fusion. Staff was very attentive and the food was delicious.

So my wife and I gave this new place a try....what a mistake!! My " one piece" fish and chips came out burnt while her very small impossible burger patty was loaded with curry spice... yuck!! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and grab something to eat at the nearby QT Gas station... in other words avoid this restaurant like the plague!!

    Chicken Diablo (8/10). Would recommend.

Would come back again! The menu is a little overwhelming but nothing we had was BAD! It was a solid choice for a random night out.

Self seating. Poor service - sat down and no one came to take order. We left after 10 minutes of no service. Didn't try any food

So let's start. Ambience is your typical pizza-bar restaurant. Staff is hit or miss on friendliness and attentiveness but all good. Prices are fair So we ordered our drinks, food and apps. So far so ok, apps and drinks arrive and everything is as expected. Now pizza arrives and we start passing out slices and wifey goes to take a bite of pizza with a side of cooked in black hair, my family is blonde and light colored hair. So we flag down our waitress and she comes over to investigate. Agrees hair is in the pizza and apologizes. Mind you we are seated right near the area where they ring in the order and cash you out so we are waiting and watching The waitress retrieves the manager that looked like he had just woken up or was busy watching his soap operas and was bothered to come over and remove this pizza from our bill. Didn't have the courtesy to take an extra 3-5 steps and come speak to us. Extremely disappointing and shame on the business but allowing this lazy individual to represent them as a manager. I personally come from a family that has owned many successful restaurants and we always strived to make sure our customers were satisfied by their dining experience. Idc about the hair, I get that. IMHO absolutely poor and inattentive leadership is what's driving this restaurant. I hope the management team sees this review and fixes these shortcomings. We may try it again but not sure. Rosatis do better. Your customers deserve it.

Our server was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the place has a cool little vibe that feels relaxed but still energetic. We got there around 11:00, and by 11:15 or 11:20 the place was already lively and noisy, which honestly tells you people know where the good pizza is. I had the House salad with Caesar dressing, and it was fresh and loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mushrooms, black olives, mozzarella, and crunchy garlic croutons. For pizza, I ordered the City Pie, and those toppings were giving -- pepperoni, Italian sausage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and bell peppers. I'm not usually a huge fan of super thin crust pizza, but this one worked because the toppings and flavor carried every bite. The girls ordered the Queen Margherita, and it looked just as good as it sounds with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, Parmesan-Reggiano, and basil. We also tried one of the house sodas, and it was really, really good. Everything paired together perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd go back to again.

It was a Friday afternoon so we got the lunch special which was well worth the money. I think it was like $12-13 for a large slice of pizza and a side salad that was extremely generous. One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
