Cedrela Hefeweizen - disappointing, tasted watered down, very little flavor, Live Oak Hefeweizen is much better

My son and I noticed the new sign out front the other day that said Whitestone Brewery & 600 Degree Pizza. We knew the brewery occupied this location a year ago, but never knew the pizza place was there as well, until we saw the new sign !!! We decided to pay them a visit today. Great place to come for great beer and great pizza !!!!

Whitestone Brewery and 600 degrees = a match made in heaven! We stopped by the new location over the weekend and loved the new setup. A fabulous variety of unique Whitestone brews along with counter service 600 degrees is the perfect combination. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time here. My favorites from 600 degrees are always the dry rub wings and really any of the specialty pizzas but the Haight and Ashbury and City Pie always hit the spot.

What an amazing place to have a special event or get together with friends!! We did a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Cedar Park Chamber today and the staff at both Whitestone Brewery and 600 Degrees Pizza were so welcoming and helpful! The food is delicious, there are TVs to watch sports, music playing and a play area for young kids to hang out. If you are looking for a delicious cold beer and pizza this is DEFINITELY the place!

We ordered everything here in our two flights

Enjoyed the beer flight! Our favorite was the coffee flavored stout Loved the ambience of this place. The host at the counter was super helpful and let us sample a few beers. We ended up taking two flights to cover all that was on the menu :) If anyone is interested in what we liked -- 2,6,8 - hazy and not good 7, 10 - stout with spicy/sweet note, coffee 9- good one 3- also nice You will have to go thr the pics to see which is which one :)) A highlight was the taco truck just outside the brewery. We ordered beer from the brewery and got our taco fix from this truck. Visiting from out of state, we had stopped by for a drink and some food after visiting Oasis on the Rocks for the sunset view. We were happy we did stop by here. Definitely worth a visit!

"Craft pizza craft beer". This place is a hybrid of 600 degrees pizza and Whitestone brewery. The atmosphere is casual with high tops and communal tables, with sporadic TVs of sporting games. A good place to meet friends or eat alone, the brewery offers 6, 5oz flights for you to try or pint size beers if you already know what you like. The pizza offers a full menu. You get your beer at the bar, and order your slice/whole pie at the kitchen and they deliver to your table. A cute place for meet up and a fun time.

Love the ambiance of this place. The outside area has lots of seating and is decorated nicely. The only thing I wish they had was a kitchen or a food truck that was open later during their weekend hours. Unfortunately the food truck on site was closed while we were visiting around 9pm on a Saturday but the beer was pretty tasty! LOVED the long gone blonde. Will be returning for a growler sometime soon

Try the Kolsch!

Great atmosphere with even better beers!! The pizza was delicious! Next time we'll do a tasting to try the other beers.

Me and my beer flight!

Great brewery and tap house in Cedar Park. They have rotating food truck schedule out back. Covered patio is awesome along with live music stage. Inside is a rustic lodge feel with lots of wood and steel. Did a 6 cup flight and was impressed with all but one selection. Staff is very friendly and vibe is very chill. This is perfect pre-funk spot prior to Texas Stars game at HEB Arena!

Unlocked another brewery in Cedar Park. Whitestone has very cute interior designs and a nice outdoor patio with taco food truck nearby. It was our first visit and we love their cute decors, generous tastings and live music performance! Service was great. The guy at the bar was chill and friendly - beer tasting was offered and it did help us make better decisions for our drinks! The ones we tried were Lovely Day IPA and Luna Azul Wheat Ale. I like the latter one way more than the first one, but that's just my personal preference. Beers are reasonably priced. Also we got lucky - got the table right in front of the cute fireplace and next to the live performance . Overall a great place to hang out with friends/family!

Slappin Da Bass
Travis C.

When I first walked in I was greeted with big smile and great energy! I instantly got asked what type of beer I liked and the sampling began! I went with the Slappin Da Bass as I tend to drink stouts in the winter since they are heavier but the cooler weather makes it easier to consume. Great atmosphere. Great beer. Great people. Stop in and drink. I'll come with you but first round is on me!

Hefenweizen = my absolute FAV

Ask the Community - Whitestone Brewery

Are kids allowed in the patio?

Kids are allowed, yes.

Is there a good truck tomorrow? If so who?

Van Damns Tasty Tacos is the resident food truck if that's what your question is, and yes they are good! They can get pretty busy just FYI.

Is the brewery dog friendly?

I would like to politely disagree with Christine. This is indeed a Brewery and dogs are allowed on the patio.

Do they serve wine and cocktails?

We have a small selection of wine, cider, and mead but no hard alcohol.

They have two fridges full of cold singles and 10 more with 4 packs, a few shelves of warm singles and large formats, 11 pinball machines, foosball, and a nice big space to hang out and drink your beers in. You haven't been here yet? Why not?

There's a large row of coolers that run along the right side with a wide variety of styles/breweries and even NA options-and the back has a lot of European and domestic 'whales' that run high price tags but are harder to find. You can mix and match pretty much anything. Is it a bar? You could say that, any of the beers in the cooler can be consumed on-site; there's picnic tables both inside and outside and there's bar type games: pinball, foosball, darts that you can play while you hang out and drink. They don't have a kitchen but there's always a food truck right outside or you can bring your own in. I've never been for bingo or comedy nights or anything like that. I come for the brews, chill out and eat good food; it's kind of like being in someone's rec room but with way more beer. My only real knock is the corkage fee, if you're going to drink on-site they do charge $2 bucks per, which doesn't seem like much but it adds up.

One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.

Well, that all changed as soon as we walked in the door. Immediately the chill, welcoming vibes of a brewery hit us. And, it is an ALL WELCOMING establishment. No exclusion! LGBTQIA-friendly, family friendly, dog friendly, and so on. Not only do they specialize in craft pours (made onsite) but craft coffee as well. Definitely gonna check them out again to experience those coffee and tea offerings. On our visit, I opted for a refreshing N/A beer by Athletic. The brewery is spacious with family-style picnic table seating, a small performance stage, and lots of games and activities for folks. We opted for sitting in their back patio because it was a perfectly beautiful warm and sunny day. As with the interior, sitting outback, you'd never realize you were in a strip mall of sorts. The brewery, honestly, is something I'd expect to see in my city neighborhood (Central East) or on Sixth. The employees were super cool, helpful, and friendly. What a great scene to stumble upon.
