They have two fridges full of cold singles and 10 more with 4 packs, a few shelves of warm singles and large formats, 11 pinball machines, foosball, and a nice big space to hang out and drink your beers in. The Brewtique is one of those places that's a bit hard to define. Is it a bottle shop? Yes, for sure it is. There's a large row of coolers that run along the right side with a wide variety of styles/breweries and even NA options-and the back has a lot of European and domestic 'whales' that run high price tags but are harder to find. You can mix and match pretty much anything. Is it a bar? You could say that, any of the beers in the cooler can be consumed on-site; there's picnic tables both inside and outside and there's bar type games: pinball, foosball, darts that you can play while you hang out and drink. They don't have a kitchen but there's always a food truck right outside or you can bring your own in. I've never been for bingo or comedy nights or anything like that. I come for the brews, chill out and eat good food; it's kind of like being in someone's rec room but with way more beer. My only real knock is the corkage fee, if you're going to drink on-site they do charge $2 bucks per, which doesn't seem like much but it adds up. read more

This place is a gem among all the places where you could buy beer. The Brewtique is a specialized store that focuses primarily on local craft beers but also offers some domestic beers. They have seating both inside and outside and a small selection of pinball machines and other games to play. They have a large selection of beers from Austin, Houston, and Texas (in general). They also feature some unique beers from other states. If you enjoy hoppy beers or dark beers, you'll love it here. When we came here recently, they had just opened, and we were the only ones there. There was only one worker, but he explained where all the beers were and how much they sold for. They have four- and six-pack lids, so you can build your pack as you like it. We were told that if we wanted to drink onsite, there would be a $1 corking fee. But all build-your-own-packs must be taken to go. We did ask about a couple of beers that interested us, but the worker shared that he hadn't tried them yet. Overall, we had a good experience here and never felt pressured to buy anything. This is like a neighborhood mini mart except instead of junk food and paraphernalia- you just have a HUGE selection of craft beers and some mainstream options. There are even a few wine bottles hidden in a corner. How it works: walk in and buy your beer in singles, to go packs, or make your own to go pack. If you want to enjoy a single in house and hang out with some other cool folks- they'll pop it for you for a small corking fee. If you don't know what you want- tell them what you usually drink. They'll find you something amazing. It's a great way to try new pours without committing to a pack. You can start a tab and keep the party going. If the food truck is there (Rogues) you should 100% get the pot roast pierogies- you can thank me later. There are some free arcade games, board games, televisions and foos ball. There's a covered patio if Texas weather allows it and corn hole. Very friendly welcome, asked what we liked, then walked through the display pointing out varieties to check out. Great selection of beers, but too pricy for me. Stopped in yesterday, chatted with the owner, and bought a couple of singles, (one 19.2 oz and one 12 oz). With the charge to open the cans, ($2 each), tax on all of the above, and a tip, it was $13.40! Come here and drink good beer, but. These guys got it goin (sic) on where else can you find a Maine Brewing Co beers or a selection of IPAs that will blow your mind. Folks here are friendly and of course knowledgable and provide a high level of customer service. We all met at another place for happy hour when bud 1 recommend this place for some take home treats. I mean,come on, we know a beer-n-burger nut like me can't say no. I really can't say enough good things about the Brewtique. They have an amazing variety of drinks and they're always bringing in new items. The team is incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable about their products, and all around just a couple of really cool folks. Great place to try out a new beer then buy a six-pack or two. We had a couple beers each (they sell singles if you are hanging out) and then bought some to take home. Taco Truck pilsner was great, Mama Pisner, and there was a pickle beer that was probably a tad too pickley for me (go figure). Great/fun selection, good prices, knowledgeable staff, and lots of picnic tables out to keep you spread out and safe. You can get snacks too, or play Starship Troopers pinball (Do You Want To Know More?!?). We had a good time just chilling there on a Sunday afternoon. Owner(s?) seem to care a bunch, and have been available to point out new releases/limited beers, make recommendations, and take pics of my dog. Prices slightly higher than other big retailers, but selection is much better (tip: check their Instagram for limited beers and new stock). Also, a good selection of CBD products for those interested. I have never hung around to drink there, but you can for a small per-beer charge if you want.
