Excellent service! The guy at the food truck in the back was so nice and his food was hot and fresh. Don't miss the fried pickles guys - you'll thank me later! We ordered the red hot and blue which was blue cheese and buffalo sauce, the sink which was bacon, mushrooms, and all of the toppings, and the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. All of them can come with fries (included) and you can pay $3 for onions rings instead or $3 for tater tots instead. We got each of them to try and loved the fries the best. They may be the best fries I can remember. The red, white, and blue was great. The sink needed seasoning but the meat and quality were top notch. The chicken cordon bleu had a mustard sauce which was nice but overpowered the sandwich. Next time (there will be a next time) we will get the red, white and blue and the regular fries! This is a wonderful local pub. I love going there, the bartenders always seem friendly and attentive. The beer selection is fine. While I enjoy going there, it would take a little more from a menu and selection perspective for a higher rating in my opinion. A completely pleasant neighborhood bar and grill. As comfortable as old bedtime slippers. The bartender is a charmer who mixes a decent Mexican Martini. Her pour is large for which I am grateful. The food is good ... But they do offer FUBAR as one of the flavors of the wings. The bartender had tales to tell afterwards of how they developed the recipe. (The wings would be blowing the top of the cook's head off, and the bartender would be saying "Not Hot Enough"). They finally got the FUBAR wings hot enough. I eat firey food all the time ... I am Texan. Eating things with chiles is what we do. But one bite of a Copper Top FUBAR wing and I was done. I could see lasting destruction of every gastrointestinal organ I had from pure molten lava. To my shock, my dining companion, in this case, a mild mannered guy from Minnesota, Happily chowed down the rest of my wings as if they were garlic soy. I watched him eat in pure amazement. The mild wings I ordered as a substitute and my onion rings were lovely. And I can vouch for the fact that those onion rings are good at mopping up fire. There is only one FUBAR item on the menu - that one flavor of appetizer wings. Everything else is food normal humans with vulnerable anatomies can eat. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I was greeted and served with a drink less than 5 mins. I had ordered my favorite fried pickles with ranch and I do highly recommend their fried pickles with ranch because it was on point. The two dart boards are in good shape, near the pool tables but in a corner so you do not get distracted by "traffic". **Bring your own- Fresh - white board Markers! Bar food (burgers, wings) are decent, at reasonable prices, fast enough delivery. Does Not smell like a dive bar. Non-smoking inside. OK selection of draft beers; not many porters/stouts though. Mexican Martinis are great, for the average person one will get you buzzing and two should be the limit LOL. Web connected Juke-box, so selection of songs is large. Live band plays some nights. Where do I even start with this review... this place has gone down hill fast. All of the good bartenders are gone; probably due to the poor management from the very top to the awful bar manager (Liz). Drinks are way overpriced, staff is rude and there are far too many better places than to settle for this establishment. I just discovered CTT looking for a non-smoking bar to play pool this weekend, which is rare in the Round Rock area. The place is awesome: great selection of beer including local IPAs on tap, 80s metal music playing, and a friendly bartender. I really like this place. I'd give this tavern 5 stars if not for one problem: the coin operated 80s pool tables obviously haven't been serviced since the 80s. If CTT "pooled" their coin machine dollars and quarters into a repair fund: table resurfacing, new felt, new numbers, and new balls, I'd be here every weekend. read more

This is mine and hubby's favorite bar! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a good beer and liquor selection and the food is yummy as well! We almost always order fried pickles or mozzarella sticks, but if you want a full meal the burgers and fries are great! Keep an eye out for them to bring back fish n chips! They temporarily do not have it due to staffing changes. The space is good for large groups and there's pool, darts, shuffleboard, Golden Tee, as well as plenty of TVs if you want to be entertained. We've been talking about checking this place out for years and finally did today, to wrap up my wife's birthday weekend. The vibe was awesome! We had already had lunch (since they open at 3 and we were getting hangry before). Almost immediately we decided this will be our go to hangout when we want to play pool or darts and do a little day drinking or just to have a low key afternoon/evening. Can't wait to try the food. This is a terrific neighborhood bar. There is nothing pretentious about it. You can play pool, darts, and video games. Or, you can sit at the bar and watch sports or whatever else is on the tvs. The bar has a solid selection of alcohol, and you will always get good service. When it's not crazy busy, you'll have attentive table service, but during crowded times, you may find you need to go directly to the bar (no crying in baseball, ok folks!). You can choose the bar music thru a phone app, so it can be an interesting evening if dueling groups are fighting for dominance! The food available is filling, satisfying, and tasty. Chicken wings have an intense kick! Quesadillas are nice and cheesy. Parking isn't great, but this isn't a massive bar. I've never heard someone walk in complaining about parking. Down in Austin visiting from out of state, and the Copper Top quickly became my nightly go-to spot. It is kind of easy to miss as you're casually jamming down RM 620 because it kind of blends in with the other store fronts in the building...don't make the mistake of smashing by... Good food via their food truck. Good variety of drinks. Solid seating sectioning so you can take advantage of the type of social mood you're in. Plenty of TVs that they'll gladly change to your preference. Video gambling. Pool tables. Good company and variety of patrons. There was a section for live music; however, it wasn't in action while I was there...that would have likely taken this review over the top. Most importantly, the staff is dope - specifically Tim and Kaylee - who made my time in the area solid. Good drink knowledge and overall conversation. Similar set-up to some of my favorite local bars in my area. Hopefully be back in the area at some point in the future, and if so, it'll likely be one of my first stops when I get a solo moment. One bad bartender almost ruined it. The young male bartender was talking to the women inappropriately all night, and generally using the F word to everyone was really off-putting. Copper Top has everything you could want in a neighborhood bar. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The bartenders are really friendly and fast. The bar itself is very comfortable with nice, cushioned bar stools and plenty of TVs in view. Beer selection is pretty good too with a rotating mix of different craft beers as well as all of the domestic staples. They have an arcade/slot room and the bartenders can get you set up really quickly. I haven't been while the food truck is open so I can't comment but the menu looks good.
