Unfortunately, my recent visit to this spot was overshadowed by incredibly poor service, despite the food being great. Our server, Grace, was absolutely rude and lazy throughout the entire experience. I had ordered 4 shots, and two of them had a bit of Tajín in the glass. One of my friends wasn't comfortable with the glass being dirty and asked for a new shot, while my other friend just accepted it due to the slow service. When we pointed this out, the server who brought the shots basically tried to push us to just take them as-is before eventually switching them out after some convincing. Later, I ordered a beer at 11:56, just before closing, and Grace asked if we needed anything else from the bar. I requested another round, and she said she'd talk to her manager. However, she came back quickly without ever speaking to the manager, telling us she wasn't going to serve us and making snide comments like, "Are you going to pay my bills?" and "I have bills to pay for." Honestly, it was uncalled for, and no one asked about her financial situation--it just felt unprofessional and rude. We tried to explain that the delay in service was why we needed another round, but she dismissed us and refused to accommodate. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise decent meal. I was unsure being a female how the experience would be-- and I was pleasantly surprised... first impression the restaurant was clean and had super cool decor! Our server Heidi was so warm and inviting! She gave us great food and drink recommendations. We had a sampling of goodies like Italian flatbread, generous nachos and their grilled and smoked wings.. so good! To drink I had a peanut butter espresso martini.. Which is now my new favorite! They have a lot of specials during the weekdays, not too much during the weekend when we went though. So I'm leaving a second review after coming here fairly regularly over a year or so period. Im also upgrading my review to 5 stars. This location provides consistently high quality from the food to the service, and now the environment has been upgraded! I really enjoy the new look. The restaurant is more open and some of the tables are cafeteria style which promotes a social atmosphere. There are still individual tables though. Hell I usually sit alone. I just like seeing people having a good time. There are some stunning as well as super nice servers here but it has pretty much always been that way since I've been coming here. They offer a variety of food on the menu including healthy choices and a veggie burger that is just fantastic. Best of all it won't break the bank...unless you go stupid on the tip. P10 is down the street haha. But the servers do seem to build rapport with repeat customers. Overall if you haven't been here in awhile, it's worth another visit. I suggest Friday during happy hour.
