Chicken Biryani
Amanda L.

Pretty solid food and service. I felt a little bad because the lady helping us kept coming back so often even when we weren't quite ready. I did the google review thing and got the free dessert! It's not really my thing but it's kind nice that they have it. I got the chicken biryani and butter chicken. Both were pretty solid! We also got garlic naan. Nothing that stands out but overall would not mind coming back.

Best Indian food we've had in a long time. Amazing cocktail menu and so many seafood options which was really unique. Can't wait to come back when in roundrock again.

Two dedicated parking spots for to go orders

I was in the area waiting in a long line at a local store on the area and I was HANGRY. Yelp brought me here so I ordered online via the restaurant's website for pick up. The website lists tacos and wings however upon clicking it to order their Toasttab showed all of the tacos were out of stock. I'm going to be keeping my eye out when these items do come back as I would love to try these items. Kudos to them for having dedicated parking spots for pick up orders. Makes it convenient. I wanted to try a veg curry tonight so I ordered the chana masala (garbanzo beans). You are given three options for the level of heat: mild, medium and hot. I felt brave since I love spicy food so I went with Hot. We also ordered other items such as the chicken chilly to try and the kiddo chose mozzarella sticks with fries. There is a bar inside. They also have tables inside and outside if you want one dine in. When picking up to go orders they will direct you to the bar. The food was ready at the time promised. The chana masala was good. They definitely came through with the heat! Thank you! I was happy with it. The chicken chilly had good flavor and was excellent. I will be keeping my eye out for the wings and tacos.

Goat Curry

This has been by far one of the most amazing Indian restaurant I found in ATX. They serve sizzlers! And delicious dahi k kebab (they could use some presentation and plating here though). Everything we tried was mouthwatering. The Kebob platter is the best way to try all when you can't pick just one. Their cocktail menu is very unique. Husband enjoyed the goat curry a lot. And I loved my kofte (no pic sorry). Simple ambiance, amazing full bar, friendly staff. You place order online through their QR code found at each table and loved that you order on your own at your ease and keep the tab open or pay as you go. Waiting to go back and try more. Definitely try this place if you enjoy Indian cuisine.

Hara bhara kabab

Good food, chill bar + restaurant. Malai kofta was delicious and garlic naan was perfectly made, freshly baked from the tandoor. The hara bhara kabab appetizer was deep fried 'n crispy and the side chutneys were tasty. Portion sizes are small though. The restroom needs more upkeep and maintenance.

Goat Curry

Went here on a double date. We shared 3 curries among us, the lamb, goat and chicken tikka masala. All of them were pretty good, my favorite was the chicken tikka masala. My biggest complaint was they're very stingy with their meat, the ratio of curry to meat was 80% curry, 20% meat. I got the hot level of spice and it was still edible for sure so don't be afraid to go spicy. I wasn't a big fan of the goat, it was a bit too sweet for me. We also got the garlic naan and cheese stuffed naan and that was really good. The service was neutral, they don't have servers come to the table but rather you order on your phone on their website which was interesting. Not sure if I'll be back but it was still pretty good and I'd check it out if you're looking for good curry in the area.

This is a case where I'm hoping it's a bad day, because the awesome reviews didn't add up. I'll start with the good. inside is nice and there's a lot of TVs if you want to eat Indian food and watch sports this is your spot. However, my food wasn't enjoyable so I don't have anything positive to say. I came here today for lunch to go with my wife. My wife ordered ahead. I ordered the Punjabi Chicken Curry with roti and she ordered chicken Tikka Masala with naan bread with cheese. She didn't receive naan bread with cheese it was instead naan bread with garlic. Our chicken was cubed chicken breast, but the chicken breast in both entrees was dry and not very tender at all. My Punjabi Chicken Curry wasn't flavorful there's plenty of better tasting Indian Food restaurant in the area like Bayleaf, Curry Kitchen, and Rock N Grill, for the quality and flavor to be off. The Tikka Masala was on the bland side in flavor. Neither of was a le to enjoy and finished our meal. I was very disappointed and won't be back!

Food was great !! We had the Chicken Tikka Masala & Lamb Curry... Staff was great. Would recommend if you are in the Round Rock area. Will be coming back no doubt.

Never been to an indian restaurant with a solid bar and outdoor area. Great for lunch and happy hour times especially and not just for dinner. Chicken was made of thighs so it was leaner which I prefer, charred well too. I'd order the hariyali and achari again as it was crisp and tender, I like the chilly chicken but messed with my palette after switching up between Tikkas. Next time I'd have that as a stand-alone and wait before main meal as I ordered all three at once. Ordering was east with the QR code and easy to pay too. I like this feature a lot, menu did have some pics too to make it easy. Service was a bit on the slower side even on the bar but if you're enjoying drinks and outdoors it's not bad.

The Things and I came in today to give a new local spot some love and woooooow! When we came in, there were no open tables ready, so one of the owners invited The Things and I to sit at the bar. Like many places now, the menu here is only available via smartphone. We ordered a few things off the menu and I was able to add my credit card to the order for easy check-out (bonus). This is an ideal concept as it allows patrons to get in and out of an establishment without waiting for a check to be brought to the table. Let's get to it! Samosa Chaat This street-style Samosa Chaat served here is a hearty, tangy, and spicy snack that represents all the best parts of Indian cuisine! It's layered with garbanzo beans, crispy samosa, chutneys, yogurt, spices, and sev to hit all the flavor profiles and textures in one dish. These samosas within this dish are crispy on the outside with a flavorful sev for an extra bit of crunch. Mozzarella Cheese Bites Nothing could possibly be more pleasing to cheese aficionados than these crunchy side dishes, tandoori mozzarella sticks, which are cheese, cheese, and more cheese all the way through! A simple flavoring of oregano and chili-flakes ensures that the overall effect of Indian style cheese sticks is very pleasing. Therefore, handmade Tandoori Mozzarella Sticks are nirvana for cheese lovers since the cheese is gushing out and is a treat for both the sight and the mouth. Bravo! Tandoori Chicken Tikka Ohhhhhhh, who doesn't love a Tandoori Tikka? This wonderfully spicy marinade gives a distinctive taste to oven cooked and grilled meats. Undoubtedly Tandoori chicken is the king of all tikkas in the tandoor repertoire. Amidst all the street food, kebabs, tikkas, biryanis and grilled meats, it's at the top of the list. This chicken was flavorful, mesquite and tender. The bed of vegetables the Tandoori sat atop of was grilled to perfection. Tandoori Shrimp These shrimp were big, juicy, fresh, firm and perfectly grilled while bursting with amazing flavors, a punch of spice, and deep flavors of Indian spices. Tandoori Chicken Taco This dish is described as Tandoori Chicken, with lettuce, onions, and Pico de Gallo topped with Tandoori Sauce on Naan Bread. The chicken on this dish was flavorful and tender while the addition of the pico to the Tandoori added a heightened layer of freshness to the dish. Sassy Lassi We also ordered a few drinks BUT I would like to highlight the Sassy Lassi which was lassi with rum topped with pistachios. The drink was warm (as far as flavor profile), creamy and sweet. This drink would fare well as a nightcap. The service here was prompt and courteous. The owner checked on The Things and I more than once throughout service and asked if there was anything he could improve upon during our visit. The level of service combined with the food is worth the visit. #supportlocal

Paneer Tikka Masala on left and daal makhni on the right.

First time visit: Food quality was not that great. One of the 3 dishes we ordered were good. The daal had no flavor and paneer tikka masala had the wrong gravy. Service was good and ambiance was average.

Samosa and Aloo Tikki Chaat

This place looked interesting. An Indian sports bar? Let's do this! Sort of neat to order at your table on your phone, not with a waiter. The food was good. I really liked the Punjabi Chicken Curry and the the serving dishes were cool. I have never had Aloo Tikki Chaat, so no baseline for comparison. I was not a huge fan, but maybe it's an acquired taste. I'll be back for lunch sometime to try some naan tacos.

Still drooling from my meal! Been wanting to try this place but never make it in since I usually have my kiddos. Checked the menu and PTL, chicken fingers are on the menu so in we went. Ordering is different and simple, scan the QR code in front of you and order from there, you even pay from there if you want; it was awesome, I wish more places did this. Service was great, we were greeted by someone in the kitchen when we walked in then the server/bartender. The ambiance is very bare, minimalistic style, and was very clean, The food.... I ordered the butter chicken and it was the best I've had in a long time. The best I've ever had a friend made me and this was right up there with it. I told my daughter I wanted to drink the sauce and she looked at me like I was insane lol. But my daughter loved the butter naan as well as her chicken fingers. I will be back FOR SURE. I do wish they had smaller less expensive portions for a lunch option as with 2 waters, kids meal, naan and my meal, it was just over $33, which I can't do on the regular for lunch. But I can understand why it costs what it does, the prep work that must go into all of this food and the ingredients, I can see why it is what it is.

My girls are begging for anchor wings nightly, the 9yo loves their retrial and the 7yo loves the jerk, I personally love the honey siracha and babe alert ranch. Now the honey siracha, it's listed as like the one of the hottest, no sir it's barely spicy at all, I still love it but just saying. Wait staff is always awesome, friendly and super helpful. Only complaint is we saw they have .99c wings on Tuesdays, it says limit 10, which was perfect for the girls and I since we can't eat more than 6. The waiter said it's a misprint and supposed to say 10 minimum. That was frustrating and sad because we would go every Tuesday if we could order less, 10 is way too much for all 3 of us and all 3 like different flavors so sharing won't work either. Love the hand cleaning station, although it looks like it could use a cleaning itself lol. But 5 stars because yesssss, the food and the service are so good. Wait one more complaint, sorry! The skillet cookie, way too expensive for what you get AND the skillet is tiny it's impossible to eat without getting burned. Knowing it was bringing hot and being careful all 3 of us still left with burns.

My recent visit to this spot could have easily gone sideways with a late night run out situation,…read morebut it was turned into one of the best experiences thanks to incredibly warm, accommodating service that made everything feel just right. My server, Julia, was an absolute star from the moment we sat down, super friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring about making sure we had a great time. I ordered a dish that usually comes with a certain side (you know how it is with those classic pairings), but they had run out toward the end of the night. No big deal at all, I get that items run low during busy late hours, but when I asked if they could just take it off and swap in something else (I wasn't feeling fries that night), Julia handled it like a pro. She didn't hesitate, made sure it was adjusted perfectly without any extra charge or fuss, and even checked back to confirm I was happy with how it turned out. I truly appreciate how understanding and flexible she was, it's rare to find that kind of no drama accommodation, especially late in the shift. Shoutout to the manager, Verna, too, she's clearly running a tight ship with a positive vibe, because the whole team felt welcoming and on point. The rest of the staff we interacted with were just as great: quick smiles, helpful energy, and that perfect balance of fun without being over the top.

Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.

I am so torn on this place. My friends and I were looking for a cute spot for a moms night out…read more(just 3 of us). We decided to make a reservation at Odds Bar and give it a try. Arrived right on time and the parking lot was PACKED, though the restaurant appeared nearly empty except for a loud networking event going on in a devoted side room open to the main area. No one at the desk to greet us, just a sign to seat ourselves, so we did. Guess reservations don't really matter? It was quite a while before anyone approached us, but when a server finally came he was very nice and helpful. We ordered drinks and entrees. It took an ABSURD amount of time before the drinks came out...maybe because of the event? Not sure. The bar and restaurant seemed nearly empty otherwise and the bartender didn't look busy or rushed at all. Luckily we had intended to make a night of it, so we were able to wait. It was hard to hear each other talk, though, due to the networking event. When the drinks finally came, mine was AMAZING. Like, one of the best drinks I've had in Austin, and maybe one of the best of my life? Weeks later I'm still thinking about it. I got the Going Bananas and it was simple perfection. The food also took a while to come out, but at least we had drinks to tide us over. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed. The toppings were spare and didn't offer much to elevate the dish, and the chicken itself, while tasty, was very dry in parts, to the extent where I was dipping it in ketchup to get it to go down easy. The bun and fries were good. Our server seemed to have evaporated into thin air after delivering food, so we had no water refills and had to vye for attention to pay the check. Eventually the bartender came and helped us pay, and seemed terse and annoyed when we asked to split our check. (Three middle-aged women...seems more likely a split than combined?) All in all, we were there about 3 hours total, mostly because service took so long. Such a bizarre experience. I would NOT come here if you are on any kind of timeline. The only way I'll come back is to sit at the bar and have drinks only.

No puddings, and regular bacon instead of rashers, but otherwise super traditional and fantastic. The bangers stood out - YUM. We also got some candied bacon for fun which made the whole meal even more excessive, haha. It was superb, and a generous portion that the two of us easily shared. I'm hooked. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.
