Cover 3 was suggested to us. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the recommendation. All the food was either spicy or bland. The brick chicken mac'n'cheese says it has red pepper flakes so one would expect it to be spicy. The chicken and shrimp pasta gives no indication of spicy, but tastes like a creole pasta at other places, some heat. The brick chicken club and parmesan fries were both bland; no seasoning on the chicken, fake smoke flavor on the bacon (but not much "bacon" flavor), and an avocado so far from being ripe that it could have made the round trip home and back again before being ready to settle in a sandwich - and all the salt and parmesan seemed to rest under the shoe string fries. Food is on the pricey side (especially for a sports bar), service was alright, other patrons were loud-drunk (as opposed to fun-drunk or social-drunk), and the overall experience was "meh".

My friends came here for some Saturday College football. Upon arriving I was a bit confused because Hop Doddy's was right next to it. I couldn't really tell at first where this place was. But if you look to the right you will see Cover three. This place is awesome for lunch or dinner to hangout with friends and family to watch some sports. The food was delicious made fast and with flavor. The wings are definitely my favorite. The service was fast and our waitress provided us delightful experience. I am definitely coming back to hang out again.

Stopped in for their Social Hour. You can enjoy social hour Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM with bites and drinks ranging from $4 to $8. The restaurant isn't as big as expected but I found a seat at the bar easily with a friendly bartender. I decided to get a house margarita and stuffed avocado. One margarita alone got me together thanks to the bartender! The avocado was stuffed with chicken, cheese, seasoning, olis, and sunflower seeds. The seeds threw me for a loop but it was actually pretty good. And while the portions seems small, it was just enough for me. It is also served with a large tortilla chip on the side for you to pair.

Service is great here! The servers are always kind and attentive. The wing of the day was really good and our server let us taste the sauce before ordering it which was really thoughtful. It's a good place to eat at after work since it's not too busy! I'll be back for sure!

Our favorite place to watch the games in Round Rock. Drinks are always superb and the servers are always extremely nice and engaging. The food has been wonderful as well, and I love how meaningfully the space on the inside is designer. Even when crowded it just feels amazing and is a great place to come for happy hour, food, and football!

Cover 3 was great for a quick lunch. I was seated immediately and the restaurant was clean and spacious. I'm a vegetarian so there weren't a ton of options but I did get a salad with fries. Both were solid and the staff were nice. Would go back for HH.

Fries were good, the chicken on the sliders was good but I didn't personally love the bread. My sister got the chicken Mac n cheese and it was SPICY HOT so definitely be aware. Seating here was kinda wonky as most the tables were permanently affixed so if you're in a larger party 6+ be aware y'all might end up having to seated separately depending on the restaurant being busy. They do have waitlist available on Yelp which I love! There weren't any major games on at the time we were there so it wasn't loud at the time, perfect place for our family dinner. They have free WiFi if you ask for the login :)

Family night at cover 3. Typical of a sports bar, it was loud; walls decorated with big screen tvs. A spacious venue located in Round Rock just off 35, we dropped in to watch the Texas game and sample their cuisine. Appetizers were the loaded nachos and Mongolian pork lettuce wraps. Didn't really like the nachos but the kids did. The wraps were surprisingly good. That was just a gamble that paid off. Entrees consisted of hickory burgers, steak tacos, steak sliders, chili, wings, and Mac and cheese. Burgers were served with underwhelming Parmesan fries. Seasoned and cooked well. Steak tacos come with assembly required but were delicious. Sliders came with no accoutrements with a side of ketchup and mayo maybe? But very enjoyable. Chili, wings, mac and cheese were huge hits among our party. Service was excellent. Expedient and out of sight. She didn't hover but made sure to ensure we didn't need anything. I regret not getting the young lady's name who served our part of ten. But she was a peach. For your convenience you can also scan and pay, including tip.

I want to give it a 4.5 it was super good. Inside is very cool with an open kitchen without it being too loud or chaotic. The service was so great (Whitney was our server and was so nice and helpful and patient with all my questions). We went at 7pm on a Friday night, they sat us in 2 min and were shockingly quick with both the appetizer and our entrees. We got the loaded nachos with chicken and it was delicious plus had a lot of chicken. I got the flat iron tacos which come unassembled which was kind of fun. The steak was a little tough but I probably should've ordered it medium instead of medium well. My husband got the chipotle ranch wings and the parm fries on the side. He gave them a 7.5/10 "they could've had more chipotle, but were yummy". The fries were also good but they're shoe string cut so you need to eat them quick! We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

A great upscale bar & grill with a classy vibe. Such good service and lots of TVs. Enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sliders, the bread is so soft and fresh. The fries could have been fresher and tossed better so below avg. The wings were so fresh and sauce was very good. Would go back again!

Cover 3 is a great simple, easy, American diner. It has TVs, plenty of drinks to choose from, and nice casual food. I've been to plenty of American diners like this but it just doesn't stand out to me, it's just regular no special draw but the food and service is great. Our server was great, quick attentive, and the food came out quick considering it was lunch time. I was blown away how good the flat bread was, that's one of the better flatbread pizzas I've had, the cheese tasted special like a blend of mozzarella but with something else, maybe a Swiss? But it definitely was crispy and cheesy. The lunch eggs, bacon, home style fries was a nice lunch, nothing special, but the potatoes were nice, crispy crunchy with a soft pillowy interior of potato. I asked for toast but it didn't come with it, it needs to come complimentary with toast with butter, that's what makes an all American breakfast meal all American but it's similar to America on a debt deficit. The chicken fried steak was amazing, true American meal, everything you want from a regular standard mash potato, crispy n crunchy steak with thick white gravy on top. Another great dish. Nothing special or taste different from other dishes but it's nice. Lastly, the chips n queso, I'll probably not order it again. Great chips, fresh but the queso had a weird cheap taste to it, like a lingering cheap taste. The queso has a white cheddar taste but it's not what I was expecting, it just had a weird after taste.

Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.

The waiter said it's a misprint and supposed to say 10 minimum. That was frustrating and sad because we would go every Tuesday if we could order less, 10 is way too much for all 3 of us and all 3 like different flavors so sharing won't work either. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Arrived right on time and the parking lot was PACKED, though the restaurant appeared nearly empty except for a loud networking event going on in a devoted side room open to the main area. No one at the desk to greet us, just a sign to seat ourselves, so we did. Guess reservations don't really matter? It was quite a while before anyone approached us, but when a server finally came he was very nice and helpful. We ordered drinks and entrees. It took an ABSURD amount of time before the drinks came out...maybe because of the event? Not sure. The bar and restaurant seemed nearly empty otherwise and the bartender didn't look busy or rushed at all. Luckily we had intended to make a night of it, so we were able to wait. It was hard to hear each other talk, though, due to the networking event. When the drinks finally came, mine was AMAZING. Like, one of the best drinks I've had in Austin, and maybe one of the best of my life? Weeks later I'm still thinking about it. I got the Going Bananas and it was simple perfection. The food also took a while to come out, but at least we had drinks to tide us over. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed. The toppings were spare and didn't offer much to elevate the dish, and the chicken itself, while tasty, was very dry in parts, to the extent where I was dipping it in ketchup to get it to go down easy. The bun and fries were good. Our server seemed to have evaporated into thin air after delivering food, so we had no water refills and had to vye for attention to pay the check. Eventually the bartender came and helped us pay, and seemed terse and annoyed when we asked to split our check. (Three middle-aged women...seems more likely a split than combined?) All in all, we were there about 3 hours total, mostly because service took so long. Such a bizarre experience. I would NOT come here if you are on any kind of timeline. The only way I'll come back is to sit at the bar and have drinks only.

Service is quick, the beer on tap is cold, the place was clean, and I loved the funny t-shirts they have for sale. I can't wait to come back and check out the live music scene!
